As Tristan had expected before he set foot into Valdo's house. His best friend was reluctant to accept him, even Valdo resolutely kicked out before his step into the house. However, Tristan's deaf ears kept him in front of the house.
"Otherwise, Tris? Not enough to embarrass my family." Valdo looked at Tristan. That look implies disappointment towards his best friend. "Don't tell me you're sorry because it can't make it all back. You better get out of here!"
"I'm disappointed, Valdo. You know, Zareena didn't say anything when we were together. I told him that he was mine, and hoped we would stay together" Tristan explained.
"Together? Then, as what?" Valdo questioned that. "You mean you want to be with my sister without any strings attached, while you still love your lover?"
"I realized it, Valdo. I'm in love with Zareena. I want him by my side."
Valdo smiled bitterly. "For you this is easy, Tris? You still don't realize what you're doing? Want to put where my family's face is? You humiliated us. Now you go."
"I'm going to see your parents. I'll take responsibility for what I've done."
"Sup to you. I don't care what you're gonna do." Valdo dragged his foot into the house, then closed the door.
Tristan exhaled a rough breath, he looked once more at Valdo's residence for a moment. Wishing her best friend out, then apologizing to her.
However, Tristan had mistakenly guessed. That can't be happening. Valdo will never forgive him before he takes responsibility for what he did.
Tristan drives a car to a hospital. At one point, Chris was a surgeon because Valdo gave invitations to say so. He had searched the internet for Chris and the man was indeed on duty at one of the London hospitals.
Arriving at the destination, Tristan asked the receptionist. Chris isn't on duty tonight, but it'll be on the noon schedule tomorrow. Tristan then asked for a place of practice or address from the doctor, although he got a suspicious look from the administration.
"I'll just ask for her phone number then. There's something important I want to say. Please help me." Tristan tried to persuade, for him it was not a problem if just a phone number.
Two missed calls. Tristan did not despair, then he tried for the third time, and finally missed. There was a voice from across there.
"Hello!"
"Chris, it's me, Tristan! I was the man who messed up your engagement yesterday."
The silence that Tristan heard. The voice he had heard just now had not said anything else. Then Tristan spoke again.
"I want to meet you. Coffee shop street St. StuartFarms. I'm waiting for you now. I hope you'll see me."
"I didn't promise to come" said Chris.
"I'll keep waiting for you there."
Phone disconnected Chris. Just the breath that Tristan breathed. Chris comes or not, he goes to the coffee shop. At least Tristan will wait until the store closes if Chris really won't come.
The car drove to St. StuartFarms. Until there, he immediately ordered hot expresso coffee, then he deliberately sat on the outside while waiting for Chris.
After 15teen minutes, the man who was waiting did not come. However, Tristan has not been reluctant to move from there. As determined, he would wait until his coffee shop closed.
