"My nose!"
"I'm sorry, Tristan." Zareena just closed the door and locked it.
Tristan saw that, then cursed. He pushed the door a few times. "Zareena, I'm hurt. You have a lot of heart."
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean it, I thought you were Brian." Zareena exclaimed from the door.
Tristan swore again. "Brian, Brian again. Right now, I'm gonna finish him off. You'll see that man in the hospital."
"You crazy?"
"I don't care."
Zareena brought her ears closer to the door, and she heard the footsteps of Tristan's shoes that were gone. "I'll have to call Brian then."
The phone I was looking for went nowhere. Zareena had to throw away the blanket to find it. He called Brian immediately, but the man did not pick him up.
"Where, anyway, he?" Zareena looked upset.
Then, he grabbed his jacket, put it on, then stepped towards the door. Tristan must be stopped immediately. Zareena doesn't want a fight between the two.
Zareena pulled the door. He was surprised. "You're still here?"
"Because of you!"
Zareena was unable to dodge when Tristan directly pushed her in. Closing the door, then locking it.
"You don't want to be responsible. Look at my nose!" Tristan pointed at her nose which was slightly giving off a red stain. "You broke him."
"I didn't hit you too hard. You don't make it up" Zareena protested.
"You can see for yourself."
Zareena snorted, she walked towards the kitchen drawer, picked up the first aid medicine box. "Take this and treat your wound. Then get out of here."
Zareena was surprised to hear that. "Your bar is so good. You know where I don't like Chris. We even spent time together."
"Of course from Chris. I'm talking to him."
Zareena throws the medicine box, which Tristan immediately catches. "Go from here. I've been responsible for giving you medicine."
"If it's because of Lily, I can't forget, doesn't mean I love her, right? She's the woman who was in my life."
"I don't want to be in a relationship with a man who's been entangled in his past." Zareena gave the code that she did not like Lily, even though the woman was gone. He was jealous because Tristan loved him so much.
"Everybody has a past, Zaree. Why are you torturing me like this?" Tristan said shrewdly.
"You're not being honest with me. You even made time to remember your time together with him. I don't want to be compared, Tristan. I don't want to be Lily's shadow."
Tristan shakes. "Did I ever say that? Did I mention Lily's name in front of you? When I slept with you, did I ever call out his name? You are you. I realize who the woman I want is."
Make peace with the past, maybe Zareena should do that. But, he did not want to make this so easy for Tristan.
"I'm asking you to go, Tris."
"I don't want to." Tristan quickly refused.
"Sup to you. I don't care if you want to go or not."
Zareena took off her jacket, and laid herself on the bed. No matter where, Tristan slept, as long as the man was not nearby.
"I'll stay here" said Tristan.
"I don't care, just don't get on the bed." Zareena just threw a pillow on the floor.
Tristan picked it up, and he could only watch Zareena curled up in a blanket behind him.
