Apparently there was a note left by Zareena inside the chocolate box. An apology for what he said on the night of the engagement party.
Tristan just smiled then tasted one chocolate made by his best friend's sister. Sweet, same as Zareena. If this chocolate is the grumpy woman, then Tristan happily ate it to the end.
The phone dialed the Zareena number Tristan got from Valdo. Waiting for a while when finally the call was raised and Zareena's melodious voice sounded.
"Who?" ask Zareena.
"You gave me chocolate to persuade me?"
"Tristan!" from the phone, Zareena's voice sounded shocked. "You've got a parcel from me? How's it feel?"
"It feels good, but we're not going to talk about it. You think a box of chocolates can apologize to me? You're dreaming, Zaree."
"I think I'd better not give you a chocolate and an apology. Oh, I'm innocent. You started it first" said Zareena.
"Now you want to pull your words?"
"I've been guilty of saying a sentence you deserve. Coming home from the party I thought that it would hurt your pride ...."
"My worth is hurt, indeed" Tristan cut off before Zareena finished her sentence.
"I made you chocolate until three in the morning and asked Valdo to deliver it. Then you called to say if I'm sorry you didn't? You think I feel guilty? I admit that I'm sorry now. You are indeed a man of no level to be with me" Zareena recounted.
"How dare you!" hardik Tristan's.
"It's a shame that delicious chocolate must be eaten by a mouth that can not say thank you. I was in vain thinking about a man's self-worth because he had no self-esteem."
"Shut your mouth, Zareena!" bentak Tristan's.
"I don't think anything matters anymore. Have a good day, Mr. Tristan."
Zareena disconnected the phone first. Tristan grumbled, his teeth churning with his hands throwing the phone against the wall.
He took a deep breath and then exhaled slowly. Several times until his anger was a little relieved.
"Silence Tristan. You have to be patient with that sharp-mouthed woman" he told himself. "I'd better have some fun tonight. I'll call Stacy. I haven't spent the night with him."
Tristan is looking for his cell phone. He sure put that thin sailing phone on the table. However, in an instant, the device disappeared from his sight.
A woman wearing a knee-length skirt and a blazer opened the door. Seeing Tristan bewildered, he knocked on the door to be allowed to enter.
"Excuse me, sir," Demi, Tristan's secretary, said.
"Oh, come in, Demi. Please help me find my phone. Holy hooch! The phone was on the desk, but it disappeared. There's no way that phone has legs, right?" tristan.
"Relax, Sir. I'll help."
Looking around at the end, Demi found the phone lying on the floor with a broken screen.
"You made the phone break" Demi said.
Tristan closed his eyes when he realized he had thrown his own cell phone against the wall.
"It's because of the girl" Tristan said.
"You want a new phone, sir?"
"You take care of that and make sure all the data is on the new phone later" Tristan said.
"Okay, sir," Demi said, then put the file she brought to Tristan's desk first before heading out.
Tristan grabbed the chocolate Zareena gave him, he picked up a few chocolate bars, then chewed them simultaneously. At least chocolate can get rid of his anger.
