Apologies to Dion

After receiving treatment from his best friend now Arum feels better, even last night he refused when Indhi will return to his home. This morning Arum woke up early and prepared for his office, four days enough time for him to mourn the tragic unilateral love that he had kept for years. Now that Arum is preparing to move forward, his determination has been unanimous to erase his feelings of love, now he will only focus on his career as a lawyer.

When he got down from the room, his arrival was welcomed warmly by his family, at the dining table Arum unusual to see his parents had breakfast together, usually he would have breakfast alone because Fajar now lives with his wife.

Now his parents take time for him, unfortunately Arum already does not need it, because getting used to breakfast alone makes Arum reluctant to join his parents, but Arum, the tomboy girl decided to leave for work without saying a word.

Arum stopped his steps when he saw Dion waiting in front of his house, actually the debate was still the same, only Arum was so hurt by the words of Dion who he thought had abused him. After adjusting his breath, Arum stepped closer towards Dion, his bead only in a puff of anger.

Dion had not been able to string up his words, but last night he had been practicing to apologize to Arum, but now he felt his head was empty and not a single sentence he had memorized came out of my mouth.

" thirty-one, thirty-two," Arum counted the seconds that Dion missed, the man was so panicked that it was no less than half a minute away.

"I love you, too" said Dion in the last second of his time, hoping Arum would change his facial expression after Dion expressed his feelings, but hope did not match reality, arum's face still looked so flat without pointing at the slightest expression.

"Oh," answered Arum very briefly. "It's over, right?" asked Arum and just nodding by Dion, the man was so surprised because Arum looks cute and ordinary.

The sound of the car door being slammed by Arum roused Dion out of disbelief, the girl completely changed. Dion just stared at the departure of Arum's car just like that, he again felt disappointed.

While in the car, Arum observes Dion from the rearview of his car, the girl's facial expression is not readable at all, no matter what she feels now.

"I just want to see how much you love me, brother," he muttered softly before his car actually left his yard.

During a lunch break, Arum went with his office friends to have lunch together at one of the fast food restaurants. Whether it was a coincidence or indeed Dion followed him, they met again at the restaurant.

"Rum" said Dion as the man blocked Arum's steps.

"You guys, I'll follow you first" Arum said to his friends.

"What's wrong?" arum asked coldly, there was absolutely no smile framing her sweet face.

"I want to apologize. I was a coward at the time!" dion said sadly, the man truly regretted his actions.

"Heh," Arum snorted as he lifted his lips, the girl smiling mockingly.

"Aki seriously Rum. I'm really sorry. And for what I said this morning I was serious too, I like you too" Dion continued, trying to persuade Arum.

"Yesterday you said it was just a mistake and now you say it's serious. Why change your mind so quickly? Is it because Fajr kicked you out that time?"

"Yes yes. No one wants to talk about it anymore, right? Excuse me" Arum passed Dion and joined his friends.

"Hate it's you with me," Dion's inner nelangsa, if Arum used to be very excited when he met him, but now it's humming no, the girl might hate him now.

Time spins so fast, due to a few days of leave now Arum has to finish his pending work. Time has shown 10 p.m., but there has been no sign of the girl coming out of her office.

The ringing of the phone paused Arum's activity, the girl smilingly found Vidio's call from Indhi, she quickly shifted the green button and the call immediately connected.

"Hallo" said Arum with a smile.

"You're still in the office? I went home this afternoon, but said bi Nani you work? Are you sure you're healthy?" cecar Indhi with his questions.

"One-one Ndi," said Arum with a smile.

"How are you doing?" ask Ega who was with Indhi.

"It's better, brother," replied Arum. The girl felt grateful for having people who cared so much about her.

"Don't be too forced, if you get sick my time to make you a niece will be reduced" said Ega shamelessly.

"What did you say?" indhi protest to her husband.

"It does. If Arum is sick you will definitely be with him and take care of him. I'm in residence and I can't get...."

Indhi smothered her husband's mouth before the man continued his warm words. Seeing their closeness, Arum of course feels very happy, at least now he does not have to worry about Indhi anymore because Arum believes Ega is the right man for his best friend.

"I'm not going to get sick, so make me a niece who is cute and beautiful like her mamy" Arum said with a smile.

"Arum why even follow along anyway," Indhi again protested.

"It's Rum night. Go home, we want to make ba.." again Ega can not continue his words because Indhi back smothering his mouth.

"It's late Rum, home be careful huh? Or do I want to pick you up?" tawar Indhi who was worried about his best friend.

"I can go home by myself. It's there, make me a nephew. I closed it."

Arum shook his head slowly with a smile, suddenly he imagined Indhi's stomach growing and his best friend gave birth to a baby.

"It must have been very exciting.Oh my God it seems we have grown up. It feels like just yesterday we went to school and took an angkot together."

Arum reminisced about the past, when he first met Indhi when they attended the same Junior High School, since then they became friends and decided to continue their studies at the same High School, they then different campuses because Indhi decided to become a doctor and Arum became a lawyer.

"May our friendship remain forever, Ndi. I'm so grateful to know you and have you."
