23. Fear of Ghosts

Chapter 23 MVILY

"ghosts? Are you crazy?! Advanced and sophisticated times like this still have ghosts!" Arthur approached Alice and pulled the woman's blanket to hide her face.

"You yourself what are you trying? In modern times, there are still vampires" Alice said.

"Damn!" Instantly Arthur was slapped by Alice's words.

Suddenly, there was a scratching sound on the window glass that made anyone grieve. Including Alice and Arthur. Arthur pulled down Alice's blanket and hid her face unconsciously.

"Actually you're afraid why not hide here?" snapped Alice.

"Don't be noisy! I'm also monitoring from back here. You better shut up!" pinta Arthur's.

"Curtain! Don't tell me you're afraid of ghosts, are you? You said ghosts didn't exist" Alice stared at Arthur in annoyance.

"Ah, you are this. Let me see first," whispered Arthur did not want to be embarrassed or defeated by Alice.

The man got up and headed towards the window curtain.

"Booooooooo!" Alice deliberately surprised Arthur to make the man jerk and retreat instantly.

"Hahaha, you're so funny! Brave against any creature but afraid of ghosts" said Alice, holding her stomach hurt because Arthur was very funny.

"No perfect person knows! Can't I if I'm afraid of ghosts?" Arthur looked at Alice with a squint.

Alice was about to laugh at Arthur again, but there was another shadow behind the window curtain and moved back and forth. Alice simply pointed towards the window while directly laying down her body and hiding behind a blanket.

Arthur ventured to pull the window curtain and see who the creature was. Slowly his right hand moved forward. His thumb and forefinger pulled the window curtain thin and shifted it slowly. At that instant, the pair of red eyes collided with Arthur.

"Let'soooooo!"

Arthur shouted in surprise. Likewise with the figure behind the window. Alice clearly heard two men screaming. He took off his blanket and found Arthur and Lycan screaming at the same time.

It was ridiculous and made Alice want to laugh. However, he was also afraid of the lycan figure behind that window. Arthur soon realizes that it is not a ghost that surprises him but a lycan.

"Damn! What are you doing here?" Arthur even opened the window and chased the lycan away.

Lycan also did not expect that he would meet the prince of New Silk.

"Prince, where are you going?!" Alice got up and chased Arthur to the window.

"Ah, it's bad that Arthur's up to nothing." Alice Floor grabbed her phone and called Mr. Luke's number which she happened to have saved two days ago.

Alice then saw the nurse-clad female ghost floating outside the window startling her as the curtain opened by itself as if blown by a strong wind.

Suddenly, Arthur returns and surprises Alice. Both of his hands were covered in blood. Alice screamed in surprise.

"Hey, it's me! Damn lycan bit me," said Arthur trying to get into Alice's room through the window.

"Let'soooooooo!" Alice immediately shouted with all her might and immediately frantically hugged Arthur who was standing before her.

"What's the matter, anyway?" ask Arthur.

"So I saw a real ghost. He was wearing a nurse's shirt and then flying over there.

"You don't make it up! What we just saw was lycan tau. I tried to chase him and fight him. But he bit me. Here, look!" arthur said he was panicking, anxious, and scared too.

"A-there, there's a ghost outside of that. I actually saw it" said Alice, who was still hugging the man.

"Not to be discussed anymore! Come on, get back in bed."

"How did you?" ask Alice.

"It's healed." Arthur showed a torn wound on his closed hand again.

Alice rubbed her eyes in disbelief.

"Kok, can?" ask Alice.

"Of course you can. I'm a vampire who can heal my own wounds quickly" he added.

"Why is it similar to the regeneration of a body like an Alien?" Alice carefully observed Arthur's hand.

"Damn! I'm a vampire not an alien!" arthur pulls his hand from Alice.

The man immediately took Alice up to his bed. He then curled up and covered his body with a blanket. The girl's body trembled in fear. Meanwhile, Arthur again calls the sisters to come to the room because the infusion flow in Alice's hand is blocked.

The man let out a long, heavy sigh, then slowly headed towards the window and was about to close the window curtain. Sometimes he was alert to the words of Alice who saw the female ghost earlier. He also shouts when he hears ghosts. However, the sound of something shocking Alice and Arthur instantly made them shout back.

Brak!

"Yahoooooooooo!"
