Chapter 9 MVILY

After Alice hears of Arthur's hatred for her father and even considers Jhonson's family a traitor, Alice is furious.

"What's wrong with you, Al?" ask Ella.

"Arthur pushed me down, nih! Huh, that guy sucks. How rude and arrogant" Alice grumbled, showing a wound on her forehead.

Ella immediately grabbed the medicine box to treat her best friend's wound.

"I thought our prince was cruel. Even I believe in the rumors about the death of his former servant because of him as well. But now–"

"But now why, huh?" Alice stared at Ella..

"I'm sure it was Prince Arthur who helped me. He's not a bad guy, Al," Ella said, sticking plaster on Alice's forehead.

"Aw! Don't be so tight, El! You're just making me sicker" Alice said.

"Sorry, Al," said Ella.

"It's just that I'm increasingly assuming that Arthur could have ordered his men to harm my father's car at that time, right?" ask Alice.

"Prince Arthur, Al. You should call him prince" Ella said.

"I don't care! Anyway I'm upset with him. He could have pushed me this way, " Alice said.

"Maybe because you're bleeding. She must not stand your blood" Ella said.

"Hahaha, you still suspect that the prince is a vampire, do you? You're so silly, El!"

Alice went into her room to break down. Staring at the ceiling, there was a sudden sense of resentment that he wanted to avenge.

"I don't care who you are anymore. My goal here is to restore my father's good name. But, you're getting her good name ruined. If you want my father's family you call traitors or criminals, then I'll take that nickname. Just look at Arthur, I'll finish you off!" alice said to herself in a monologue.

The next day, Alice desperately gave the poison she poured in the grits mixed with Arthur's favorite chicken for breakfast. Alice is convinced that Arthur will die and she will go far away from the fleeing kingdom.

That day Queen Samantha even praised her delicious cuisine. Only porridge for Arthur was poisoned and brought into Arthur's room. Alice asks the Leon Guards if Arthur ate the porridge, and Leon answers yes with confidence. Alice was very happy and very trusting of Leon's words, especially when she had a peek that Arthur was putting a full mouthful of his homemade porridge into the man's mouth. Now, Alice must hurry to escape before she is named a suspect and is huddled in a terrifying royal dungeon.

But unfortunately, Arthur asks his two bodyguards to look after Alice. The girl can't escape. Arthur actually knew that he was poisoned by Alice. But again, he let the girl stay alive and was in the kingdom because he wanted Alice to stay close to him. Arthur becomes curious about the real Morgan Jhonson family through his goofy and reckless daughter. The pretentious and the intrepid girl but in fact she was just a very stupid girl to Arthur.

The next day, Alice was asked to give Prince Arthur warm tea and wheat biscuits in his study. Alice was initially scared and tried to avoid but could not. As he walked into the prince's study, it appeared that Mr. Bernard and Mark and some of the guards were discussing something with the prince.

"Put the food there!" exclaimed Mr. Bernard pointing at the large table where the servants used to put their food.

Alice immediately carried out the orders of the middle-aged man while glancing at Mark who was also glancing at him. Mark smiled at her. The girl stood beside the table. Alice subconsciously did so out of curiosity for the conversation.

"Why are you still standing there? Get out of here!" exclaim Mr. Bernard.

Alice flinched and immediately left the room with a feeling of annoyance. He didn't know that Mark actually wanted to keep him from leaving. However, the young man could not possibly refute his father. Then, Alice ventured to steal the listen.

"So, I hope the security of the village is tightened, and find out about the Lycan. I don't want any Lycan to enter my kingdom!" exclaim Arthur.

"Of course, Prince. We will deploy all troops to explore the area near the forest and also the entire territory of our kingdom. My son will be in charge of the kingdom's security." Bernard patted Mark on the shoulder.

"All right, I'll leave it all to you. You have to do your best for the sake of the kingdom" said Arthur.

"Then, what about the female vampire we found Dad?" ask Mark.

Arthur looked up and looked. He did not expect that there was a female vampire caught in his territory. Why didn't Master Luke say anything, Arthur's mind.

"Are you sure that woman is a vampire?" ask Arthur.

"Of course, Prince, we're very confident. Mark my son, you shouldn't have to ask me about that. Did you know that every vampire found must be sentenced to hang and burn?" ask Bernard.

"Yes, Dad, of course I know," Mark said.

"Wait for what else? Do it!" tell Mr. Bernard.

Mark got up from his argument and resigned. Alice, who heard footsteps approaching the door where she was hiding, immediately ran small and pretended to clean the big royal urn.

"Hi, Al! What are you doing?" ask Mark.

"Hi, Mark! I'm cleaning this up" said Alice lying.

"Oh, so. Uh, how about Saturday we go to the exhibition downtown?" ask Mark.

"Well, you asked me out, huh?" Alice glanced at Mark.

"Hehehe, take it that way. How, you want to, right?" ask Mark.

"Of course I want to." Alice nodded.

"Okay then I'll see you on Saturday" Mark said and left Alice.

Apparently, Arthur and Bernard had seen and heard the talk of Mark and Alice. Bernard looked at Alice intently and deeply expressed his dislike for Alice who was close to his son.

"I want to taste the snack biscuits first, please go to the meeting place with the ministers first" Arthud said

"All right, Your Majesty. Please enjoy your meal" said Bernard, lowering his head and going down the stairs.

"Alice, you taste the food first!" arthur's orders call Alice.

"I? Why the food?" ask Alice.

"What is food that poison?!" Alice was upset to the point of shaking her waist.

"I'm not talking about poison. I just want you to taste the food whether salty or not" Arthur said as if he had just stunned Alice.

Alice realized she was trapped.

"Have you ever given poison?" ask Arthur.

"I-I, I don't understand what the Prince is talking about." Alice immediately went inside and chewed one of the biscuits roughly.

"Well, everything tastes good. This biscuit is also the Miss Rose who made it" said Alice.

"Alice, you heard this, yeah. I'll keep your actions a secret from me yesterday. I hope you won't do it again!" arthur said firmly but in a whispering tone next to Alice's face.
