Chapter 28 MVILY
"Our relationship, Al. The child you bear is my son" Mark said, pointing to Alice's stomach.
Alice stared at Arthur, who was standing and holding her side. He closely watched Alice and Mark.
"Is that right, Alice?" ask Queen Samantha.
"But as I recall .. I only did it with Arthur" said Alice.
"You love me, Al?" Arthur came closer.
"You-you mean?" Alice began to panic and bewilder.
"You love me?" arthur asked again as he turned around Alice slowly.
Alice is still unsure of her feelings for Arthur. It felt heavy for his lips to open and say 'I love you!'. Alice only speaks a thousand languages.
"Our wedding's off, Grandma." Arthur looked at Alice sharply.
The man just left the queen's office. Mark smiled with satisfaction. Alice still couldn't believe how annoying Arthur was. Or he's the one who really sucks.
Arthur foolishly believes Mark's lies. However, emotions began to appear that made him rise apoplexy. Arthur does not believe that the baby in his stomach is the result of his actions. Alice looked angrily clenched her hands together with her shiny irises.
Queen Samantha got on the black and kicked the table. He was disappointed in the woman who was almost made a bride for Arthur. Moreover, Mr. Bernard has just submitted a file about Alice's family.
"It is inappropriate that the descendants of Morgan Smith be part of the royal family. The blood of the traitor is flowing on you, son. It's worth your effort to deceive us and confess that you're pregnant with my grandchildren" Queen Samantha said.
"My father is not a traitor, Your Majesty. I reiterate once again, we are not a family of traitors. Someone set up my father, and I'm sure of it!" exclaim Alice.
He forgot who he was talking to. The overflowing anger caused him to get emotional and even to the point that he dared to yell at Queen Samantha.
"Mark, get him out of here! Take care of this woman and never go back to New Silk!" tell it to Mark.
No rebuttal from Mark's lips. He pulls Alice after the queen drives him away.
"Al, this must be just a misunderstanding" Ella said, holding Alice in custody.
"Ella, you want to get kicked out too? Just get Alice's stuff in my car. I'm gonna get him out of here and we're gonna live happily" Mark said.
Alice just kept quiet and looked down. The clear thread had already dripped down his smooth cheeks.
"Mark, you've got your best friend! You should think of Alice's happiness. Don't be so egotistical!" Ella pushed Mark's shoulder out in frustration.
"I thought about his happiness. Queen Samantha knows who Alice is. He will definitely cancel the wedding. Alice is the son of a traitor" Mark said.
"My father is not a traitor. My father is not a traitor!" alice then could no longer stop her crying.
Ella hugged her best friend tightly. Miss Rose and some servants approached to bring Alice's clothes. The middle-aged woman also sobbed and hugged Alice whom she already considered her own daughter.
Meanwhile, after Alice says goodbye to Ella and Miss Rose, she gets into Mark's car. Alice saw Arthur peeking out of the window of her room.
"Basic fool!" alice muttered looking intently at the window of Arthur's room.
Then Alice got into Mark's sedan. Alice rubbed her stomach slowly as Mark's car drove away.
"We'll be happy, Al. I'll make you happy." Mark touched Alice's hand while driving.
But Alice brushed it off. Mark takes Alice to a villa owned by his family.
"Sorry, Mark, I think let me be alone first. But first thank you for giving me a place to stay. It's just that I still don't understand why you're doing all this to me" Alice said.
"Because I love you, Al. You go first into the villa. I'll catch up" said Mark.

Three days later, Alice had a dream about Arthur. Wherever he stepped there was always a shadow of Arthur who either invited him to talk, just squint his eyes, or greet him.
"Aarrrggghhh! I'm starting to go crazy!" screeches Alice.
Inside the villa, Alice begins to realize that she is in love with Arthur and feels lost.
"It seems, I miss you," Alice said as she stared at the blue sky as if there was a silhouette of Arthur's face there.
"Hi, Al! I'm applying for a job at the police station" Mark said.
"Hmmmm" said Alice.
"Al, come! Being next to Arthur is like preparing to commit suicide!" exclaim Mark.
"Why do you think narrow like that, Mark?" ask Alice.
"A lot of criminals want to kill him so you will definitely be targeted for food" said Mark.
"You mean, a lot of people want to finish Arthur off, I see," Alice asked curiously.
"Of course, Al. And it could even put your life at risk" Mark said.
"Why should I be afraid? Arthur is a vampire. He's not gonna die! The wounds on his body also quickly healed," said Alice who accidentally leaked Arthur's identity.
"What did you say, Al?" ask Mark.
