Love Heals Wounds

Love Heals Wounds
57. Imperious

The four girls were resting after exercising while venting their irritation. More precisely the frustration in Nabila and Audrey's heart, because the other two girls just want to spend time together.

"I don't think Rebecca's been dead for a long time." Isabela said as she looked at the photo of the woman affixed to the Dart Board. Visible holes dart arrows in all parts of the photo.

Audrey looked towards Isabela's gaze with a faint smile.

"I used to practice while imagining one day killing her with my hands." the girl stared at the photo and her hands in turn.

"It turns out he died at the hands of others." Audrey smiled miris.

"Rockey is an unexpected factor and unthinkable to us." Nabila came to see Rebecca's photo.

"Who would have thought that day he would lose his wife." Yura's voice was heard from earlier he just focused on his phone.

"You okay, Drey?" Nabila looked at his best friend closely.

"Yes." answered Audrey sure.

"You spent dozens of years hating him, filling your heart with thoughts about his actions. When he leaves there must be a sense of loss in your heart." Isabela looked a little hesitant at Audrey's reply.

"Not really." Audrey smiling. "Because I met my grandfather and grandmother who had opened my eyes, heart and mind, and the Saka family who gave a new perspective on avenging the evil deeds of others."

"Therefore I slowly began to take Rebecca's name out of my heart. I can't forgive him 100. But at least my heart is no longer controlled by him. So I don't feel emptiness after the one I hate disappears from the face of the earth."

Yura smiled hearing that. "Yes, because if you still hate him so much, you'll be devastated when he's dead. For the purpose of your life has been lost, bringing your heart which is filled with him."

"Sounds like a kasmaran." Isabela.

"Indeed. Because when we hate someone so much, we will continue to think about their actions. We will automatically remember his face and name. Whether you want to admit it or not, but that's the fact." Yura looked at Isabela as she explained.

"Is that how you feel, Drey?" Isabela looked at Audrey with great curiosity.

"More or less like that. Thinking about his actions every time, until carried away by dreams. His face was even very clear when I closed my eyes. My life goal is to take revenge on her." Audrey lowered her head, a mocking smile visible. He was laughing at himself.

"I never thought then, if my life goal had been achieved, what would I be next." Audrey suddenly looked up. "You should have known that, right? That's why you don't want me to hate Rebecca so much."

"Just guess the direction, just this time heard directly from your lips." said Nabila lightly.

"True, you've never told me in detail about how you feel." Isabella added.

"The "psychiatrist who treated us also warned him. Your injuries are too deep, so the grudges will be harder to lose." Yura smiled gently.

Audrey looked at the faces of her friends in turn and smiled.

"I'm sorry I used to be so angry with Papa when I asked me to forgive Rebecca. Forgiveness helps a lot. Especially not turning me the same as Rebecca and not losing my way of life when that woman died."

"Parents always have a purpose when they ask us to do something. And it's certainly for our good, too." Nabila.

Audrey stood up and walked towards the Dart Board. He took off Rebecca's photo and threw it in the trash.

"Let's go home." she asked as she turned to the three girls who were staring at her.

Audrey looks busy arranging flowers. He is currently in Mita's flower shop to help Nabila. Mita and Bram still want to spend time together after a week officially becoming a married couple.

"Excuse me, I want to buy a bunch of red roses." there was a voice of a man talking to Nabila.

"All right, wait a minute."

Audrey did not pay much attention to the buyer because he was still busy arranging. When he was finished and about to turn around, he recognized the man who was looking for the rose.

"Sister Billy?" Audrey rebuked the young man who was playing his cell phone.

Billy looked up and was surprised to see who called him.

"Oh, you look." said Billy with an awkward smile.

"How's Vienna doing?" audrey asked without further ado. "His bandage is visible?"

Billy's face changed, Audrey could see the sadness there.

"We lost our future son" he replied, looking down.

"I'm sorry, I don't know." Audrey felt guilty.

"It's okay." Billy smiled thinly. "It's karma because of our bad deeds."

"Me and Vienna are fine. Because I'll still be responsible to her even without the baby." Billy looks very sure. "I told you I'd turn good, so I kept my word."

"But, Arneta, he's.."

"I checked my health and that of Vienna. We're safe." Billy immediately cut off Audrey's words because he understood the direction of the conversation.

"Thank God." Audrey smiled, just as Nabila had come bearing flowers.

"Please pay at the cashier" the girl said as she handed him a bunch of red roses.

"All right, thank you." Billy nodded. "I'm going to Audrey."

"Yes, greetings to Sister Vienna." Audrey smiled at Billy.

"You know him?" Nabila looked at Audrey in surprise.

"Yes, he's Aaron's cousin."

"And Vienna?"

"Oo, Vienna is his future wife. And that woman is Kak Damian's ex-wife." Audrey calmly said so. He wanted Nabila to know this first.

"How can I be an ex?" Nabila wants to know.

"Sister Vienna cheated on Brother Billy when Brother Damian was assigned to country K."

Audrey's reply made Nabila just nod her head.

"That's all?"

"What do you mean?" Nabila knitted her brows.

"Is that just your expression when I talk about your future husband?"

"I don't care about his past. Not because I like it, but because I don't care about it. I still reject this matchmaking." said Nabila flatly.

"It makes sense." Audrey was holding her chin.

"Blessed to be you and Yura. Will marry the young man you love."

"Learn to accept and love Brother Damian."

"No, I don't want to fall in love with that proud young man." Nabila looks upset.

"Because he doesn't acknowledge your abilities?"

"Yes, I hate that."

"Are you acknowledging his abilities?"

"What's Drey for? I'm better than him."

"You think Brother Damian is arrogant, but you're the same. Proud, consider yourself better than Brother Damian." Audrey stared cynically at Nabila.

Hearing that Nabila could only giggle amusedly. Audrey's words are true. He was confused as to what else to deny it.

"No need to search for a sentence of denial. You've already lost a landslide." Audrey could read Nabila's mind.

"All right, all right." Nabila was upset.

Audrey smiled amusedly looking at Nabila's expression.

"Eh, next week Isabela's ballet performance is yes" said Nabila when accidentally saw the desk calendar near them.

"You're right." said Audrey after following Nabila's point of view.

"Geez! I almost forgot!" audrey exclaimed while hitting her forehead. "When, I'm sorry I couldn't help until the store closed. I have to get to The Jewel."

"What business is it?"

"I don't know either. Aunt asked me to come, she said her brother-in-law and niece wanted to see me."

Nabila smiled. "It's okay, I get it."
