PART 40'S

Raya ran small trying to compensate for the steps of Rendra who was getting away from him.

"Sister, please listen to me for a moment."

Rendra stopped his steps and sighed.

"Alright, say! What do you want to explain to me."

Raya immediately stepped in front of Rendra. "Sister, I don't know who to turn to for help. I'm pretty sure only Big Brother can help me."

"Help?" ask Rendra who is starting to be curious.

"I have proof, proof that it wasn't me who planned the accident that saved Auntie and her personal driver some time ago. I'm gonna give this to Bayu." It's a flash drive.

"Enough!"

Raya gasped when she heard Rendra's scream. Rendra looked at him sharply. It is clear that Rendra refrains from violence against Raya.

"You..." Rendra pointed at Raya's face full of anger. "You didn't meet me to apologize but still to defend!?"

Rendra pulled Raya's arm and took her inside her car. The two on the way fell silent without a word. About fifteen minutes drive. They arrived at a simple Villa not far from the city.

Raya is still hesitant to get off Rendra's car. Without asking for Raya's approval, Rendra opened the car door and pulled Raya back out. Bring Raya into the Villa.

They walked up the stairs and to a door.

"Look! See clearly what you're doing!" Rendra pointed at the bed where a woman was lying using some medical equipment to support her consciousness.

Raya left the room with shaky steps. His feet were too heavy to support his body.

"Raya, are you not well?"

Raya opened her eyes and tried to regain her consciousness. After standing up straight and can already see clearly who is supporting his body.

"Nobody died. The shooting at Villa was a charade. I foolishly believe it completely." Raya threw the flash drive that she had been holding.

Defin stepped away as Bayu approached Raya.

"Then, you used me for that?! Yeah, I know because I'm nobody in the eye. I'm just a useless stranger!"

Raya pushes Bayu's body. "I don't need that. Go back to Tessa. He needs you more."

Raya ran away from Bayu. Bayu was going after him. However, Rendra knew that and prevented it.

"Stop getting here! If you don't want me to do things you never imagined for your lover" Rendra told Bayu.

Bayu threw his punch right in Rendra's face. "Do it, if you don't want to see the world tomorrow!"

Rendra smiled slanted while rubbing his cheek that was hit by Bayu's punch. "In my eyes you're just a coward and a scum! Don't expect me to respect you like I used to. Father's figure is dead when I find out what a disgusting thing you're doing."

"Never involve Raya in your hatred. You can do anything to me not with Raya."

"Ckckl... What a disgusting sentence I've heard" said Rendra.

Defin immediately tried to break up the fight. He did not want these two people to overflow each other's emotions because it would end badly.

"You have to hold it. Our goal here is not for this" Defin said.

Bayu began to lower his emotions and went back up the stairs to Tessa's room.

"Wait here" Bayu ordered Defin

Bayu held the doorknob and opened it. Then he violently closed the door again.

"Stop pretending. I clearly saw that you were surprised when I slammed the door."

Tessa opened her eyes and released the oxygen mask attached to her nose. Tessa positioned her body half-sitting leaning on the head of the bed.

"It's exhausting. You're smart enough not to be fooled by my acting. You made sure Rendra left, didn't you."

"You manipulated Rendra by feigning suicide. You're even more petty than I thought."

"Don't equate me with trash like you. Rendra is indeed a smart child to give the nickname 'junk' to you."

Bayu begins to disappear into the patience of facing Tessa. Bayu grabbed Tessa's neck and gripped her firmly. Bayu's eyes turned red staring at Tessa. Tessa tried to let go of the strangulation around her neck, thrashing. Even now Bayu's hand is full of scratches from Tessa.

"Didn't you want to die! I'll grant it right now."

Heard the commotion inside the room. Defin immediately enters and resuscitates Bayu not to kill Tessa at this time.

Bayu let go of her giggling and hit the mirror on the dresser next to Tessa. Tessa coughed, trying to breathe in as much oxygen as possible. Defin grabbed the oxygen mask lying on the bed and re-attached it to Tessa's nose.

Tessa started breathing normally after a while. Seeing that Tessa's condition was better, Defin immediately took Bayu away from the Villa.

"You almost ruined our plan. If he dies, we won't know who's behind all those accidents."

Since the accident occurred, Bayu continues to receive threats from various parties. Bayu several times received death threats until his company data was stolen from business opponents. His business image was slowly destroyed. Everything he could handle was slowly improving.
