Sadness was evident in Naomi's gaze as she left the cake shop. In his mind, he thought of the cause of all places rejecting his job application.
In fact, Naomi has a lot of work experience if only limited to servants. In the past, he became a waitress in cafes or restaurants.
"Bruno, what do you think keeps them from giving me a job? Should I change my appearance a little?"

A smile puffed up perfectly on Adrian's lips after receiving a report from Bruno. The look of satisfaction is so real in the image of his face when he thinks of his wife, who may be upset by his actions.
Adrian laughed a little. Then open the photo gallery on his cell phone. The pair of hazel eyeballs were glued to a plain face that somehow looked even sweeter when it was sleeping. The portrait he took secretly last night, unbeknownst to Naomi.
“Where might I let my adorable wife work out there? I will not give the slightest gap to others to look at you freely.” His fingers rubbed the phone screen, as he quietly rubbed Naomi's soft cheeks at night.
Adrian was still staring at the phone screen when the door of his room was open, followed by the presence of a woman in her 30s who was his secretary.
“You called me, Mister?” ask the woman.
Adrian instantly woke up. Turn off the phone screen and put it back on the table. Replacing the stupid looking gawky face earlier with a flat and cool face as usual. “Iya, Tina. I'm in need of your help.”
The black haired woman smiled, then chose to sit in a chair right in front of the boss. “What help, Mister?”
“In a few days I want to make a welcoming party for my wife. Please contact a professional event organizer to prepare it.”
The marriage of Adrian and Naomi has not been made public. Only a few people knew, including Haylea.
“Do not pretend to be surprised. I'm sure you already know,” Adrian said still sounds relaxed.
The secretary looks excited. A surprised expression made Adrian grin. “Ma-sorry, Sir,” said Tina lowered her face.
“It's okay.”
“But, is the time not too sudden if it is held in a few more days?”
“I don't want to know. Prepare everything as I ask.”
“Good, then .. I will immediately contact the event organizer.”
“I want a luxurious and memorable party to welcome my wife.”
The woman smiled again, although the surprised look was still very clear in her face.
“Of course, Mr.” He put some important notes into a small book that he always carried everywhere. “What are other extras?”
“That's it. Go back to work.”
“Good, I'm sorry.” The woman bowed her head respectfully, before finally exiting the room.
Adrian grinned meaningfully. The trap certainly did not miss. As Haylea's best friend, it's certain that Tina first got the news that Adrian had married his former lover's former servant himself.
However, Adrian did not care at all, because now the most important thing for him is Naomi.
