Mohabbat

Mohabbat
A Life

Dareen, who cried most of the night, fell asleep on the floor with her head resting on the edge of the bed. He is still in their room in Daisha's modest house. I hope his wife will come back and forgive him all his mistakes.

He had already regretted his actions, condemning himself for allowing the Goddess to insult the lover of the heart. Very stupid and cowardly. Daisha has always defended her and saved her from danger, but she is unable to protect her honor. He's weak and helpless.

Dareen looks restless in his sleep, sweat flooding the face to make the sheets become wet.

"Daisha!" mumbled wailing.

Her trembling lips repeatedly mentioned the name Daisha. Calling the wife softly and trembling.

"DAYS!" Dareen awoke from her sleep with a breath of gasp, sweat increasingly pouring down her body.

He held onto a rumbling chest, each time his heart called Daisha's name every time it also felt a tight heart rate.

"What's wrong with my wife? What's wrong with her? Where should I look for him? Where to?" Dareen clutched her hair in frustration.

Back crying in despair, he did not know where to look for his wife. Areta's House? But where is it? He also does not know where the house of the woman who claimed to be Daisha's aunt.

Only crying could she do in their room alone. Wishing Daisha well, and nothing happened to her.

While in front of the all-white room, Areta walked back and forth restlessly. Occasionally biting nails, occasionally playing fingers. His tongue clucked repeatedly, looking up while hanging desperately on the owner of life.

"Lord, save my nephew. I forgot she was just wearing regular clothes. I'm sorry Al, sorry," he muttered while covering his face regretting everything that happened.

Before long, Laila came after being escorted by a bodyguard from the villa.

"Auntie!"

Areta looked up, stretching out both hands welcoming the arrival of Daisha's sister. They shed each other's sorrows, crying over the state of Daisha that the doctor is treating.

Areta took off a hug, rubbing Laila's damp hair from sweat. Both of them cry, worried about Daisha's situation.

"Auntie, where's the big brother? Is brother okay? Tell me, Auntie, brother is fine. You can't die!" laila Pilu's cry sounded.

Areta folded her wet lips from the roar of tears, unable to see the sadness emanating on the teenager's face. Their affection was so great and sincere that there was no brotherly bond between the two.

"No, hon. Daisha is a strong woman, she will not die so easily. You don't stop praying for her, we have to be strong for her" Areta said, smiling with sadness.

Laila nodded while hugging him back. Areta takes the girl to sit down, calming down to strengthen Daisha.

Intermittent, the door of the operating room opens. The doctor appeared while opening the mask that covered his face. He smiled as Areta and Laila approached.

"How is he doing, Doctor? She's okay, isn't she?" ask Areta quickly.

The doctor commented a smile, seeing the reaction of the face they should feel relieved.

"Isn't she Daisha? Alejandro's nephew?" ask the doctor to make Areta and Laila stunned by it.

"Why do doctors know?" ask Areta stuttered.

The man in the green uniform chuckled small, like he was nostalgic for the past. He looked deeply at Areta, looking at her beautiful face, as if they knew each other and long before seeing each other.

"The doctor is not important at this time-"

"Hey, that's important to me!" sela Areta on Laila's speech earlier. The woman snorted at Laila who was widening.

"Auntie, I don't mean it doesn't matter, but for now it's more important than anything else" explained Laila, who quickly awakened Areta.

"God! Right, how's Daisha doing, Doctor?" areta asked, looking panicked again.

"Just calm down, ma'am, she's a strong woman. In the past, even his condition was worse than it is now. I think he'll recover soon, but, um ... is he married?" The doctor looked at Areta and Laila alternately with a frowning face curiously.

"Well, why, Doctor?" sahut Laila is curious.

"Hmm .. he's still very lucky, the bullet didn't hit his stomach. If only ... I don't know what will happen to life in it," said the doctor, sighing as he let loose a heavy weight on his shoulders.

The more wrinkles on Areta's forehead are seen, the more confused she is by the doctors who treat Daisha.

"I mean, Doctor?" Nervous, all presumptions began to dance in his mind.

"Yes, Madam. Your niece is pregnant, and her gestational age is very young. Luckily, her uterus was so strong that the fetus inside it remained in place despite the shock. She is strong just like her mother" the doctor replied with a sincere smile.

The rain cools the travelers in the middle of the desert. The sun that warms the soul in the morning.

"W-what?" Areta shut her mouth in disbelief. Likewise with Laila, they did not expect that the woman was two-bodied.

"I suggest once he recovers, don't let him do the hard work. Otherwise, I can't guarantee the safety of her fetus," recalled the doctor making the pretty face turn towards her.

Areta's tears fell on their own, regret came crashing into the heart. If he knew Daisha was pregnant, he would have locked her niece in the villa's room so she wouldn't be able to get out.

"He's past his critical period, now he'll be moved into the room. You can wait for him there, I'm sorry." The doctor passed by leaving Areta with all the regrets piled up in her heart.

"I'm so sorry. I'm really sorry. I'm sorry, Auntie. Sorry," cried Areta in Laila's arms.

"Already, Bi. It's okay, what matters now is that her brother and fetus are fine. Come on, let's see brother in his room" said Laila half-whispering in Areta's ear.

The two headed for the room where Daisha was being treated. Two bags of different-colored liquid were attached in both of his hands. The woman was still lying with her eyes closed. Resting his body tired because the problem occurs repeatedly.

Areta and Laila sit on the sofa while staring at Daisha. Thinking about Dareen's current state, what if the man knew about Daisha's pregnancy?

"Mm.m ...." Daisha moaning. His eyelids twitching about to open.

The two women rushed to the bed, waiting for Daisha's petals to open.

"Daisha!"

"Sister!"

Areta and Laila's voice filled her hollow ears a moment ago. The eyes opened, slowly and carefully as if he was afraid of not being able to see again.

"Why is everything dark?"
