Leech Seed
Leech Seed is a Divine level magic capable of making itself move on to other souls to continue its life, in other words stealing the rest of the lives of creatures targeted by Leech Seed users.
Leech Seed requires 2 processes, first planting the seeds on the stream where the victim, second uniting the seed cells on the blood of the victim. The disadvantage of Leech Seed is that it takes a long time for the growth of seeds inside where a person becomes a tree that will lock or seal one's soul into it so that Leech Seed users can take over the entire consciousness of the victim.
"That means ...." Looking at the palm, Donpa said. "I've been targeted in his reincarnation."
"That's right" answered Myobu's grandmother.
"W-how do I stop it?" ririn said looking panicked with Grandma Myobu's explanation.
"The magic of Leech Seed cannot be undone" replied Myobu's grandmother, turning around and turning her back to Ririn and Donpa. "But .. You can kill him when he's off guard."
"There is no way such a woman could be killed so easily" Donpa muttered, recalling how Meldanova slaughtered the Melkueran knights.
"W-how do you do?" Ririn stammered as if looking worried for Donpa.
"I don't know either, maybe in Mr. Kate's book there's an answer." Turning back to face Donpa and Ririn, Myobu's grandmother said. "Find the answer in the book, Donpa."
Eternity, written on the cover of master Kate's book written in the language of Vampires, in it contains writings that contain history, experience, and procedures and notes in the use of magic.
The book that writes the travel history of Mr. Kate in developing the magic power of Meldanova.
In it is written from the viewpoint of Mr. Kate, who sounds like Mr. Kate is helping Meldanova based on love rather than coercion.
A few hours had passed after Donpa had read through the writing in Mr. Kate's book. "I think .. This is just Mr. Kate's diary, there are no words or clues to Leech Seed's ability" Donpa said as he closed the book.
"So, what are we gonna do?" asked Ririn who was sitting next to Donpa.
Ogre Cave has 3 entrances, the depth reaches 30 meters in the ground. The cave is large enough to accommodate one city in it. One of the doors that was destroyed by the Donpa explosion was the west door.
The strong explosion of the Donpa made the Vampires check what was happening, therefore they attacked the Donpa.
The Vampires still think that Donpa is Meldanova's spy, therefore Myobu's grandmother checks the flow of the Donpa mana, is there any mix of mana from Meldanova who will discover the whereabouts of the Donpa to find out the Vampire's hideout and capture it.
"What are you going to do after this?" ask Ririn.
Ririn and Donpa who were in the camp inn looked like huts made of straw, like a small town. There are approximately 80 huts that are used as Vampire dwellings in this place.
"I think I'll go back to the Ensnare tree and read some of the books the woman had," Donpa replied.
One of the light sources inside the Ogre Cave was fire, in contrast to the Ensnare tree which used mana as light.
Overuse of mana would lure the Chimera, one of the creatures created by Meldanova who would attack the Vampire race, therefore they did not use much mana.
"What have you been doing these past few months?" ririn looked at Donpa.
"Oh .., I just learned how to use mana and then practice some basic mana skills" Donpa replied while playing his finger like counting how many abilities he mastered.
"Want ..., you could have faced some Vampires yesterday," replied Ririn.
"But for fighting ability, I haven't mastered it yet." Seeming like thinking of something, Donpa asked. "How do you fight using mana?"
"It's easy, when Sylph blends into my body." Glancing towards the top as if remembering his fighting style. "I feel like I have mastered fighting skills" replied Ririn.
"Hahaha." Blushed in embarrassment after Donpa grasped his hand, Ririn threw away her face. "Why, haha ...."
"Help me." Looks like teary eyes full of hope.
Donpa asks Ririn to help him practice using mana in the fight.
A few months ago, when Donpa left Ririn. He was trapped in the cave with the Vampires, Ririn who faced the whole Vampire was undaunted, standing to protect Donpa, but Ririn who actually has the same ability as Lupus makes Myobu's grandmother undo the intention to fight with Ririn, then choose to cooperate in the rescue of Donpa.
However, when they wanted to help Donpa. Meldanova had arrived first and brought Donpa to the Ensnare tree. The Vampires who sensed the air of Meldanova's existence, quivered in fear and returned to the bottom of the cave.
"Reliza ...." Shouted Ririn kicking Donpa.
"Twoaarrr ...." The sound of a stone being crushed by Ririn's attack.
Ririn and Donpa practice the sparring and making a thumping sound many times in the cave.
Duaaarr .. duaaarr .. daaarr ....
"Hoy hoy .., if you fight here, this cave will be destroyed." One of the Vampires shouted to Donpa and Ririn.
"One blow must have been fatal" muttered Donpa who was worried about Ririn's attack.
"Hahaa ..., sorry-sorry," replied Ririn ending her attack.
"How did your attack get that strong, hoy?" Shouting Donpa.
"I've told you, it's natural as if I'm used to mana" replied Ririn.
"It's all because he has fused with spirit" continued Myobu's grandmother who noticed their fight.
"How do I get a spirit?" ask Donpa to Myobu's grandmother.
"Depending on whether you like the spirit or you succeed in conquering the Spirit," Grandma Myobu replied looking like she was underestimating Donpa.
"What kind of spirit is that?" ask the confused Donpa how to meet Spirit.
Ririn tried to answer Donpa's question. "Spirit is like .., hmmm ...." Confused to describe the form of Spirit.
Spirits are beings, which are created from natural energy, especially Spirits have no physical form and are difficult to find.
"Isn't that like a ghost?" answer Donpa.
"Yeah ...!! More or less like that, ha-haha .. haha ...," replied Ririn looking doubtful of the similarities between ghosts and Spirits.
Their practice ends with a debate between similarities and differences, Spirit and Ghost.
That day Lupus was not at all visible in the Ogre Cave, Lupus was on assignment at the Novajan Altar, the duty of a Vampire who had a lineage of elders, he said, to perform the ritual worship of Old Deus by giving his blood at the Novajan temple.
Although the land of Outcast is covered with fog that can mislead the creatures in it, Lupus can move freely because the spirit it has is able to guide the road with the wind element.
The ritual performed by Lupus is a hereditary ritual, a form of homage to Old Deus who gave his power to the Vampire elders as a leader, because the god worshipped Vampires is a race of Old Deus named Novajan.
