Adrian felt limp in his joints and found Naomi lying on the floor with a pale face. As fast as the gust of wind, he immediately grabbed the body of the wife. Hugging and kissing her forehead over and over again.
“Naomi wake! What happened.”
Adrian's face is paling now. It is like losing his ability to think due to excessive worry. Bruno, who was on the doorstep, panicked.
“What's wrong with Miss Naomi, Mister?” Bruno crouched down on the side of Adrian who was holding Naomi's body. Wanting to check his pulse, but urung he did remember how possessive his master was. Just staring can't, anything else touching.
“Prepare the car, I want to take Naomi to the hospital,” Adrian orders.
“Ba-good, Mr.” Bruno got up and rushed out. Run fast to the parking lot.
Adrian is still trying to wake Naomi up by patting her cheek, but there is no response in the slightest. Finally, he chose to carry her out.
Everyone stared questioningly as Adrian came out of the woman's toilet holding his wife. Mother also looked curious, but chose to remain still in her seat.
The unpleasant surprise tonight made it seem like it was losing energy. He even refused to look at Erica who had been whining for forgiveness.
“Quick, Bruno!” adrian shouted impatiently. “Why are you slow to drive once?” The speed of the car that seemed slow to him made him angry. Her trembling hands rubbed the top of Naomi's head that was on her lap.
“It's also fast, Mister!” Bruno stepped on the deep gas pedal which made the car go faster. Overtaking a number of vehicles that crowded the streets that night.
Occasionally he glanced back through the rearview mirror. For years as Adrian's personal driver, he had never seen his master as sweet as he was now.
.
.
Almost thirty minutes spent Adrian walking back and forth in front of a room with a glass door. Every now and then he peered through the glass window, even though all that appeared from there was only the curtain of the barrier.
“You want to drink something, Mister?” tawar Bruno's. He thought Adrian would need a drink to calm him down a bit.
Adrian did not reply and instead chose to sit next to Bruno. Exhaling in frustration while grabbing hair.
“It's my fault. I shouldn't have taken Naomi there,” she said ruefully. “She must have been very scared to meet her brother.”
The recording of the incident was reflected in Adrian's mind. Naomi was definitely in shock to learn that her brother was a presumptuous man who had dared to sleep with Haylea.
Bruno was equally surprised, when a few days ago Adrian told the reason for leaving Haylea and chose to marry Naomi. Also the plan is to avenge Haylea and capture Ken.
“Master, did Miss Naomi think you would take revenge on Ken through her too?” Bruno.
“You will always threaten Miss Naomi to return her to Madam Leova's club. Isn't it natural that she has negative thoughts?”
Adrian did not dismiss Bruno's allegations. She used the name Madam Leova to threaten Naomi. And evidently, the threat always managed to subdue Naomi.
“I'm not that crazy until I want to return it there. I did it so Naomi wouldn't go again.”
“But Miss Naomi doesn't know that, does she? I'm sure Miss Naomi fainted from fear with your threat.”
Adrian's breath sounded heavy. “I'll explain everything after he wakes up.”
A few minutes passed with the silence of Adrian. He realizes his mistake, which always gives Naomi a threat.
Did he really think I was going to get him back there?
The door of the room opened with the appearance of a doctor. Adrian left his seat.
.
.
“How is my wife? He's fine, right?” adrian asked shortly after entering the doctor's office.
The doctor smiled kindly.
“Patients are okay, just need a lot of rest. Hormonal changes that are quite drastic in early pregnancy do make pregnant women easy to stress.”
Adrian nodded his head while breathing a sigh of relief. The effect of worry makes him less able to understand the explanation of the doctor, so that all he digested was the word is okay.
But then he realized when he remembered the one word that made his pair of hazel eyes buy.
“What, pregnant?”
