8. Secret Room

Chapter 8 MVILY

On a hill where Master Luke lives with a brown bear, Arthur meets the man. Luke was cutting wood to make firewood. Arthur tells of a man named Joshua whose family was slaughtered by the lycan.

"Do you believe that, Uncle Luke? There's still a lycan that gets here, is that it?" ask Arthur.

"Okay, but we have to investigate. We also have to be vigilant if there is a herd of lycan to this region," he said.

"The bear is still cynical with me" said Arthur, grabbing an apple from the table and opening the hood of his jacket.

Mr. Luke seemed comfortable in the sun even though part of his body was glowing. Maybe he's used to being friendly with the sun's blazing exposure.

"He's always hated you, Arthur." Master Luke chuckled.

The man asked about Alice to Arthur.

"Don't talk about him, Uncle! I desperately tried to avoid it. I'm just afraid he's bleeding. The smell is very strong. Though I have learned hard to control myself to suck animal blood only," said Arthur meluakan his frustration.

"Aren't we still sucking human blood, Haha." Mr. Luke quits his activities and sits on his porch with Arthur.

"But the humans we're killing are criminals. Alice was just a normal human being and she seemed to be a good girl" Arthur said.

"Of course she's a good girl, and I'm sure in your eyes Alice's the perfect girl. Don't you, Arthur?" Master Luke turned to Arthur in a daze.

"I don't really understand the direction of this conversation" Arthur said.

"Honestly, you've liked that girl since you first met her, right? You always talk about it even though you're unconscious" said Mr. Luke.

He laughed in satisfaction after mocking Arthur as he got up and headed into his house. While Arthur was still grumbling to challenge the brown bear who always followed Master Luke.

Until one day, after Alice memorized all corners of the palace room, she finally found a secret room that was made a storage area for data or important royal files.

Alice finds him while cleaning Arthur's bookshelf in his room. He found a book he accidentally stole. Then open the bookshelf to a secret room behind it. Alice walked down the stairs leading to a room again like a basement. After making sure no one was following, he settled into the deeper room.

The room was very dark and damp. However, when Alice was in the center of a room full of bookshelves, the lighting was lit as if reading a human heat sensor. Alice was shocked by it. The girl then scanned the books and files to find out about the case that befell her father.

"Hmmm, it seems like I can look for data on the events of my father's problem that is considered a traitor. I want to know on what basis my father was called a traitor and we were attacked" Alice murmured, so that she could not feel the clear roundness wet her cheeks.

Alice wiped her tears. Then strengthen yourself again. Although he was deeply saddened by the loss of his family. Alice then found a map with the title "Morgan's File". Sure enough Alice's suspicion was proven when opening the map which turned out to contain some data about her father.

But unfortunately, when Alice was in a secret room and was looking more carefully at the map to find data about her father's problems. Arthur caught.

"What are you doing here?" arthur asked Alice until the girl screeched.

Alice dropped the map. Arthur grabbed it.

"What did you do with this file? Or are you looking for data about my kingdom and selling the data to our enemies, are you?" arthur's Allying.

"Bu-not so, Prince. I'm just. I'm just cleaning up the area here" Alice told a lie.

"Huh, how arrogant this prince is. I told you, I didn't mean to find out about this kingdom. I just want to find out my dad's calm!" firmly Alice.

When Arthur caught him, he took a look at the map Alice was holding.

"Did you know that the file you're holding is one example of a royal traitor?" said Arthur.

Alice's face was burning with flames of anger. It was red and like there was smoke on it. His right hand was also already clenched in fury.

"My father is not a traitor!" exclaim Alice.

Arthur was shocked and could not believe what he had just heard.

"What did you say? Your father's not a traitor? Who's your father?" ask Arthur.

"The man we talked about on this map" said Alice.

After a long silence between Arthur and Alice, Arthur now understands who Alice is. The girl in front of him is the daughter of Morgan Smith, the royal defense minister of security last period, Alice then defended herself by saying that her father was not a traitor.

Arthur only smiled but his facial expression hinted that the young man did not believe and still considered the Jhonson family a traitor.

"If you knew the consequences of your father's betrayal, you'd be ashamed to be his father" Arthur said, drawing Alice's upper arm roughly.

The man took Alice out of the secret room. He pushed Alice's body rough until it fell to the floor.

"ouch!" screeches Alice.

The girl tried to get up. Arthur then attacks her and strangles Alice.

"Do you know what that traitor did, huh?!" peekkit Arthur's.

"Aarrghh, le-let me go!" pinta Alice tried to hit Arthur's hand so that the grip of the burly hand slipped from his neck.

"He made my family die!" said Arthur.

Arthur tried to kill Alice. It feels like lives have to be paid for to be worth it. However, seeing Alice in pain, the young man became heartless. Arthur unconsciously hit Alice until it fell and her head hit the edge of the bed. Alice's forehead is bleeding.

Alice's blood-thinning scent that burst out like a parfume pierced Arthur's sense of smell, even instantly made the man turn his head in the other direction.

Arthur yells at Alice to leave his room. Even Arthur threatened to imprison Alice at that time.

However, when Arthur turned his head, Alice could see there were fangs sticking out at the corner of the prince's lips. Arthur shuts off access to the secret room and stays inside.

"Prince! I'll prove my father's innocence! We're not a family of traitors!" alice exclaimed as she hit the bookshelf.

Behind the bookshelf, Arthur curled up. Indeed, he really hated his father Alice because Arthur thought that the death of his parents was due to information from his father Alice in the Kingdom of West Bloom. Arthur swears vengeance on any of Morgan Jhonson's descendants.
