New World: The Donpa
The Outcast Native

Before the arrival of Meldanova, vampires who were the original inhabitants of the Outcast land, they lived growing and developing like humans in general. Vampires who are not afraid of the sun, they grow together with the sun. What distinguishes vampires and humans is only in their fangs, except for their ancestors who have a pair of black wings on the back, like bat wings.

Unlike in most stories, vampires in the Outcast lands do not transmit viruses or spread populations based on their bites, instead vampires almost resemble humans, they mate and develop like humans.

Donpa, trapped in the midst of the vampire crowd, tried to put up a strong resistance, but his efforts were in vain. The vampire's physique was much stronger than his, until he lay helplessly staring at a sword pointed at his head.

"Stop ...!!!" Shouted Lupus to stop the vampire attack on Donpa.

With a different sentence, Donpa felt that the screams of the woman meant to end the dispute between them.

"Huh .. hah ...." Donpa breathed in exhaustion while facing the vampires.

From the left side of the screaming woman, Donpa saw Ririn step forward standing parallel next to the woman.

"It's okay Donpa, they're treating me." Ririn's condition began to improve, after getting treatment by the vampire nation.

"Heee ...?" Donpa who was confused by what the vampire had done was as if he could not believe Ririn's words. "Didn't he bite you?.

"No, they're removing the poison that's inside my body." Ririn tried to explain what the vampire had done.

"While so, sooner or later you will also become a vampire after being bitten. Hiii ...."

"Haha, you're watching too many movies." Ririn tried to explain the details of the matter to Donpa while glancing at Lupus with a smile. "At least, he was trying to save my life by betting poison that would rub off on him as well."

Their showdown closes with a dinner invitation by the vampire elder, Myobu's grandmother.

That night the atmosphere was so crowded in the Ogre cave, the vampires were dancing around the embers of the bonfire, like a group of people who were doing a party.

muttered Donpa while watching some vampires dancing.

Donpa still remembers what happened to him that night. Melkuera border troops attacked him and killed his comrades, especially his lover Rumia.

"You don't want this?" said Ririn sticking out the bread with her hand.

Stammered Donpa refused Ririn's gift.

I don't want anything like that to happen again.

Ririn tries to force Donpa by embracing him and then force the bread into his mouth.

"Ti-ti .. emm emmm..," answered while chewing the food that was forced into his mouth.

"Haha ...." Ririn's laughter saw Donpa choking.

Their dinner was tinged with jest, accompanied by Lupus and Myobu's grandmother.

Thanks to Sylph, Ririn is able to communicate with the vampires, she translates each vampire's submission to Donpa and vice versa.

Donpa who was curious about the previous incident asked.

"No, I mean what happens when you eat my Ensnare?"

"I don't know for sure, when my eyes went dark, my body felt numb." Ririn tried to explain the details of the incident back then. "Until I go into the subconscious to meet with Sylph, she's trying her hardest to get rid of the poison on the fruit you're carrying."

"I also don't know for sure, Sylph was so hard to remove the poison that continued to spread into my body, that myobu's grandmother finally took it out."

Hearing Ririn's explanation, Myobu's grandmother replied. "That's because the spirit that's in your body, rejects the existence of another magic."

"So the fruit on the Donpa is a fruit that contains magic?" ask Ririn.

What Donpa heard and Ririn heard was different, Sylph's role as a spirit that fused with Ririn made her able to understand the language of vampires, and vampires were able to understand Ririn's sentence, but not with Donpa.

"Ask Rin why Lupus would do that" Donpa told Ririn to tell her Myobu and Lupus' grandmother in front of him.

Aided by Ririn, Donpa and Lupus can communicate smoothly.

Lupus seemed baffled as he bashfully answered Donpa's question. "I wanted to help Donpa then" Lupus said, staring at the ceiling as he bit the tip of his index finger.

Feeling like he has not done anything big on the coast, Donpa asks, "Help? It's not like we haven't done anything."

"He .. bu-not that, I followed you from the ruins of the city," replied Lupus visibly puzzled to explain.

Hearing Lupus' puzzling reply, Donpa again asked, "Collapse? That means when we spend the night, you spend the night there too?"

"Haaa .. yes above the building to the right where you spend the night, he .. hehehe ...." Scratching his head like he was covering it.

Donpa grew curious about Lupus in the ruins of the city. "What are you doing in the rubble?"

Feeling her granddaughter being cornered with twisting answers, Myobu's grandmother explained. "Haha ... actually Lupus just returned from the Novajan Altar."

"Novajan Altar?" Feeling like he had seen her, Donpa thought back.

Furthermore, Vipers, creatures that resemble snakes, have a pair of hands and are sturdy, generally they are green and have a pair of wings.

Kukras, creatures that resemble crocodiles, have both hands and feet, and they can stand like humans.
