New World: The Donpa

New World: The Donpa
Labyrinths

For hundreds of years the land of Outcast was controlled by the witch Meldanova, its existence made all the creatures in it trapped and unable to move freely. Meldanova's magic locks or seals the movement of time and turns off various equipment that serves as a guide.

In some parts of the Outcast land covered with thick clouds inhabited by creatures created by Meldanova, the Chimera. The Chimera created Meldanova to hunt down all living things around the land, resulting in the extinction of several races that once lived in it.

This morning, for the first time sunlight touched the ground of the Outcast after Meldanova's death at the hands of the Donpa.

Slowly the sunlight spread across Donpa's body lying helplessly next to the mound where he buried Meldanova's head. "Nrk ...." The sigh Donpa then sat down limply holding the sunlight with his palm.

"What is this dream ...," muttered Donpa as he narrowed his eyes at the glint of sunlight.

Donpa who looked limp as he tried to stand aided by his hands, walked towards the entrance of the Ensnare tree, muttering, "What have I done?"

Donpa was still confused by what he had done, his body still filled with blood spots that seemed to start to dry up. He was seen leaning against the wall as if maintaining balance as he walked slowly into the room in the Ensnare tree.

Donpa went into the toilet and cleaned his face and blood stains all over his body.

After washing his face he looked at his reflection in the mirror and muttered, "Is that woman really dead?"

After cleaning himself, he returned to his bedroom, slowly his body had started to return to its prime, he also walked up the stairs while rubbing his hair with a piece of cloth.

"It turns out that everything is real" Donpa said. After arriving at the door of his bedroom, he immediately opened the door, there were patches of blood droplets everywhere, as well as his bed mattress full of blood. He immediately wet the cloth he used to clean the bloodstains.

"If the woman is really dead, that means ...," Donpa murmured and glanced at the window, as a glint of sunlight came in between the windows, immediately he rushed back down the stairs leading out.

Tenyata's right.

That woman is dead.

Staring at the sunlight that was so dazzling that he closed it with his palm.

That means ....

I've been detached from the magic ....

A wide smile of relief appeared on Donpa's face and went back into the Ensnare tree.

"That means everything here I can have." Donpa seemed to widen his smile and then slowly laugh until he laughed loudly. "Haha .. haha .. hahaha ...."

Donpa continued his activities in the hidden library, studying all the books in it and experimenting with things he found.

From then on Donpa began exploring every room in the Ensnare tree, trying to open up the entire closed room and leave the door open.

"320 ...."

"321 ...."

"322 ...."

"323 ...."

Donpa tried to count the number of doors that were inside the Ensnare tree. "Huh .. hah .. hah ...." The sigh of Donpa who looked exhausted. "there are still how many rooms inside here?" ronpa said as he looked up, looking at the number of steps and the number of floors remaining. "Damn, the tip is still not visible."

Donpa felt that the room was endless, he stopped for a moment and leaned next to the door he had just opened. "Rest for a while, I'll continue, I'm tired of having too much room in this tree" Donpa said, opening a bottle he had prepared.

"It doesn't feel like 4 hours have passed, but there are still many rooms I haven't opened yet" Donpa said, looking at the multi-functional digital watch on his wrist.

"All rooms seem to have the same design and shape, almost all the doors I open contain a bedroom." Continuing to stand, Donpa prepared to resume his goal. "Can this be called a hotel?" said Donpa holding the barrier and looking down and up.

Donpa continued his search inside the Ensnare tree, until the sun began to set. The last door he opened became his resting room tonight.

"862 ...." Donpa notes each room accompanied by the contents and function of the room. "Akhhh .., I can finally rest" Donpa said, jumping on the bed.

Tonight Donpa rested in a room that had the same design as the rooms where he had rested before, in his room he prepared some equipment and some books that he brought. "Bahhkan in this place can be called camping," said Donpa who still carries his large backpack.

Donpa prepared a dinner he had brought from the ground floor, meat. Ensnare's house and tree has a refrigerator that has the same area as the bedroom, the cold temperature produced from magic energy that the Ensnare tree itself has. As long as the Ensnare tree is alive, the cooling cabinet will still work.

"Despite its luxurious design, this place is truly unique," muttered Donpa looking around.

Ensnare tree has a design that almost resembles a royal palace, has automatic lighting at night, due to the effect of magic stones installed on each side of the ceiling and walls of the room or hallways.

After eating Donpa continued his activity reading books that he had not finished reading, a book consisting of 9 parts about the origin and creation of the Chimera. Donpa studied every book in Meldanova's secret library.

Some of the things he read, made him interested in creating his own chimera.

As the night wore on, Donpa began to feel tired and sleepy. "Ohimu ...." He yawned and then rubbed his eyes.

Closing the book, he quickly went to his bed, seeing the bed he had at first glance began to think of the incident the night before, just in case he slept without taking off his war gear, he said, all the weapons were still attached to his body, except for the grenade he had placed on the table.

"Hooaaammm ...."

Donpa still does not believe in Meldanova's death, but begins to think if she returns again tonight, what can she do but use the weapons she has today.

Gradually Donpa's eyes began to close, consciousness began to disappear, suddenly his vision darkened with the cry of a woman.

"What are you doing to my body ...?" From behind came the sound of rapid footsteps, approaching him.

Donpa turned to look at the source of the voice but he was surprised by the presence of the figure of Meldanova. "There's no way he died that easily" Donpa said, groping his pocket, trying to pick up a weapon still attached to his body.

"Goddess ... !!" It looked shocked because none of the weapons were attached to his body at that time. "Si-shit ...." Glanced at Meldanova who was getting closer to her.

"Quick get me out of here ...!!!" Meldanova shouted while holding Donpa's shoulder with both hands and then swung Donpa's body.

"Hee ...?" Donpa was confused by Meldanova's actions.

From what Donpa saw, Meldanova's eyes looked melted and teary. "Take me out of here .. haaaaa ...." Meltanova cried as she swung her hand and shook Donpa.

"These places are so dark. .., I can't see anything, even I can't use any magic." Sobs Meldanova who told me about what she felt in that place to Donpa.

"Heeee ...?" Donpa seemed forced to smile, looking at Meldanova who was crying while telling a story.

Taking his grip off Donpa's shoulder, he rubbed his eyes trying to wipe away his tears and said. "A-I .. huh .. huh .. huh .. ti-can't go back to my body haaaa ...."

The figure of the magician she feared and watched out for looked extremely weak and helpless, leaving Donpa perplexed as to what he should do now.
