Chapter 4 MVILY

"Don't yell, someone will hear our conversation" Ella whispered.

"So, did that waitress die by the river?" ask Alice innocently.

"Don't start, you idiot! Anyway, there was a girl found by the river. But, my boyfriend said he found a bite of a wild animal on the girl's neck" Ella said.

"Your boyfriend? You got a girlfriend?" Alice looked at her best friend.

"He, Will. Our new city police chief. Not officially, anyway, just getting close." Ella looks excited to imagine the man of her puja.

"Huh, you're overconfident! Uh, if the girl died from a bite by a beast? What does this have to do with Arthur?"

"He was his servant. My mom said she was stressed out too until she disappeared into the woods and allegedly committed suicide. So, you have to stand up to our prince" Ella warned.

"I still don't understand what that has to do with." Alice continued her entry.

An hour later, the porridge was finished. Alice asks Rose's mother to keep her identity hidden from Morgan Smith. The girl then met Queen Samanta who accepted her as a royal servant.

The queen was staring at her son's painting with her little family. Alice remembers the Queen telling her about King Adam and his wife and daughter who died in an accident a year ago.

"Sorry, Your Majesty, this is finished porridge" said Alice.

"You take it to Arthur's room, yeah. Make sure it's okay. If you escape her screams and anger later, then you will work as her personal servant" Queen Samantha said.

"But what if he gets angry?"

"That's a challenge for you to overcome" Queen Samantha said.

"Huffff, I'll try."

Alice almost hit a man 170 cm tall, fifty years old with graying hair and mustache, a slightly distended stomach, and a rosy and glutinous face.

"Don't you have eyes, huh?!" snapped it.

"Of course I have, these are two. What Master does not have and cannot see?" Alice challenged back.

"You're this–"

"Bernard, forgive him. After all, the porridge was also not spilled," said the queen.

"But he almost dirtyed my expensive clothes, Your Majesty." The man named Bernard who was actually Mark's father looked at Alice sharply.

"Nearly new, right? What's the matter you want to see me?" ask the Queen.

Bernard approached the queen. Engage in deeper conversations while Alice leaves. The girl then stepped into Prince Arthur's room on the second floor.

Today, the New Silk Kingdom is ruled by Queen Samantha, her grandmother Arthur.

Arthur is being groomed to become a king with the help of Mr. Bernard Adams, his father Mark. Bernard replaced his father Alice's former Minister of Defense. However, the man was not a good accomplice to Queen Samantha, so inner Alice was.

Two guards stood in front of the stairs leading to Arthur's room.

"You who?" ask one of them.

"Hello, I'm Alice, the new servant of Prince Arthur," the girl replied, showing her maid's name tag.

"Oh, so it seems. Put him Lou!" tell the servant who is higher than his partner.

Lou escorted the girl to Prince Arthur's room. They climbed the stairs to the next floor. Climb the stairs with trembling hands. He hoped that his congee would taste delicious and be liked by the prince. A large door with a size higher than the door generally welcomes the girl. The image of a lion's head seemed to split open as the door opened.

"Please come in, Miss!" said the guard.

"Thank you, Mr. Lou," said Alice.

The girl rushed in. The room looked dark and light-less. Until a beautiful rose-shaped room lamp scatters its light, it surprises Alice. The girl now found a man sitting on a long, silk chair in the room.

Alice believes she is Prince Arthur. The girl, who had her hair puffed like a ponytail, tried to observe closely until she remembered one day in an accident that claimed the life of her family.

Alice sat there while still standing.

'Duh, does he still remember that day, huh?'

Alice was still pensively observing Arthur.

The girl was still staring at Prince Arthur getting deeper and deeper. His face looks pale. With a powerful jaw that increasingly showed his cold demeanor. The man's athletic body was exposed because he was wearing a black robe like a cameraman with gold thread. Alice swallowed the saliva in her mouth.

"Why are you here? Isn't there anyone else who brought food here?"

The heavier sound that is sexier in Alice's sense of hearing is getting crumpled at that time. The girl still didn't budge.

"You heard my question, right?" Arthur got up and approached Alice.

He watched the girl closely. A fine stroke on the man's forehead is visible, a sign that he is thinking more seriously when observing Alice who is also observing him.

Alice was still staring at the prince without even blinking. Deep in his heart, he praised the good looks of Prince Arthut, the future King of New Silk at that time. The girl was unconscious until she was amazed in front of the prince.

"Huh, you like to see my handsome face!" Arthur patted both hands and made the girl flinch. Moreover, his voice snapped before Alice's face.

The girl was shocked and dropped a tray filled with porridge in her hand.

"Hey, what are you doing!" peekkit Arthur's.

"Eh, I'm sorry I was so accidental. I was going to ask you to taste my congee, ", Alice said as she cleaned up the broken bowl on the floor.

However, his hand accidentally hit the broken plate to make him injured.

Arthur then hissed and moved to the corner of his room. He even sat down curled up and covered his face.

"Is the Prince okay?" ask Alice who tried to get close to Arthur.

"Stop! Stay right there! Don't come any closer!" peekkit Arthur's.

"Ta-tapi–"

"GO AWAY FROM HERE! GO!" snapped Arthur.

"I'll leave after I clean this up" said Alice. He wiped away the blood that began to drip from his right index side.

"GO! GET OUT OF HERE!" Arthur even started to rile and run amok.

He even pelted Alice with a vase of flowers on the nightstand beside her.

"What is this, anyway?" muttered Alice.

Two guards entered Arthur's room.

"What did Miss do?" ask Lou.

"I'm cleaning this bowl, but the prince is angry" said Alice.

"Take this woman away now!" exclaim Arthur.

Lou pulls Alice's hand out of Arthur's room. While the other guard named Anton cleaned the fragments of the porridge bowl earlier. He called Ella to clean up the rest.

"I never thought I'd bet with Anton until when you'd stay here, uh haven't been scolded for a day" Lou said beside Alice.

"Mr Lou thinks I'm fired, do you? See, I'll prove I'm not fired" Alice said.

The girl went into the kitchen. He sat down in front of Ella thinking why Arthur had history on him. His hand was injured.

"Oh yeah, wasn't he shot, huh? Why was her body okay, huh?" muttered Alice.
