PART 33

After his quarrel with Raya this morning. Tessa tried to calm her mind and tried to forget everything. Everyone must have misunderstood. That's how he keeps trying to calm down.

When Tessa came out of her room, a housemaid just came out of the room with dirty clothes.

"Wait, wait" said Tessa.

"Mrs, need something?"

"This is Raya's outfit this morning?" tessa asked, pointing to a medium-sized basket the middle-aged woman was carrying.

"Yes, Madam. I need to immediately clean the stain on his shirt if left too long it could not be lost."

Tessa turned her eyes back to the pile of dirty clothes Raya and right there was Bayu's clothes. As Raya told him this morning.

"Go," Tessa orders her housemaid. After the woman left, Tessa walked into the room.

Tessa swept her gaze to every corner of the Kingdom's room. Tessa headed for the Raya dresser, slowly pulling the small drawer on the table. A dark blue jewelry box was inside that drawer.

"Since when Raya bought the jewelry, I've never seen this jewelry box before."

Tessa knows every piece of jewelry Raya has because Raya always asks for her advice if she wants to buy jewelry. Usually Raya even hands over all the options on Tessa and Raya just makes the payment.

Tessa grabbed the jewelry box and wanted to open it.

"Madam" the housemaid's voice shocked Tessa and the jewelry box fell to the floor and the jeweler fell under the dresser. He had not seen the box yet.

Tessa got up from her seat and looked resentfully at her maid.

"What are you still here for. Didn't I order you to go."

"Sorry, Madam. I just want to say that there's a guest who wants to see you."

"CK! Next time knock on the door."

The waiter fell silent, regretting his mistake.

"Done everything and put the jewelry box back in the drawer." Tessa left Raya's room.

"Okay, Madam." The waiter nodded in understanding and immediately took the jewelry box.

"He said I was rude but he himself entered Miss Raya's room without permission," the servant grumbled.

He grabbed the jewelry box that contained a necklace with a heart pendant. The necklace is a gift of Bayu to Raya some time ago that had triggered a quarrel with Tessa.

"It's a shame that a necklace as good as this isn't in use." The waiter spread the necklace in his palm admiring it.

"But, what's the Madam checking Miss Raya's jewelry for." Then he put the necklace back into the jewelry box and returned it to its original place.

This time Raya is still saved because Tessa did not see the jewelry. Whoever the guest who came was himself to thank for distracting Tessa and also her curiosity.

"Don't I already say that you don't have to pick me up."

Defin ignored Raya's remarks and drove his car forward. They were silent without a word. Raindrops began to wash over the earth.

"I want to ask for help from you," said Raya splitting the silence.

"Rethink before things get too far."

"I've made up my mind and my feet have stepped up, there's not even a way back."

Defin breathed his breath. He knew whatever the Kingdom asked was a big thing to carry out the woman's plan.

"I don't like being in situations like this. A difficult situation where I have to choose between you and Bayu."

"I shouldn't have expected more of you. Of course you'll protect Bayu. But, I'm not just gonna give up."

Defin pulled over his car and stopped on the road. Defin pulled Raya's arm so she could clearly see her face.

"Woodu's starting to suspect, don't you know that? Don't think you can handle his anger with just a sweet smile and the fake love you have."

"Because I know all that, right now I'm protecting myself."

"Stop all the grudges and ambitions you have. In the end there will be only destruction."

"I want Bayu to be mine and to keep him by my side is his company. I have to be the biggest shareholder there."

"You will not be able to achieve your wishes. Because I'm gonna make sure that doesn't happen."

Raya tried to open the car door to get down. However, Defin will not comply with the wishes of Raya. Defin does not want Raya to go and somewhere, all will be more difficult work.

"Until when do you manage my life! I'll do whatever I want."

"Tell that to Bayu. Tell me all your wishes not to me, as you know I'm just carrying out his orders."

Arriving at the house Raya chose to confine herself in the room. Skipping dinner and not answering incoming calls from Bayu either have been to how many times the man tried to contact her.

Raya chooses to ignore everything and chooses to enjoy the night breeze on the balcony of her room.

The sound of the door creaking shocked Raya. A woman slowly entered his room.

"Miss, I brought you dinner."

"I'm not hungry, just bring it back to eat it."

However, the woman ignored Raya's orders and placed the food in the tray on the nightstand.

"I told you, just bring the food."

The woman walked closer towards the Kingdom. He stared at the confusion.

"Miss, I have some information. I think you'd be surprised to hear this." The woman clearly saw the woman smiling.

"I know everything. Whatever happens in this house when everyone sleeps."

"Get out of my room. You're not polite to go into my room."

The woman again ignored the orders of the Kingdom. He stepped towards the Raya bed and sat on the edge of the bed.

"Because Mr. Bayu is not at home, this bed looks quite orderly."

He began to lose his patience with the woman. Raya approached the woman and pulled her out of her room.

When Raya was about to close the door of her room. The woman held back with her left leg.

"I don't understand what you're talking about. Go away I want a break."

"Calm Miss, I will remain silent and as if I see nothing. But, if you close this door and drive me away don't get mad if Lady Tessa finds out about this affair between her husband and niece."

Raya opened her room and asked the housekeeper to return to her room.

"How much do you know?" tanya Raya's.

"Everything. I even know the beginning of your relationship. Until that just happened a few days ago when you plotted all the lies to cover up the suspicions of Madam ." The woman smiled cunningly.

"Enough! Tell me what you want."

"Give me the jewels in that dark blue box and I'll keep them for you at all times."

"You're out of your mind. Don't dream I'll give it to you."

"Well you'll regret it if I open my mouth."

Raya thought for a moment. Then take the jewelry given by Bayu with a heavy heart. Raya is not afraid if all is revealed, she just does not want the woman to foil all her plans.

"Take this! Don't ever say anything about me and Bayu."

The woman opened the jewelry box and stared in admiration.

"I thought it would be hard to get this but it turns out you easily take off this expensive jewelry."

"Get out of my room and leave this house for good."

"I'll give you one piece of information. Madam had started to suspect that even she was about to open this jewelry this morning. However, I managed to prevent it and came at the right time. Don't you have to thank me."

She pushed the woman out of her room. Raya already felt quite faced with that cunning woman.

The price of the necklace was enough to cover his mouth. He could use the money from the sale of the necklace for his living expenses.

But, what if the woman is not satisfied and will go back to blackmailing her.

"What should I do now" muttered Raya.
