CHAPTER 11 - The First Day of the New Semester

Vanya sat curled up on her bed all night. He was still terrified considering the incident earlier this afternoon. Suddenly his phone rang exactly at twelve o'clock.

Vanya picked up her phone. In the phone, a male voice called Vanya. Vanya answered the phone from the man with emotion. The one who called him was his ex-girlfriend.

"Do you want to call at this hour? We have no relationship anymore!" vanya was upset.

"Don't turn off Vanya's phone! I ... I'm sorry. Can we forget the events of that time and go through the relationship as usual?" Leo said with no idea of his embarrassment on the phone without realizing how hurt Vanya was when she saw her lover with someone else.

"Huh? Do you think all women will be attracted to you again even if they have been hurt by you? No Leo! Don't ever think I want to continue our relationship again!" Vanya then turned off her phone connection because she could not bear to hear Leo's annoying speech.

"Haaah .. What else would he call me? It's midnight like this again. I'd better just block all his contacts," Vanya let out a long sigh of inexhaustibility as her ex suddenly called her again.

Time has shown twelve o'clock past. However, Vanya has not gone to sleep because she still feels scared. Unknowingly he fell asleep after the time showed at four in the morning. Suddenly the phone rings again. Now the time on the wall clock has shown sixty-thirty in the morning.

"What are you up to?" ask your friend from the phone.

"Aaaahhhh! I just woke up Cilla. Why why?" asked Vanya while massaging her forehead to wake up from her sleep.

"Don't you remember today's first day of lessons in the new semester?" pricilla shouted from the phone.

"What's? Did ya? What time is it now? Aaah .. I really don't remember it," Vanya shouted frantically.

"Wake up there quickly! Don't be late! I'm waiting for you in front of the campus gate" said Pricilla, who then hung up the phone.

"Wine! Ahhhh! This was because yesterday I couldn't sleep all night" Vanya then got up from her bed and rushed to the bathroom.

Just a few steps Vanya out of her room, her legs suddenly hurt, "Awww! Ahhh! I forgot my wounds because I had bad luck" he said, grimacing in pain.

Vanya then continued her steps to the bathroom with her foot on the tip. After completion, he immediately prepared to immediately leave for the university where he studied college. He suddenly felt confused. He did not know what to do when walking a long distance later with his feet that hurt.

Suddenly, he remembered the stick he used when his leg was broken. He then took the stick and put it on. Vanya then opened the gate of his house, he was surprised to see the broken glass that was still in front of the gate.

"Aahhh I forgot to throw this broken glass away. I'd better throw it away before it gets stepped on again" Vanya then rushed into her house and picked up a scraped bag. After that, he put all the broken glass and then hung it into the trash.

"It's almost too late to the bus stop. There's no way I can run with an injured leg like this" Vanya said as she looked at her watch in front of the gate.

A luxury car suddenly came to the front of Vanya's house. A man wearing all-black clothes, sunglasses and a mask got out of the car. Vanya was very surprised to see the man get out of his car and approach Vanya.

"What's wrong with your leg? Who did this to you?" asked the man who looked panicked to see that Vanya was hurt.

"Eh? Is this ... Mr James?" Vanya looked at the man with a puzzled look as she saw him wearing sunglasses and a mask.

"Yes it's me. Why are your feet like this? Is this because of your ex?" said James who then took off his glasses while watching Vanya's foot that was stepped next to and using a stick.

"Aahhhh! I'll be late soon. Brother James, excuse me first" cried Vanya, who suddenly remembered that she was going to be late.

"Look, I'll take you. Let me help you walk!" said James who suddenly carried Vanya.

"Eh? Tu ... put me down! Shame on my neighbor, brother. Brother doesn't have to carry me all," cried Vanya in panic because James suddenly carried her."

On the other hand, a man noticed the activity that Vanya was doing. This morning he happened to see James pick up Vanya and carry her into his car. He then reported the incident to someone via his phone.

"Hallo Miss Jasmine. It turned out that the girl was still not deterred either. He still dared to approach Mr James" the man told a woman on a phone call.

James sat Vanya in the front seat of his car. He then closed the car door next to Vanya's seat. "Why do I feel like someone is watching over Vanya's house? Nevermind! Later I will have some people to watch over Vanya's house secretly." muttered James.

James took the wheel. Along the way Vanya looked at James with a hateful gaze. He was upset that James was doing something to him.

"Why are you staring at me like that?" ask James while looking at Vanya for a moment and then focus on driving back.

"Haahhh .. do you like to treat girls? I'm so grateful that my brother would take me. However, you do not need to do further actions such as carrying me earlier" said Vanya with annoyance.

"I'm just helping you walk fast. Do you want to be late to your college on the first day of the new semester? You haven't answered my question either. What exactly happened to your leg?" ask James again to Vanya.

Vanya was silent as an answer to James's question. He refused to tell me about what happened yesterday. James just looked at her with a worried feeling.

"Alright if you don't want to say it yet. But don't be too much of a burden on your mind. If you need help, I won't hesitate to help you" James said softly.

"Why is this guy so good to me? I feel bad for saying rude to him. Do I really have to obey orders according to the letter?" inner Vanya while looking at James who was focusing on driving.

"Why do you keep looking at me like that? Do you like me?" asked James who knew Vanya was looking at him while smiling ignorantly.

"What's? How could I have liked you in such a short time." replied Vanya while turning her face away from James while blushing in embarrassment.

James's car has now reached the gate of the university where Vanya studied. Vanya then got out of her car and did not forget to thank her. James simply returned a thank you from Vanya with a sweet smile. Vanya was embarrassed to see James smiling at her. James then immediately spurred his car to leave Vanya in front of the university gate.

Vanya then walked with a cane to the campus gate. His best friend was watching him in front of the campus gate. However, he did not realize his best friend was watching him. Vanya also continued to walk into the campus while walking slowly.

"What a great one! Vanya Apride was delivered by a man in a luxury car with his leg now injured. Did he hurt you?" said his best friend as he approached Vanya from behind.

Vanya then looked towards a voice that was familiar to him. He was so surprised to see his best friend suddenly behind him, "Eh? Why are you there?" ask Vanya.

Suddenly, a beautiful and slender woman approached Vanya who had just arrived. He then denounced Vanya for using a stick. Then, he suddenly snatched the stick that Vanya used to walk.
