27. Uncomprehending

Chapter 27 MVILY

Arthur grabbed a tissue and gave it to Alice.

"Thank you" Alice said, staring at Arthur, "Did you see Mark coming? Why don't you just ask her," Alice said trying to be indifferent to Arthur.

"If I could ask him, why should I ask you now? You like it, don't you?" ask Arthur.

"He's just my best friend. I love him only as a friend" said Alice.

There are no more words from Arthur. The man lay down on the sofa and turned towards the body of the sofa. The corners of his lips were pulled upwards and both of his eyes were trying to shut. Arthur felt his dream would be good tonight.

That afternoon, Alice recovered and was allowed to return home. The queen greeted him with a happy smile. He even ordered some servants to prepare a new room for Alice.

"The next week, your wedding party will be held. You have to rest so that your body is fresh and fit at the party" said Queen Samantha.

"Okay, Your Majesty." Alice smiled warmly.

Miss Rose and Ella greeted Alice and accompanied her to the room. They also did not expect that Alice would be part of the royal family of the New Silk kingdom.

Ella has even prepared a garden party concept that will be festive. According to Ella in a wedding that will be very beautiful later, Alice will wear a broken white wedding dress. Likewise with the bridegroom who will certainly be very handsome.

Ella and Alice then imagine Arthur wearing a white suit themed prince, with a rose pinned in the right pocket looking happy smile.

Alice and Arthur will later hold an outdoor wedding or out door. Then, Ella told her delusion that she would carry the theme of Rustic Wedding. As the name implies rustic, or rural. Rustic wedding puts forward the simple side, blends with nature but does not eliminate the elegant side and luxury in it.

Ella's rustic wedding concept that she described will be dominated by wood elements, golden brown. Then, there will be natural touches such as reeds, various flowers, even synthetic tree roots.

To add a warm and sparkling impression, will be added small lights decoration and hang lanterns in several corners of the venue.

"You're dreaming too pretty" said Alice.

"Heh, listen up! I'm a good wedding organizer" Ella said.

"Hahaha, did you learn where such a thing is? Marry me you've never been, have you?" alice Guidelines.

"Ah, stop! Just listen first. Later chairs for guests also become a detail that is considered. The aligned wooden chairs should be neat. But, it doesn't take much touching. Later I will pin lace or ribbon knots on the back of the chair" said Ella.

Alice smiled in response.

After the two left, Alice observed her new room which was wider and nicer than before. He also laid himself on a more comfortable bed.

"Ah, pleasure…." Alice breathed a sigh of relief.

Feeling her throat choked, Alice went to fetch water from the teapot on a small sideboard in the room by the side of the window. Alice saw Mark standing in the back garden and staring at the window. Alice opened the curtain and smiled at Mark. The man waved his hand. Then Mark moved in. There was a strange look that Mark looked at that instantly made Alice's heart uneasy.

"Why do I feel like Mark is so weird, huh? What will he do to me after his statement yesterday?" Alice monologued to herself as she sipped a glass of fresh water.

Drowsiness begins to attack, either because of the effects of drugs from the doctor or indeed the condition of pregnancy that makes him feel tired quickly. Alice laid her body on the bed and fell asleep.

A knock was heard on Alice's bedroom door. Ella called out to him so many times that it kept the woman awake. Alice hurried to open the door. Dizzy feeling had slipped due to the rush when rising from his bed.

"What's up, El? Why do you look so panicked?" ask Alice.

"Al, this is bad. I think Mark has gone too far" Ella said.

"How extensive?" Alice frowned while staring in disbelief.

"Follow me!" Ella pulled Alice's hand towards the queen's study.

Apparently, there were already Mr. Bernard and Arthur who were standing looking at Mark. Alice saw him from the open door. All eyes were on Mark including the queen sitting in her chair in front of Mark.

Alice accidentally hit the foot of the table where the urn was and almost dropped it. Alice and Ella hurriedly saved the urn before it broke apart. Now all eyes were on Alice. Queen Samantha invited him in.

"Alice, can you tell me the truth?" ask the queen.

"Honesty about what, Your Majesty?" Alice really doesn't understand.

"Al, admit everything like I've confessed everything" Mark said.

"What am I supposed to admit, Mark? I really don't understand" said Alice.
