The scorching heat of the sun this afternoon exactly at 1 pm, the sun is currently hot-hot rising above the crown as if burning skin that is completely charred.
The increasingly brown skin color, darkening like coffee proves how fierce the sun's heat. I'm not poetry but it's an expression of how I'm doing right now but that's not the case. The problem is my friends haven't come to play with me. Usually at this time my friends have come but in fact they have not appeared either because they have not been given permission to both parents or they even moved to play.
The sound of running sounded from a distance. I, who had been painting on dry land with the tip of my index finger, turned to look at my friends who were running towards me.
All right before I go any further I'll introduce my friends to it.
First, the girl with hair almost the same as me was a bit reddish due to sun exposure, her name was Ami, she was the son of Mr. Santoso, the man who owned the rice field that I had seen this morning, he is a rich man. I know that because he has a large rice field, he has a car, a big house and as I said he lives in a house that is almost the same as my house.
Just because his work alone makes him have to stay in that house. Every Sunday he would go to the city and live in a big house.
The second one, the two girls who were running towards me were named and Ririn and Cai. Both are nephews and aunts. Ririn is the niece of Cai, a rather short-bodied girl with long hair who has the opposite personality to Cai.
This Ririn has a softer attitude, is easy to cry and kindhearted whereas Cai has a rather rude attitude and often makes people cry.
And one guy who has a rather tall body also ran towards me, his name is Angga and he has been sitting in 3rd grade school, yes he told me first.
"What other day?" asked Angga who I just arrived his breath still looks dull when asking.
"Why is it too late?"
"I just got home from school" he replied making me nod.
"Then let's play!" invite Angga.
"What are we going to play?" ami asked while scratching her head.
I fell silent, both my eyeballs moving left right thinking of a game that seemed like it would be fun to play during the day. Although the heat of the sun but still if we talk about the game for sure we will not think about the taste of the heat.
"How about we play throw sandals," Cai suggested as he pointed his index finger up.
Bruaks!
The loud noise was heard as I threw my sandals at the pile of sandals that had been arranged to resemble bonfirewood.
The colorful sandal scattering made my female friends, Ami, Cai and Ririn scream while jumping around happily. I was quite surprised why female friends always screamed and screamed like that while me and Angga did not.
I quickly ran as Ami came running. He grabbed the sandal that I threw and ran after me making me run away with all the speed. This time there are two teams, I and Angga, and one team is Ami, Ririn and Cai.
The screams of Ririn and Cai cheering told Ami to embarrass her running to chase after me. As I ran Angga who was behind there hurriedly arranged the sandals to resemble bonfires exactly like a triangle shape. kak Angga managed to arrange the sandals resemble a bonfire or triangular shape then our team will be the winner however, however,
Bruack!!!
"Oh," ringis Angga as he touched the back of his butt which was hit hard with a sandal.
Ami laughed, he was the culprit who had thrown the sandal was of course Ami. I stopped my tracks staring at Angga who for a second then laughed. He grabbed the sandal thrown by Ami and ran after one of their teams for him to throw with sandals.
Ami, Ririn and Cai screamed while running I just smiled making my teeth look I was quite happy to see them chasing each other but, what confused me the most was Ririn, who was really, he was not chased by Angga but he who shouted the loudest and ran to and fro without being chased by anyone, my friend was quite confused.
The more time goes by the lower the distance of the sun that seems to circle the earth and take refuge behind the trees that are now in the afternoon.
Not just one game we played today but after we get tired of doing one game then we will replace it with a more exciting game of course.
The sweat pouring down our faces shows how beautiful the game is today. My cheeks even hurt from laughing too often and of course at the end of the game there must have been crying and the victim who was crying today was Ririn.
No wonder the boy was crying. The girl was crying every day and of course the culprit was Cai. He accidentally pushed Ririn to the ground and finally the woman who worked to make bricks, he said, who was also Cai's mother and Ririn's grandmother who worked not far from the brick kiln barn scolded us and told us to stop playing.
