New World: The Donpa

New World: The Donpa
The mythical creature Chimera

The roar of shouts and roars of unknown creatures added to the mood. In between the hallways, there were footsteps running to and fro hoping for help.

"To-please ...."

While glancing to and fro hoping someone finds him.

"Whoever, help me ...."

From her eyes were tears held back, a worried and confused face passing through the dark passage without any illumination.

Mira, a 19-year-old woman who ran away from her friends.

"Rawrn ...." From a distance came a painful roar of the eardrum.

Mira screamed crying covering both her ears.

"Here, stop ..., please." I wish all this was just a dream.

Whenever the creature's roar is heard, Mira imagines when the creature pounces on her friend. No longer having the courage to run or come back, he chose to sit down and cry over the current situation.

"To-please ...."

I was crying for help.

"Whoever .. help me ...."

Focus switched on Mikaru and Rumia.

"Mikar ..." whispered Rumia while holding Mikaru's arm.

Looking at Rumia's frightened-looking face, Mikaru slowly carried Rumia across another path.

"Come ...." With a small tone Mikaru pulled Rumia's hand running through the detour.

The road was too dark and dangerous for Mikaru to break away to run after his friends.

"Here ...." Looking at the door of the former mall building, Mikaru brought Rumia in.

Sighing after running Rumia asked. "What was that?"

"It's more or less like a chimera, a fictional creature that's in the story ...."

"Hmm ...?"

"Aren't you afraid?" mikaru

"Fear what?"

"Ti-no .. I mean, did you see it?"

"Yes, that's Randy, isn't it?"

"My body trembled when I saw the creature gobbling up my comrade, but the House felt nothing" Mikaru muttered.

"I-iya, that was Randy," Mikaru stammered.

"We'd better get upstairs, then" Mikaru took a look at the stairs in front of him.

Armed with lighting from a mobile phone, Mikaru and Rumia traced every corner of the room in the building.

"Mikaru ...," in a soft tone Rumia called out to Mikaru.

"What's wrong?"

"Why are we here?"

"Outside it's too dangerous, which way they run I don't know ...." Switching faces Mikaru muttered. "More I worry about you, Rumia. I don't know where they are if they've been there too long maybe a similar fate happened to you, I don't want you to why ...."

"There is no need to think of them ...," staring cynically Rumia replied.

"E-uh?" astonished Mikaru saw Rumia's expression.

There was anger held back from the look in his eyes. "They left us and ran away somewhere, that's a fair reply to them!"

"Ruby-Rumia?"

"I don't care about them, why we chase and follow them, and I don't know who they are anyway".

"Never once have I seen a frown on his forehead," Mikaru muttered watching Rumia's complaint.

"At least I won't feel sorry for them."

"When friends at school prank him he always said, yes it's okay, smiling to forgive his friends."

"Fuck them all!" Shouted Rumia.

"Te-pacify yourself Rumia ...," stammered Mikaru holding onto Rumia's shoulder.

"Husuf ...." Rumia looked crying out to her gaze.

"Real ...," Mikaru muttered as she hugged Rumia's body. "His hands were shaking and his heartbeat felt very tight, there was not much I could do but hug to calm him down."

Turning to Sigit and Ririn who were running through the hallways. The narrow streets and lack of illumination, forced them to run cautiously. A moment of sound was heard screaming quite clearly.

"Please!" Shouts from a woman, Sigit and Ririn looked towards the shout.

"Mira!" sigit glanced at Ririn.

Ririn nodded her head as if answering Sigit's question.

The atmosphere was so gripping, as if there was nowhere to run, that was how Mira felt at this moment. While crying sobbing in the middle of the hallway he whispered. "Huhu .. please .. huhu .. please ...."

Flashback remembered a few hours before the disaster happened, he was still having fun with his friends spending time joking around.

"To ...." Not yet had time to say suddenly someone closed Mira's mouth and dragged her into the building right next to her.

"Down your voice Mira ...." Sigit breathless after running.

"Are you hurt Mira?" ask Ririn.

"You-you?!" surprised to see the presence of both of them.

"We heard your screams" said Sigit, stroking Mira's hair. "Are you hurt?"

Brushing aside Sigit's hand, Mira asked "in-where are the others?" Trauma recalled the monster that devoured his friend back to the mind Mira.

From what Sigit noticed, Mira looked frightened to the point of not being able to tell the difference between a friend and a beast.

Ririn's body replied. "Mo .. the monster ...."

Ririn replied, Mira yelled hysterically losing consciousness looking like a madman.

While holding his shoulder. "Mira!" Sigit tried to calm him down. "It's me Sigit, your friend!"

"Abkkhhhh !" mira shouted while ruffling her hair.

Seeing Mira lose consciousness, Ririn knelt down crying over what happened to them.

"No hope, no way out." Sigit took his hand off Mira's shoulder "Crying .. and shouted ...."

