Unlike usual, where after breakfast Adrian will immediately leave for the office. This morning was a little different, he was enjoying a cup of coffee with a newspaper in hand. The knocking of the door succeeded in dissipating Adrian's concentration. Followed by the appearance of two servants from behind the door.
“You call us, Sir,” ask the butler who just came in.
Adrian's gaze turned to the two women who were bowing their heads before him. “Yes, I want you guys to do something.”
“Good, Mr.”
Adrian folded the newspaper in his hand, then put it to the table. “Mathilda and Layla, I will assign you both to serve Naomi only. Don't let him do any work. So, the whole day before I get back, you'll be with him. You guys understand?”
The two women in white combination navy uniforms glanced at each other for a few seconds, before looking down again. “Understand, Sir,” answer them simultaneously.
“One more time, report the slightest thing to me, including if my mother does anything. Don't worry about salary, because I'll raise your pay.” Adrian's words developed the servant's smile.
“Thank you, Mr.”
“Alright, if it is clear, you can exit.”
After the woman's departure, Adrian sipped the remaining coffee in the cup, then went out. Bruno seemed to have been waiting in the middle room, but Adrian instead moved his body towards the stairs. It is predictable that the man will say goodbye first with an angel in his life.
Upon entering the room, Naomi appears to be playing her mobile phone. Didn't even hear Adrian's footsteps.
“What's wrong?” While staring at the phone screen. “You're not chatting with other men, right?”
“No, I'm reading a novel online.”
“Novel online?”
“Iya. I got a notification that my favorite author, ANARITA, just released a new novel. I was curious and wanted to read it.”
“Indeed his story of what?”
“Uh this is funny. We have a little something in common. If I get the husband of the prince of hell, the main character in this novel even get the husband of the mermaid prince.”
Adrian patted his forehead hearing Naomi's words that seemed to be able to paralyze his senses. He immediately glanced at the timepiece that was coiled in his hand.
“I will sue the writer named Anarita because it has made you hallucinate reading his novel.”
Naomi throws lips. “You read that's why you said that. I'm sure if you read it, it'll be as addictive as me.”
“Already, Darling. I have to leave now.”
“Oh yes, I've ordered Mathilda and Layla to serve you. So if you need something, you just ask them.”
“Good.”
“Sore I'll pick up, yes.”
Again, Naomi nodded. This afternoon he and Adrian will consult a doctor. Because a few days ago while still in the city of Bradford, an appointment with a doctor was forced to be canceled because Adrian had to attend a sudden meeting with several investors.

.
“Can we talk to you for a minute, Mom?” Adrian approached the mother, who was enjoying a glass of juice by the pool that morning. It is her favorite place every morning.
“What's up, Son?”
Adrian sat on a wooden chair. Look at the mother who seemed reluctant. Looks like the rest of the debate last night still leaves a sense of annoyance. It's not softening either.
“I just want to ask Mom to accept Naomi as part of our family. Naomi is a good woman, Mom .. and I love her.”
“Mother can't, Adrian,” he said steady. A glass of juice in his hand he put it back on the table.
“Alright, then I have no other way.” He paused his words with a breath. “I will buy a new home and bring Naomi and grandma.” Adrian's words make mommy jerk. Followed by a frown at the end of his eyes that looks deeper.
The middle-aged woman's breathing sounded heavy. “I can't believe this. My own son dared to threaten me just because of a woman.”
“Not threaten, but give option. Next, it's up to Mom,” Adrian said casually. Leave his seat and go.
