Adrian comes out of the bathroom and sees Naomi standing in front of the window. Naomi silently gazed towards the back garden which presented a beautiful view with fluorescent lights.
Adrian approached and put his hand to his stomach. He buried his lips on the back of his neck until the woman shuddered. Amusedly.
“Not going to sleep?”
“Not yet.”
“What do you think? You usually go to sleep quickly. Are you looking to preserve life again?” goda Adrian kala felt Naomi's response was flat.
"Not really. I'm running energy-saving mode."
Adrian turned Naomi's body. He gasped when he saw a puddle of tears in his wife's eyeball.
“You're crying?” ask her with a worried face. “What's up, tell me.”
“It's okay. Looks like my eyes just got dust.” He rubbed the wet end of his eyes. Then take off Adrian's hand that was coiled around his waist. “I'm thirsty. Take a drink first.”
“You're here, let me have them bring it for you.”
“No need, it's already night. Maybe they're asleep,” reject Naomi.
“Then let me get it. Aren't you running energy-saving mode? Going down the stairs will make your energy drain.”
“It's okay let me alone. Grandma says pregnant women should not be lazy to move.” Naomi stepped on her back to Adrian and exited the room. Makes Adrian peck in place.