Sigit pulled over to the corner of the room and leaned back. "Sooner or later we will die."

Inside the shabby and filthy building the three of them took refuge from the chimera attack. Immeasurable hope on his third face, only to dwell in the room waiting for death to come.

Switching to Mikaru and Rumia.

Rumia looked worried about the wound in Mikaru's hand, from the bandage, blood started dripping out.

"Mikaru, how's your wound?"

"A little throbbing, but it's okay."

"Your blood ..." stared at Mikaru's wound.

"Oh come on, this is okay." Holding Rumia's cheek, Mikaru asked. "From this, how's the wound on your hand?"

"I don't feel pain from this wound." Turn away faces. "I think it's healed." With a gentle tone Rumia replied then hugged Mikaru.

"His body shook ...," murmured Mikaru hugged Rumia.

"Where does this vibration come from ..."

"It's not just me ...."

"She could only hug me, very strongly, I also felt her heartbeat ...."

"I know very well what he is feeling right now ..."

"I'm sorry Rumia ...."

"I'm really ashamed of being a man who can't overcome your fear ...," Mikaru said in her small heart.

The night was so long, there was not much they could do except wait. Whether it's someone who saves or death to come. The roar continued to sound from outside. On the sidelines of the building there was a cry for help. Sigit and Mikaru understood very well the situation back then, empathy was completely unnecessary, fear was overwhelmingly overpowering all feelings, even though their throats were dry, their stomachs were hungry and their wounds were open, he said, not a single bit did they move from that place.

The noise outside the building slowly reduced, a long night had passed, along with the rising of the morning sun. The creature called the chimera returned to their nest.

The chirping of birds in the mornings were melodious, waking up Mikaru who was deep asleep.

Slowly Mikaru opened his eyes. "Mo-monster?!" Willing to stand looking at the window, but held back by Rumia's embrace. "Hmm?" Smiling Mikaru saw Rumia falling asleep while hugging her body.

"Hey .. wake up." With his finger, he pinched Rumia's cheek.

"Hmmm ...." Brushing Mikaru's finger, Rumia continued her sleep.

"Looks, the monster's gone ...."

"Really?" Excited Rumia woke up hearing Mikaru's words.

From between the gaps of the building, sunlight illuminated the room where they rested.

Slowly Mikaru got up looking for a toilet in the former mall building that he occupied.

"Where are you going?" tanya Rumia watched Mikaru walk outside the room.

"Follow!" follow Rumia.

They both walked through the former mall building to find some change of clothes and cleaned themselves.

In a separate room Mikaru took off his dirty clothes, after which he pensively looked at his hardened clothes. "The blood dries like this."

When he was about to wear the new clothes he got, he glanced at his right hand wrapped in a white bandage that had been dull. "I think I'm used to this without the right hand ...." Recalling his hand, slowly his eyes glazed over. "But .. I'm not used to it without you ...." His balance was lost, as the fall of tears he leaned against the wall, then sat down for a while considering the death of his mother.

It is not easy to forget the figure of a mother who has struggled to raise him alone.

"Mikari?" Call Rumia who is waiting for him in front of the dressing room.

"Yes ..," Mikaru answered opening the door.

"You look like you fit into that outfit" Mikaru praised looking at Rumia's appearance.

"Where are you looking in the direction? Mi-ka-uk ...."

"Oh .. haha ...." Shy Mikaru averted her eyes.

"Your wounds?" tanya Rumia saw the wound on Mikaru's hand.

"I can't change the bandages, it's too sticky."

"Let me help you" said Rumia immediately looking for some ingredients to replace Mikaru's bandage.

After a few minutes Rumia gathered the ingredients, she tried to open the bandage on Mikaru's wound.

"Akkh!" yell Mikaru.

"illness?"

"Without being asked you should have known."

Just after some bandages were removed, Mikaru's blood dripped back.

"No Rumia, it's okay." Holding Rumia's hand. "The wound is still not healed, it's best not to remove it first."

"But this bandage is dirty."

"Revelation!" Sontak stood up Mikaru pulled Rumia's hand.

The scarred drops of mikaru that fell to the floor suddenly emitted hot steam, then permeated without any residue on the floor of the building they occupied.

The confused Rumia looked at Mikaru's behavior. "His blood ...."

"Therefore ...," muttered Mikaru staring intently. "What place is this ...."

Switch to Sigit, Mira and Ririn.

Lying on her back weakly Mira said "They've gone ...."

"Hmm?" greet Ririn glancing towards Mira.

Sigit realized the meaning of Mira's words then moved outside the building.

Wanting to pass Ririn who was sitting leaning back, Sigit's trousers were held back by Ririn. "Where are you going?"

Just glanced without answering Sigit continued his footsteps.

This morning seemed calm, so calm that the sound of the wind blowing gently past his ears rang out. With the birds chirping, Sigit watched the sky. "Where ...." The sky seemed to be covered in a thick fog of yellow until the sun did not appear to exist and exist. "Where are we ...."

