"How did all this happen?"
Bardy paced agitatedly, rubbing her chin while clucking. Then, he looked at the window. They are gathered in a room, along with Daisha and Laila. With Aleena and her parents.
The goddess sat with her body still shaking violently. The incident brought him back into shock and he was lucky he didn't fall unconscious. Only, his face paled, both lips slightly turning blue and trembling. He hugged his own body, occasionally rubbing the corner of the eye that had involuntarily cried.
Laila hugs Daisha, Alfin and Dareen sit parallel thinking about events they are not aware of at all.
"What are the guards doing out there? Aren't they smart enough to take care of this kind of thing?" Bardy turned to face the Goddess.
The eyes were red and cross-cut, raining right on the two wet Goddess beads.
"I don't know, I don't know anything about any of this. Really, I did not expect there would be such an event," whine Goddess continued to hug her own body while crying.
Bardy was getting inflamed, the one to blame in this case was the Goddess. Only the Goddess because she made a party plan without deliberation with the family. By themselves, without caring about the opinions of others.
"It's all your fault, Goddess. You should have asked the opinion of all the families before taking action. What's wrong with you opening a meeting with us, asking about anything that needs to be prepared for the party. Safety, comfort, everything. I can't figure out what your way of thinking is like," Bardy snapped, her index finger pointing straight at the face of the Goddess who was getting flooded with tears.
The goddess stared bravely at her husband, not taking the blame. He stood up and faced Bardy. Anger clearly peaked, making him unable to think clearly.
"Why do you blame me? You want to know who caused all this, huh? He!" The hand of the Goddess accuses Daisha. Well, he's the source of the problems that happen at the party.
Had he chosen to go home and not stay let alone join the party, the chaos would never have happened.
"He's the one who caused all this mess. He shouldn't be here, he should just go back to his house in that village. Why are you holding him? You were wrong too, Bardy. You're also guilty of letting that unlucky girl into our family!" snapped Goddess thundering over the neighing donkey.
Daisha lowered her head, what other humiliation would she receive. Laila widened, growling furiously to the point that her body trembled violently. No one dared to say that all this time, Daisha was not an unlucky carrier.
"Enough, Mom!" Dareen immediately stood up, Dewi has gone too far.
"What's? Ever since you knew that blind girl, you've been a dissident, Dareen. You refused your engagement to Aleena, even daring to refute Mother," said Dewi still with an overflowing voice.
Bardy clenched her hands tightly until all of the knuckles turned white. Disillusioned. That's what was seen on the face of the old man. After decades of building a household, Dewi is not getting older and think it makes it more powerful and desirable.
Aleena dropped her head in the arms of her mother, playing the role of a weak and easily bullied rabbit. Crying feels betrayed.
"Mom want to know why I refused this engagement? Do you want to know? I'll tell Mom and everyone else who's here" Dareen said firmly.
Aleena suddenly raised her face, agitated and anxious. Fear began to creep in his heart, a secret he kept well alone. Did Dareen know? Nah!
The woman thought Dareen was still amnesiac and had not remembered Aleena as her future fiance. Hoping that as time passed, he would return to remember who Aleena was and accept her as a couple. Not that useless blind girl.
"I'm not making it up, Mother. You need to know, I'm actually just pretending to forget her. Not without reason, I just want to prove that she's a shameless, selfless girl. Not Daisha!"
"Buy!" bentak Goddess.
"Enough! If you don't want to get engaged to my son, then at least don't insult him. Just reject it, don't twist the facts!" Aleena's father was also inflamed, he stood up while clenching both hands.
Dareen turned to him, undaunted at all. She did not feel any loss losing Aleena because Daisha was much better than any woman.
"You also need to know what your daughter's behavior is like, Mr and Madam. She was having an affair behind my back, and was planning something that would break me down after we got married. Do I have to maintain this unhealthy relationship? Nah! I have the right to choose and decide, also refuse to live my own life," said Dareen successfully made Dewi widen his eyes.
The middle-aged woman turned her head, looking at the woman she was proud of as a future daughter-in-law. Aleena lowered her head not daring to raise her face. Really, he was holding back the turmoil at this moment. Shame, disappointment, anger, anxiety and anxiety mixed into one.
"That's not true! Our daughter couldn't have done that. You're just bragging to be able to live with that girl!" push Aleena's mother off the seat while hugging her child.
Bardy frowned displeasedly, she trusted her own son more than anyone else. He knew Dareen never told a lie. Since childhood, Dareen has always been honest even about the treatment of his brother against him. Bardy knew everything and she kept it well. For this reason, the highest power he gave to Dareen even though he was the second child not to Bardy who should have occupied the seat as the first child.
"I'm not bragging. Just ask your daughter, but if she's willing, I don't want to force her. Whether you believe it or not, I don't care. I just don't want to continue the relationship with her and you can't force me!" Dareen.
They froze, including the Goddess. Dareen was not playful, her facial lines were tense with eyes exuding firmness. All eyes are now on one person, Aleena. The woman shook her head while continuing to look down and cry. Not a word was said from the tongue, and did not want to say at all.
The aftermath of the incident, blaming each other. Who will not find the end point of what is happening.
"Stop blaming each other and corner each other. We're all wrong here because it's negligent that the intruder can get into the show. I know, Brother Dareen had a chance to see that guy, right? Just tell us, don't keep it to yourself anymore" Daisha said, opening her voice.
Everyone's view now turned to Dareen, demanding an explanation of what Daisha was talking about the intruder.
"You're right, I did see it. I wanted to chase after him, but I didn't want to leave you alone anymore. So, I called the guards in front of the building to find out about the intruder. Unfortunately, they say they don't see people with the characteristics I gave them," Dareen said, no longer able to hide anything from the girl.
Daisha sighed, everyone thought about the intruder. Bardy even contacted the guards to gather with them.
"It is likely that the intruder was one of the invited guests in the party. He never left the building and remained in the party with a different look. The business world is cruel, anything will be done to destroy its rivals" Daisha said with a cynical smile after ending her sentence.
Everyone turned to him, gurgling spit launched to moisten the drying throat. Still, Daisha's cynical smile was unable to dispel the nervousness within them.
Who is Daisha?
