In a hospital lobby, Aaron stepped up while playing his cell phone to not pay too much attention to the road in front of him.
Bukkkk
"Gee!" Aaron was surprised when his shoulder was nudged quite hard.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it." a man's voice apologized.
After successfully overcoming his shock, Aaron looked up at the source of the voice.
"No..........Damian?" netra Aaron wide.
"Aaron?" the hitman was no less surprised. "Hey. Sorry I walked while looking at the cell phone."
"Yes, it's okay. When did you come home? I guess the assignment this time was for a year."
Damian looked around. "We'll talk somewhere else. Are you busy?"
"No, let's go to the hospital cafeteria." Damian asked.
The two young men also walked together.
"Are you sick or visiting someone?"
"Gustaf was injured, he was hit by material when he saw the apartment building construction project."
"Which room is he being treated in? I'll see her later."
"Ranap VVIP Pomegranate. He's sleeping now." Aaron explained.
The two of them sat in the corner of the quieter canteen while ordering some juice.
"So, was there a problem during your assignment?" ask Aaron after they've finished ordering.
"No serious problem." Damian looked at his best friend calmly. "I was shot in the back."
Aaron tensing. "How are you doing now?"
"I've improved. That was the last check." Damian smiled as the waiter delivered their order.
"What's going on?" aaron continued after the waiter left.
"We are conducting joint patrols in the red zone. At that time a convoy consisting of 4 cars was attacked by rebels. Just a small group, but since their preparations were quite mature, we were a bit overwhelmed." Damian siphoned off the juice before continuing the story.
"I was shot while shooting a soldier from Country A who was shot in the shoulder. It was then that I got shot." He smiled in remembrance of the incident.
"I was repatriated through the consideration of the leader who was there. After arriving, I received treatment. You know for yourself my mother, she can't stop crying."
"After my condition improved, I resigned from the force. It was also because of my mother's insistence." Damian massaged his temple, the resignation actually made him disappointed.
"So what are your activities now?"
"Stuck behind a desk, just like you." Damian laughed cynically. "From the beginning my parents didn't agree to me entering the military academy. So the incident was used best by them to persuade me to want to lead the company."
"Mama said they've been following my will to be a soldier, so in this second chance of my life, I have to follow their will."
Aaron laughed crisply. "At least you've felt how to live your choices. Pity your parents anyway. After your sister was killed while hunting down the rebels, do you think they'll be able to accept losing her son again?"
"Yes, you're right." Damian smiled at Aaron's babble. He raised his face to look around. At that moment he caught the shadow of a woman he missed. Her lips covered the sweet smile, but slowly the smile faded away as she found the woman was not alone.
Damian moved from his seat, Aaron noticed the movement of his friend. He even followed Damian's eye. As Damian suddenly steps away, Aaron follows after first paying for their drink.
Damian and Aaron were already behind the two people Damian kept staring at. Their distance now allowed the two of them to hear the conversation of the person in front of him.
"Stop crying, I told you. I will take responsibility for you and the fetus." the man in front of them was persuading the woman beside him. From behind it is seen occasionally the woman's hand rubs her face, perhaps wiping away tears.
"I beg you, stop crying." the man stopped both of them. "We're in the spotlight, if we want to cry later in my car or apartment."
"Vienna." said Damian slowly.
The woman called Vienna was surprised, with a slight jump she turned her body.
"Billy!" Aaron rebuked the man who had earlier persuaded the woman after the man turned his body.
"Aa-Aaron." the two men looked shocked until the small envelope Vienna was holding fell out of his hands. Fill the envelope out when it hits the floor.
Damian lowered his head to look at the photo paper coming out of the envelope in an inverted position. It quickly picked up the thing and then flipped it over. Black and white photo with various terms on the edges. But the round shape in the center of the picture explains everything.
Damian smiled a cynical smile, he looked at Vienna whose face turned as white as cotton. The woman's body even seemed to tremble.
"Congratulations on your pregnancy" said Damian flat and cold. "I went on a state errand, with the threat of death in sight. And you're here on a human mission, apparently. Mission filled the earth with men." he revealed a cynical smile.
"Da-Dami...."
"Every break I look at your picture. Increasing my vigilance while on duty because there is a beloved wife candidate waiting for me to come home. It turns out...." Damian laughed heartily.
"Sorry Da..."
"Enough!!! There's no more connection between us." Strictly and coldly Damian cut Vienna's speech.
"Thank you for getting rid of the caterpillar from my life." Damian looked at Billy with a scary grin. Then he deliberately walked in the middle and nudged the two of them. Vienna broke into tears at Damian's words.
"I'm waiting at the mansion this afternoon. If it doesn't come, then Edward's gonna drag you down." actually, Aaron really wanted to beat up his cousin. But there are pregnant women near them and this is a hospital environment. There's no way he could do it.
Gegas Aaron chasing Billy, he was afraid his best friend was doing something dangerous. Aaron saw Billy walking towards the edge of the highway.
"Where are you going?" asked Aaron after he stopped Damian's steps.
"Come away!" answer Damian's origin.
"You didn't bring a car?"
"No, I was taken by the driver. My back isn't comfortable driving alone."
"Follow me, I'll take you wherever you want."
Damian is silent, he appears to be considering Aaron's offer. Then he nodded and followed Aaron.
"Sorry, I didn't expect my cousin Billy to take your girl." Aaron opened the conversation when they left the hospital.
Damian smiled miris. "Don't apologize to me, you didn't do it. He's not your brother anyway." Damian knew the story of Aaron's grandfather when he was a teenager.
"Why didn't you just beat him up?"
"Didn't I ever tell you?"
"Yes, but it's too easy to just let them go."
"No Ron! Nothing is easy. I'm afraid that if I follow my emotions, I can finish them off right now." Damian stared at the window expressionlessly.
Aaron nodded his head. "So where am I taking you?"
"Go home, I have to tell my parents to cancel all the plans that have been drawn up."
"Can I stop by? I'm afraid auntie didn't get this news well. Who knows you need power."
"Of course, I really appreciate that. Thank you very much." Damian looked at Aaron.
"Yes, you're welcome." Aaron patted Damian's shoulder slowly.
That's right what Aaron was worried about. Mama Rara seemed devastated by the news of the Vienna affair. He was crying looking at his son. Damian escapes death, gets a second chance to live, but is betrayed by the girl who will become his daughter-in-law.
Suddenly Mama Rara fell unconscious. Luckily, they were all sitting on the couch, reducing the risk of other injuries. It seemed that this marriage annulment really shook the middle-aged woman. Damian and Vienna's wedding will be held in one month.
"I'm the betrayed, the fainted mama." Damian shook his head to see his mother after calling the family doctor.
