"And Adrian left me only because of a cheap girl like her!"
Instantly the room was boisterous by the voices of the guests present. Some whispered to each other, some were just sneering with their gazes.
"Basarly a cheap woman! She used all means to seduce Adrian and marry him." Haylea pointed at Naomi full of anger. The corner of his eyes was wet with tears.
Naomi glanced at the mother-in-law and Erica who showed a surprised face. Either they were really surprised or just pretended. He can't guess.
“Naomi!” The heavy voice that had just called made Naomi who was still in the arms of Adrian lowered her head, her body trembled, and Adrian could feel it.
He would have collapsed had Adrian not supported his body.
“She is Ken Claire, her sister Naomi,” Haylea said. “Ken, will you explain to Adrian and everyone who is your real sister?”
Ken nodded, then looked at Naomi. “Everything Miss Haylea said is true. Naomi is my sister and worked for Madam Leova.”
Ken approached Naomi. His hand stretched out to grab his sister's arm, but of course Adrian did not give a gap. He pulls Naomi behind his back as a form of protection.
"Keep your filthy hands away from my wife." Although Adrian's voice sounded quite relaxed, it sounded quite scary to Ken.
Even so, there was one thing that astonished Naomi. Adrian was calm. Whereas in the previous meeting, Adrian beat Ken blindly like he wanted to kill.
But now, what happened was just the opposite. Adrian did not react. It was like letting them humiliate Naomi.
“Adrian, now you know who he really is. Do you want a woman like this to be your wife and daughter-in-law in the Marx family?”
For a moment Adrian's gaze was on the mother. The room was slowly quiet with Adrian silent.
While Erica chose silence and hid a smile of satisfaction. Now he felt he had managed to kill two flies in one pat.
Adrian glanced at Bruno and gestured with a glance. The man with the misty hair swiftly walked to the corner of the room with Adrian's cell phone in his hand.
Haylea and Ken's show is over, it's time for Adrian.
“You should seek the right information first before speaking in front of everyone. After all who exactly is a cheap woman here?” Adrian took a deep breath while staring at Haylea and Ken. He grins meaningfully.
Haylea's forehead looks deep wrinkled. As if he was digesting the words of his former lover.
“Indeed, Naomi Claire once worked for Madam Leova,” cut Adrian fast.
The mother who heard Adrian's words covered her face with both hands. Shame on the guests.
“Then why did you marry a woman like her?” he was so angry and disappointed.
"Already, Mom. Calm down." As usual, Erica will play the role of an angel who calms the woman down. He rubbed his shoulders and asked him to sit down and give him a glass of water. A sweet gesture that made Adrian pull the corner of his lips.
Adrian glanced at the corner of the room. Bruno gestured by brandishing his thumb, which meant that everything was ready.
“Naomi got to a place like that because Ken Claire who just came out of prison could sell her own sister for money. Because he lost gambling, and to pay off debt for the dirty business he lived,” explained Adrian stabbed Ken with a sharp gaze.
Suddenly Ken's face turned pale when he realized the danger signal. How could the man who had married his sister know about the drug business he was in? And he did it very carefully.
End you two! inner Adrian.
“I was the one who had bought Naomi from Madam Leova right after Ken Claire sold her.”
Both Ken, Haylea and Erica flinched.
Adrian again grinned when the picture on the big screen has changed. A brief impression that succeeded in electrifying the entire room. How not, the video of a woman who was wrestling in bed with a man is displayed very clearly.
Haylea and Ken instantly paled. How not, their faces look very clear in the body wrapped in blankets on the 30-second show.
"Don't think I don't know what you're doing behind my back" he said still in a relaxed tone.
Haylea lowered her head and no longer dared to look at Adrian.
"Now it's clear who the real cheap lady is here."