The townspeople are sucked into a black hole stranded in the land of Outcast. Other parts of the earth that are not touched by humans and are not found in the world map. Outcast mainland is a land that has an area of 3 times that of Indonesia. A land shrouded in thick yellow mist covered the sky.

The thick fog that covered the sky made the atmosphere of the morning feel dusk, Mikaru was silent for a moment in front of the door staring at the sky, while Rumia looked terrified tightly hugging Mikaru's left hand.

"What is this place exactly."

From what Mikaru saw at the moment, many body pieces dried up. "SHould ...."

The remnants of last night's chimera attack got him thinking. "Many traces of blood ...."

Chimeras don't eat whole humans. "But why ...."

They're just shredding like a killing machine.

Mikaru was watching his surroundings, he wanted to try something that could hurt him.

"What do you want to do?" ask Rumia.

"Something confused me ...."

"What?"

After stabbing the broken glass into his palm, Mikaru's blood fell to the ground.

The ground sucked his blood dry and left no odor.

While looking at the droplets of blood Mikaru said "So?"

Confused as to what Mikaru was doing, Rumia asked. "Blood, why?"

"Not only that creature, even this land also seems to suck human blood."

"meaning?"

"Look at the remnants of last night's creature attack, they only kill but the ones who enjoy it are this land."

"I don't understand, what Mikaru means."

"We'd better go where the creature attacked Rama and Randy."

Mikaru and Rumia rushed to the scene of the creature's attack last night, once there.

As Mikaru suspected, the creature did not eat the body of Rama and Randy completely. They only kill and shed as much blood as possible in order to be absorbed by this land.

"Mikaruu ...!!" Shouts someone from a distance.

"Hmm?" Lyrics to the source of the sound.

"They survived?!" answer Rumia.

Sigit approached Mikaru and Rumia "How are you guys?"

"Not too good" Mikaru said as he looked at Randy and Rama's dead bodies.

Ririn and Mira who followed glanced at Mikaru's palm.

"Your hand? why ...?" tanya Mira looked at Mikaru's palm.

"Note" Mikaru said as he squeezed his palm to bleed out.

Sigit, Mira and Ririn stared at the droplets of Mikaru's blood being absorbed by the ground, Sigit who started to approach and noticed the ground where Mikaru was dripping blood. "Droplet again ..," he said staring seriously.

"What happened ?" ask Ririn.

"This land that we are treading on seems to be alive ...," replied Mira

"Mira?" ririn looked at Mira.

"It seems like he has come to his senses from his stress" Sigit murmured.

"It's completely absorbed to the point of being unnoticed," Mira replied as she held onto the ground that was hit by Mikaru's blood droplets.

"We can't linger in a place like this" Mikaru said.

Standing Sigit said. "You're right, while it's still day and the monster's not here."

"Let's get out of here" Ririn asked.

"While bandaging the wound on Mikaru's hand, Rumia replied. "It's best that this wound be treated first".

Still looking at the ground dripping with Mikaru's blood, Mira said. "Where are you going?"

"Of course get out of this place ...." Ririn's spirit answered.

"You know, when I haven't met you guys, I found this, '" replied Mira, pointing at her compass. "One of the bodies was holding it, it didn't show where it was going north, I think it was running for a way out."

"Maybe it's broken ...." Not yet Sigit replied, Mira cut off his words.

"You know, the time setting on your phone and your watch don't work? are your cell phone and watch broken? you see this compass, it moves like confusion?" shouted Mira who looked angry at Sigit while showing the compass he held.

"So that's what made him scream hysterically last night ...," murmured Sigit.

"You see into the sky can you see the sun rising in the tiimur and sinking in the west? do you have any clue which way to get you out of this place?" Mira's loud, angry-looking tone slowly let out tears.

They quietly heard Mira's words.

"We're like cattle that are about to be cut ...."

"We can't go anywhere ...."

Slowly Sigit approached Mira, then hugged her. "I understand how you feel ...."

Release hug Sigit. "I don't need your mercy!"

Confused Sigit saw Mira's expression that looked increasingly angry.

"Use your head to get out of this place, not your arms!" firmly Mira responds to Sigit's embrace.

"There ...," Mikaru said as he pointed towards the mountain that seemed faintly covered in mist. "I don't know what you're fighting about, I'm going there with Rumia."

Mikaru left Sigit, Mira and Ririn.

"Mikaru wait ...," replied Rumia running following Mikaru.

Mount OutCast is the only mountain that can be seen in the fog, why can it be seen even though there is fog. It is because of the way a trapper to snare his prey.

The possessor of the existence responsible for the oddities in the land was none other than the deeds of a witch. The wizard was called the Witch of Ensnare. It was he who created the chimera, it was he who made the place covered in fog and it was he who made all directions unable to work on the land of Outcast.
