18. Hide away

Riana was not yet aware, the operation she underwent was a success. He has now been transferred to the treatment room. Audrey faithfully accompanied him, in the company of his three best friends.

This afternoon it was Nabila's turn to accompany Audrey, she came to bring her best friend's meal and change of clothes.

"Drey, whose ring is it?" Nabila pointed at Audrey's ring finger as the girl wept at her temple.

"Oh this, got aunty Tika. Forgot to give it back."

"Where's mama Tiara ring? I just realized you're not wearing that ring anymore."

"Lost, but forgot where." Audrey looked sad to remember the ring.

Seeing the movement of Riana, Nabila immediately pressed the button available to call the nurse. Shortly thereafter, a nurse appeared with the doctor.

"Is there a fatal wound by the doctor? I mean a wound that could make sister Riana disabled or something?" ask Audrey.

After saying that the doctor came out accompanied by a thank you Audrey and Nabila.

They giggled after taking off that hug.

"I stopped by with some fruit and a soft drink for you." Isabella pointed at her shopping bag.

"Yes, I went right away. There's rehearsal for the Swan Lake show."

"Yes, he was rushed to Mitra Hospital by the security complex. Said the nurse I bribed, she's past a critical period but not yet conscious."

Riswan breathed a heavy sigh.

"What are you gonna do? The police will hunt you."

"So, I feel a little guilty. Moreover a few months ago Riana's mother died, following her papa." Riswan.

"Give yourself up, at least your punishment will be lighter." the guest advised.

"Come on Toni, I don't dare." Riswan nibbled his temple. "Who's taking care of Riana?"

"Saying the company's family, some girls" replied Toni as she lit her cigarette.

"Means Audrey and her friends."

"Audrey?" Toni looked at Riswan with furrowed brows. "Is this the guy?" she showed me her phone with a picture of Audrey.

He photographed Audrey taking it secretly the first time he saw the girl in a seaside cafe.

"Yes right." replied Riswan briefly as he chewed on the food that Toni brought.

"She's the girl who shot me in the leg." Toni growling.

Toni bent her face seeing Riswan laughing at her.

"Thank God you're not in a coma" Riswan said after his laughter subsided. "What did you do to make him shoot you?"

"I forced him into the club and forced him to ask for a cell phone number."

Toni was upset to hear that, but in her heart she confirmed also the words of her cousin.
