CHAPTER 18 - A Joint Vacation

James remained silent after hearing Vanya's words. He did not give any expression nor speak a word or two. Then, he suddenly leaned his head on Vanya's shoulders. His face looks very tired now.

"I think I really like it. Being scolded by him I really could not say anything but silence and express my heart through body language" James said.

"I can't bear to scold her like this. Although whatever the creature's true identity, but he must also have feelings. I owe her my life twice. If he was a merman would I be able to accept it. "I can't stay overnight if we leave until night because we still have to work. If at any time during the day there is only about two hours," explained Vanya to James.

"Huh . . . Can't you take a day off?" lamented James was sad at not being able to spend much time with Vanya.

"Even day off I will be in trouble later because I do not have money for daily supplies in the future" replied Vanya.

"If I give him money, maybe he'll think I'm degrading him. However, how can accept me if we only spend two hours. Well, then I'll figure out a way to make our vacation time last longer" James said.

Then James left Vanya's house. Vanya immediately closed the door of his house to hurry to clean up and immediately rest. Outside Vanya's house, James sees one of his subordinates watching Vanya's house without Vanya's knowledge. He then walked up to her.

"Edward! Why didn't you lead your men to protect Vanya? He almost got hurt. Luckily I came at the right time and was able to save him," James asked his subordinates with a face full of anger.

"That . . anu . . . earlier we intend to attack him, Boss. However, we lost quickly to those of you who had advanced first. We went into hiding so that Miss Vanya would not be suspicious" Edward replied nervously.

"If you and your men make a mistake one more time, I'll totally fire you" James snapped.

"Good, Boss. We promise we won't make any more mistakes?" edward answered, lowering his head.

"Good then! Don't just talk! Prove that you are worthy to work for my security organization!" james exclaimed as he walked away from his men and headed for his car.

The weekend has arrived. On this sunny Saturday, James invited Vanya to go to the beach of San Diego to see the beauty of the sea. Vanya gets ready first before James arrives. Suddenly the phone rings. It turns out that Vanya got a phone call from her best friend, Pricilla.

"Ehmz! Cie . . .cie . . . who wants to go for a walk. Umz! Umz!" goda Pricilla is on the phone.

"What hell! You are also looking for another girlfriend! Don't miss the singles!" vanya exclaimed to her best friend.

"Yes yes . . . later I will find another as handsome, as rich, and as careful as James Haolin," replied Pricilla.

"Are you with James Haolin? Let me be with someone else later" said Vanya suddenly.

"Yes, you can't! He's mine!" Vanya.

"Haha! Now you admit it is yours. A few days ago you said no and you wanted to be just a fan of it" pricilla teased Vanya again.

Suddenly, James's car grazes Vanya from his front home. Vanya immediately talks to Pricilla that James has picked her up, "Please, yes! James has already picked you up" said Vanya.

"Don't forget to ciu*an on the beautiful beach lips, yes! It's romantic, haha!" pricilla Goda.

"What the hell? I won't do it again! It's been, yes, Sil," Vanya replied as she hung up her phone.

Vanya walked out of his house carrying a small bag that he carried on his back. James had been waiting for Vanya in front of the gate of his house, "Let's go! So that time is not wasted," James exclaimed.

Vanya and James then entered his car. James drove his car to the beach in San Diego. It only takes half an hour to get to the beach from Vanya's house.

They got out of the car. James wore his sunglasses so that no one would recognize him that it was James Haolin who was a public figure. Vanya ran ahead of James because he could not wait to enjoy the view of the beach.

"James come here! Come quickly," Vanya took along while running.

"Haha! He was running around like a man who rarely went to the beach. Hmm . . . by the way . . Since when, yes, we became closer like this until he called my name. Though, a few days ago he still called me big brother," muttered James as he walked quickly to follow Vanya.

Vanya is now standing on the beach, he is looking at the beautiful sea view of the city of San Diego. He wanted to take some pictures to make a memento. Then, Vanya pulled out her phone from inside her bag.

"James can you take some pictures for me?" ask Vanya while giving her phone.

"Hmm . . . okay. Let me take a picture!" james replied while picking up Vanya's phone.

Then, Vanya also stood on the beach with small waves. James gave the code to have Vanya ready to be photographed, "One . . .two . . three . . . ." "Gam!" the sound of Vanya's phone camera is ringing.

Suddenly, there was a big wave coming towards where Vanya was standing. Vanya immediately ran towards James, "Aaa! There was a big wave" cried Vanya in panic. Unexpectedly, Vanya's legs stumbled across a rock and fell to the point where James's body and their lips collided.

Brug!

James did not waste the rare opportunity that came his way. The lips that he had always hoped to kiss, were now in front of him without a cent. He immediately kissed Vanya's lips in front of his lips. Vanya was very surprised because James suddenly kissed her.
