59. The Cry of the White Goose

The day Isabela was waiting for has come, tonight is the time for Swan Lake. A love story that is full of miracles even though it ends tragically. Isabela looked at her face in the mirror, she looked graceful with the simple makeup of the White Goose. He trained his face, then he sighed violently.

He should be able to smile well, staring warmly in love even if only acting. But look, only the look of a sad face is created perfectly. Something that happened the day before the staging made his mind go awry.

Isabella steadied her heart, she was a professional ballerina. As powerful as he is he will not be affected by his problem. The girl came out and headed backstage with another ballerina. The Round of 1 is currently underway.

In the VVIP audience seats, Isabella's friends have sat down with their respective partners. Rangga and Yura, Audrey and Aaron, Damian and Nabila and Leon. Looking back at the stage, Audrey is shocked to see Isabela's face-to-face romance. The girl looked really sad. As Audrey's best friend can tell the difference, Isabela's expression is acting and real.

"Ra, see Isa's face?" Audrey whispered to Yura who was sitting right next to her.

"Yes, it looks like someone is bothering him."

"May all be well, there's only one last round left." Audrey is worried about Isabela.

Audrey's worries don't have to go on. Because in the end Isabela performed perfectly until the end of the performance. A standing ovation filled the Theatre Building as the entire cast performed on stage to pay their respects. A little boy is seen bringing a bouquet of flowers to Isabela, the main character.

Audrey and her friends and their respective spouses immediately moved backstage towards the special dressing room to meet Isabela. Upon seeing the arrival of her friends, Isabella immediately rushed into Audrey's arms.

Audrey was surprised that Isabella was crying. They were silent, no one dared to speak. Long enough Isabela cried, even when Mama Tanu came the girl's cry had not subsided. Mama Tanu chose to leave because she believed Audrey and the others could stop Isabella's crying.

After she died, Isabela pulled her body away from Audrey.

"Sorry to make your clothes wet" Isabela said with a few hiccups interspersed.

"I-I. I was betrothed." replied Isabela stammered.

All who heard that widened his eyes, Leon who had just arrived instantly froze. He looked pityfully at Isabela, moreover the face of the girl looked sad. Audrey was helping to wipe away her tears.

"Who is that young man?" Rangga finally voiced representing the young people there.

"A widower." Isabela only answered briefly, she leaned on Audrey.

Aaron raised one eyebrow. "You're sad to be betrothed to a widower?"

Isabela shook her head softly at Aaron's question.

Isabela shook her head. "No problem brother. Rather than claiming that the virgin is not married, but has often had sex with a previous girlfriend. Used virgin. All the widows."

No doubt all chuckled softly hearing the plain utterance of Isabella. Moreover, the girl replied still with a hiccup. It sounds sad to be set up, but it looks funny.

"Either, I don't know" he replied casually making everyone open their mouths without saying anything.

"You want to choose your own partner but don't know what you want?" Damian suddenly felt anxious with the girl before him.

Isabela turned her eyes to look at Damian, but she was surprised to see Leon standing behind the young man. He quickly overcame his shock to be invisible to others.

"Maybe you think it's fun to choose your own partner. But what if you're already in a relationship you're not even married. She's married to someone else." Rangga took a deep breath. "You're wasting time looking after other people's soul mates."

"Or even the person you think is right, he's cheating." Damian added.

"Absolutely if he's betrothed there's a guarantee he's not cheating?" nabila's voice sounded cynical.

"Not really. But only a fool would cheat after knowing his pain was cheated on." Damian returned Nabila's gaze sharply.

"I'll kill Brother if Brother dares to cheat!" isabela exclaimed firmly and looked straight ahead of her.

Damian was surprised to get such a reaction from Isabela. But after he saw that the deadly gaze was not aimed at him, he immediately turned to look back. Everyone was shocked to see who Isabella meant.

Leon who saw all eyes being fixed on him could only duck and scratch his non-itchy nape. Audrey looked at Aaron to make sure. The young man smiled wryly and looked at his lover warmly.

"So, the jewelry that Audrey designed it.." Audrey turned her eyes to Leon. "for Isabela?"

Leon simply nodded in response. Isabela, Nabila and Yura looked at Audrey in surprise. Audrey understood the meaning of that gaze.

"Sister Leon is Om Ali's son. Aunt Tika's sister-in-law." Audrey explained without being asked. "So Om Ali asked for my help designing jewelry for his future son-in-law."

"Patiently yes, we are lucky." Nabila patted Isabela's shoulder.

"You're still mending Bil. I. got a sow of a sijuk." Isabela pursed her lips.

All who heard that could only hold back the laughter.
