New World: The Donpa
Mana Release

A few weeks passed after Donpa underwent a routine exercise with Ririn, he learned the release of mana. Which flow is not only focused on the body but on the objects or weapons he uses.

"Daar .. darr ... darr ...." The three shots he fired were aimed at Ririn.

After joining Sylph, Ririn's eyes were able to capture or see objects at a speed of 800 m/s. He was able to see the movement of bullets from the weapon Donpa released.

In order to test the mana release that Donpa used, Ririn tried to smash the bullet fixed on her with a wind arrow of her magic ability.

"Goddessa ...." Amazed Ririn then dodged Donpa's shot.

From what Ririn saw, Donpa bullets were able to penetrate magic.

"Like that, how does mana release work," Ririn told Donpa.

Donpas learn to use mana release in order to make their attacks more effective in dealing with enemies that have cores or mana controls to protect the body.

Mana release instead strengthens the attack, but which coated weapon will cut the core or which one protects its opponent.

"Hook." Seeming to understand something, Donpa said. "Therefore, penetrating the skin of the Chimera is very difficult."

"That's because there are cores or where strong controls protect their bodies" Ririn replied. "If it's not mana coated, your attack will be held back by the cores or whichever protects them."

"But, when I shoot from close range, I can hurt him," Donpa said as he continued his attack on Ririn using a sword he had covered.

"Although it can hurt him but the attack will not paralyze him," replied Ririn while fending off Donpa's sword with a sword shrouded in wind magic of his creation.

"City ... Ting .. daar ...." The sound of the sword fighting.

So that's the mechanism.

I can drain the mana on this weapon projectile and then release it.

Although Donpa's movements were not as fast as Ririn's movements, the Donpa's attack power was strong enough that Ririn repeatedly bounced when their two swords clashed against each other.

"What color did you come from, I don't understand it at all" Ririn said as she ran up to the rock and jumped up to Donpa.

Seeing Ririn strike from the air made Donpa launch three attacks from the gun towards Ririn. "Black .., said the woman, which color I am black."

Using wind magic to dispel the attack from the Donpa weapon, Ririn darted forward through and then swung her sword towards Donpa.

"Itsr ...." The sound of the sword hitting the two of them who collided, seemed Donpa resisted Ririn's attack until the ground he was on cracked. "Why don't you try to use magic with where you are."

"You talk easy." Heavy restraining the impulse from Ririn's attack made Donpa stammer while speaking.

Seeing that Donpa had enough difficulty withstanding his attack, he jumped to the edge and said. "I think that's enough for today."

After understanding the workings of mana release, Donpa seemed to close his eyes and fold both hands as if he was thinking of something. Ririn asked, "What are you thinking, Donpa?"

Hearing Ririn's words, Donpa opened his eyes then looked seriously and asked. "Can I cast wind magic like you?"

Ririn who has become one with her spirit has two consciousness, although Ririn does not learn it, the memory and spirit habits that use wind magic are remembered without having to learn. Therefore, Ririn is confused about how she learns magic because the spirit can use magic without having to learn since she was born.

One full month Donpa was in the Ogre Cave, he learned to use mana release. Phase 3 of Donpa development studies where.

The first phase is where control, controlling which flow on the body can improve basic human abilities.

Like focusing mana on the five senses to sharpen the ability.

The second phase is mana control, controlling mana in nerves and muscles.

Like concentrating mana on the nervous system of the brain and muscles to strengthen the ability.

The third phase is the release of mana, releasing mana to cut or release objects that have mana shield or physical reinforcement on one's body.

The three basic mana abilities Donpa had already learned, yet he was still unable to use magic.

Once he understood which means of release to fight, Donpa intended to return to the Ensnare tree the next day.

That night Donpa seemed to pack up, preparing his luggage to return to the Ensnare tree. Inside his resting hut, he is accompanied by Ririn who invites him to talk. "Isn't going back there dangerous" said Ririn, who saw Donpa packing.

Ririn looked worried by Donpa's intention of wanting to return to the Ensnare tree after Myobu's grandmother explained about the witch Meldanova.

"No, I'll find a way to stop the witch's reincarnation." With confidence Donpa answered.

Shifting his gaze as if trying to remember something, Ririn said. "It's no wonder why near you, the Chimera never attacked" Ririn said.

"I only understood after Myobu's grandmother explained about the witch," Donpa replied and closed the bag he had packed.

"And you also seem free to roam this land," continued Ririn.

Hearing Ririn's expression, Donpa stepped closer to Ririn and sat down on the bench, right in front of Ririn. They were separated by a table and illuminated by a candle. "I didn't realize it either, we used to have trouble finding a way out because of the thick fog and the monster that was inside, but now I'm used to this kind of atmosphere" Donpa replied.

"No. .., until now I still had trouble moving freely out there." Brushing aside Donpa's words, Ririn explained. "That thing keeps attacking me every night, even though Sylph has become one with me, it doesn't rule out the possibility that one day I'm not alert, I could've died by the Chimera-Chimera hanging around out there"

"Compared then, now you're much stronger." Looking at Ririn, Donpa said as if he was comforting Ririn. "There's no way that thing can beat you."

"Belg ... Don't make me so confident Donpa" Shy of hearing Donpa's words, Ririn switched the conversation. "Then, after that ..., what are you going to do?" Ririn seriously asked.

"Sure, I'm gonna go back to the coast and kill them all." Seemed a huffing agitated while clenching both of his palms.

"You still want to destroy their fortress?" ask Ririn.

"More than that." Donpa answered. "Their kingdom!"

Their conversation closed with the aim of Donpa who wanted to destroy the Melkuera kingdom, that night the last night Donpa stayed in the middle of the Vampire tribe after 32 days of training with Ririn, the way of release where.

Unlike Donpa's shadow, the Vampire does not eat blood like the story he once heard. Vampires are just like humans only when they are weaker during the day, therefore more Vampire activity at night. The physical form of Vampires is also almost the same as humans, but at night their form changes slightly, where the pupils of Vampire eyes will be reddened, fangs will lengthen and their nails will also lengthen.
