10. Birthday Party

Chapter 10 MVILY

The real Arthur knows that he was poisoned by Alice, leaving the girl free. He felt it was not yet time to take revenge on the traitorous son of his kingdom. He wanted to see Alice tormented even begging to die alone.

Arthur again lets the girl stay alive and is in the kingdom because he wants Alice to stay close to him for her to torture. In fact, there is a sense of wanting to always be on Alice's side. Arthur would not admit that. 

That afternoon, Queen Samantha asks Alice and Ella to accompany her to Arthur's room. 

"What's Grandma here for?" asked Arthur who was reading on a bed in a room that was often covered with curtains.

"Next week is your birthday and Grandma wants you to start looking for a companion. Grandma will invite the princesses of the kingdom to come. Choose one of those you like!" queen Samantha asked Alice to pour tea for her and Arthur. 

Ella had just returned after being ordered to bring the corn soup she had forgotten to bring. Ella placed it on the front desk of Arthur's couch.

"Arthur, how long are you going to be single? Or maybe you're a same-sex lover, right?" the Queen of Samantha. 

There was a smile on the handsome man's face.

"Nobody will stand to marry me later, Grandma." Arthur chuckles. Put the reading book on the nightstand and then turn to the sofa sitting next to his grandmother.

"You've never tried it, have you?" ask Queen Samantha. 

"I mean Grandma's trying to get married? Marriage is not an experiment, Grandma. And I just want to have a wedding once in my life" Arthur said.

"Come on, Arthur .. You have to get married and have kids. Or you can have children later if you get married soon. The royal council won't let you take the throne if you're not married" Queen Samantha said. 

"Hmmm, yes, leave the position of King of New Silk to the others!" arthur said, pointing a cup at Alice's face to immediately fill with herbal tea water made by her grandmother.

"WHAT?!" 

The scream of Queen Samantha suddenly made Alice flinch and drop the teapot containing the hot herbal tea and hit Arthur's feet.

"Good, Alice!" pekik the queen.

"Sorry, I'm sorry I accidentally" said Alice and immediately grabbed drugs to clear Arthur's blistered skin.

"Ella, call the royal doctor now!" tell the queen. 

"Okay, Your Majesty." Ella hurried over.

"Why, anyway, do you often make nieces?" Queen Samantha is talking to Alice.

"Sorry–"

"Grandmother was wrong too, anyway. He had a small heart and brain so easily surprised," said Arthur cut off Alice's conversation and laughed.

Alice looked at the young man sharply. He was very upset and wanted to tear Arthur's face with the shards of ceramic teapots he was cleaning. However, his view of Arthur seemed to stop time. The face was a laugh that came out. The more it makes the face look handsome.

"Al, I'll help you clean up. You clean the wound on the prince's leg" whispered Ella.

Alice is unaware of Ella's presence and keeps Alice awake from her daydream. Ella handed the medicine box to her best friend.

"D-yes." Alice nodded and said her thanks.

"Ella and Alice, I want you to be in charge of my granddaughter's birthday party. I beg you not to mess up because of you!" the Queen of Samantha. There's a threat tone implied there.

"Okay, Your Majesty." Alice and Ella spoke at the same time.

Queen Samantha then came out of the room Arthur accompanied Ella after the girl cleaned the remaining ceramic fragments. Meanwhile, Alice cleans up the wound on Arthur's leg.

"Is this sick?" ask Alice. 

"Don't be like that, you're scaring me, '" said Alice.

"I want you to be afraid of me" Arthur said, rising to his feet. 

Then, Arthur asked the girl to put her foot up.

Alice gets busy as Queen Samantha asks him to prepare a festive birthday party for Arthur. He and Ella were helped by Bu Rose to choose the menu to be served. 

Alice also contacted the most qualified event organizer in preparing for the royal party. Alice also enlists the help of Uncle Lou, an acquaintance of her late father who owns a fruit orchard. Alice wants fresh fruit. He also hired a famous chef. 

"Are you going to invite the westside boyband?" ella asked enthusiastically.

"Come, El. That's a boyband young people are not special royal guests who are average age and full of authority" said Alice. 

"Then, who's the music escort you're gonna invite?" Ella took a full look curiously.

"Hmmm, it looks like an orchestra group" said Alice.

"Uh, it's boring for sure." Ella is seen grumbling leaving Alice heading to the kitchen.

Arthur's birthday is here. In the evening, the party was held. At the party, Queen Samantha will find Arthur a life partner. Because Arthur never had a girlfriend and thought that his grandson was a same-sex person. 

Alice also heard an ominous rumour about the prince. Arthur doesn't like being at the party. He always tried to avoid girls who wanted to dance with him. Alice watched carefully.

But something surprising happened. Arthur suddenly chooses Alice to be his dance partner. All the guests' eyes were on Alice. The girl wasn't even wearing a party dress. He was just wearing the royal maid uniform. Obviously, he's going to be a spectacle.

"Do Your Majesty want me to stop them?" ask Mark for permission. Actually, he didn't like to see Arthur dance with the girl he'd liked since childhood.

"No, Mark. Let's just see it from here. I want to know what Arthur really wants to show me by choosing Alice as his dance partner" Queen Samantha said.

"Okay, Your Majesty." Mark bowed and stood not far behind the queen.

The party is getting lively and the dance music is still playing. Arthur still dances with Alice. 

"What perfume do you wear, anyway? You smell so bad tau!" cibir Arthur's.

"Don't start, deh, ruining the mood. Just so you know, yeah, I wanted to run. I'd rather run away than dance with you like this" Alice whispered in a whisper and her lips still snaking a smile.

Alice has promised Queen Samantha not to make a mess. Though his beloved grandson who often makes chaos.

However, Arthur suddenly slams Alice to the floor. Alice's screams echoed and made her the center of attention. Apparently, Arthur felt unable to bear the scent of Alice's body anymore. He knocked her down and returned to her room in quick steps. 

"Arthur, where are you going?!" exclaims Queen Samantha but Arthur does not heed her.

Ella approached Alice and helped her up.

"Al, you're okay, right?" ask Ella.

"I'm fine. I was just surprised. Huh, it really sucks that guy" Alice grumbled.
