The nervousness struck when Zareena and her husband were in front of the Calmington residence. Zareena has also contacted Valdo to meet him at their parents' home to make an important announcement for the family.
"You scared?" Tristan held his wife's hand tightly.
"More to nervous. Yeah, I'm afraid this marriage isn't sanctioned. You are too, right?" Zareena looked at her husband.
"Maybe more of an unpleasant feeling. Whatever it is, we'll just face it. Come on, let's go in. I have already arrived here. No way to go home again."
Zareena nodded. "Come, we go in and deal with whatever happens."
The two stepped together towards the front door. Zareena knew that her parents would have been waiting, only that they had deliberately made it so dramatic.
The bell is pressed twice. The door was opened by the waiter. Nah! Already Zareena guessed that their arrival was awaited.
"Miss is awaited" said the waiter.
Zareena just nodded, then stepped in with Tristan. Valdo, Mary and Henry were sitting in the living room.
"Father!" Zareena.
Henry got up from his seat, then hugged Zareena. "You're back, honey."
"Yes, with my husband." Zareena replied while simultaneously informing her status.
"What does it mean husband?" Mary looked at her daughter.
"Sit down first" said Henry, "come on, Tristan. You too."
Tristan landed on the sofa followed by Zareena beside him. Valdo still refuses to rebuke his best friend. He turned his face when he accidentally collided with Tristan.
"Master, Madam. I want to make a confession. Zareena and I are married" Tristan said.
"Married without us? You took our daughter without consent." Mary was getting angry.
"I know that. I love Zareena. With great sincerity, I married her. You guys take it easy, we're gonna have a wedding. Of course with family tradition."
"The problem is not that. Are you good for my daughter?"
"You can't forget your ex." Valdo opened his voice.
"I forgot his love. Let Lily be a memory of a part of my life in the past. Now the present and the future of my life is with Zareena" Tristan said.
"Here Mary, Valdo. Zareena and Tristan are married. What else do we want. They both have become husband and wife." Henry tried to make everything come to terms.
"Why are you defending him? Tristan has put our family to shame." Mary still seemed to be in disbelief for the events of that time.
"And Tristan married the disgraced woman. They're already married. As parents, we only give our blessing. Your daughter's an adult and she's entitled to her own life."
"Mama, I love Tristan. That's why I accepted him as my husband" Zareena said.
Mary snorts. Yes, he must accept the situation. Zareena and Tristan are married.
"Just plan your wedding. Must be luxurious and invite many people."
"I'll make it happen." Tristan.
Valdo looked at both. "Congratulations to you both."
"You still mad, Val?" Tristan did not forget that he had to persuade his best friend.
"I'm just disappointed in your attitude."
"I know, and I'm sorry for that."
"Valdo, I'm happy with Tristan." Zareena.
Valdo smiled at his sister. "It's been seen when you're crying over that guy."
"You agree, right?" Zareena.
"There really is a choice? I have to agree, right?"
