Outcast Land is a land of waste. A long time ago, the land of Outcast was a land for vampires. In this place once lived millions of vampires in peace. They are born, grow, and develop like humans. They lived freely in this land, until one day the witch arrived, killing all the vampires in this land with her creation of the Chimera. The Witch of Blood is Meltanova. A real vampire, who thirsts for blood for all beings with souls.
From behind the bush, Mikaru saw a group of humans who resembled knights and they looked ready for battle. The group of knights had a large, stocky body, equipped with armor, swords and shields. Their heads were covered in steel helmets and their number was around 100 people.
"Who are you?" ask Mikaru.
Seeing Mikaru and his companions helpless, the knights approached him.
From what Mikaru heard, they spoke using a foreign language. The language he spoke he had never heard in his life.
Armed with sign language Mikaru expressed gratitude by bowing his body before the knights.
Responding to Mikaru's actions, one of the knights embraced Mikaru and said in a sentence that he did not understand.
The knight pointed somewhere while assuring Mikaru, they would get help and safety there.
From what they said Mikaru tried to translate the actions of the knights, he concluded that they wanted to help Mikaru and his friends.
"They're good people!" mikaru said to the others.
"Yay!" ririn replied happily.
"Finally ...," muttered Sigit with a smile.
Now Mikaru and his friends were helped by the knights and taken to their border fortress.
On the way to the residence of the knights, Mikaru noticed the people who took him and muttered.
"How can their bodies be that strong?"
Keep muttering while watching the knights who took him.
"Only by throwing spears can they penetrate the skin of the chimera."
"I know very well how hard the creature's skin is."
"These people, not ordinary people."
It is known that the troops were border troops from the Melkuera kingdom who built a fortress on the coast of OutCast. Mikaru and the others were walking through the valley towards the coast with the extra escort made by the knights.
On the way, often the knights joked to melt the atmosphere after finding the physical and mental injuries that Mikaru and the others had suffered.
Although their language is different but their instincts understand little by little in which direction their conversation.
After spending three hours traveling, the dark sky slowly revealed its light. From their left side, the morning sun illuminated their journey.
"W-how can it be?" muttered Mikaru looking at the sun on the coast.
They did not feel they had reached the end of the island down the valley, from a distance where they stood looking fortress standing with the flag of the kingdom of Melkuera below, just off the coast of the land of OutCast.
Rumia approached Mikaru, then pulled the shirt behind her.
"Mi-Mikaru ...," call Rumia.
From what Mikaru saw, Rumia's eyes looked teary-eyed a sign she was very happy for having arrived at a safe place.
Rubbing Rumia's hair, Mikaru smiled "It's okay."
"After a long night and endless terror, we can now rest in peace" Mikaru muttered.
After reaching the offshore OutCast plains, there was not the slightest fog covering the sky. A little confused Mikaru and his friends.
Sigit approached Mikaru as he made his way down the hill with the knights to the fortress.
"You see?"
"Yes, the fog is not here," Mikaru replied while watching his surroundings.
"Mikari!" Ririn called Mikaru while pointing her phone.
"Work!" Compact Sigit and Mikaru replied.
The clock and compass are active, although the setting starts when he is off the beach.
The knights noticed Mikaru and the others were discussing in a language that he did not understand at all.
One of the knights approached, asking about the phone held by Ririn.
While pointing at Ririn's phone, one of the knights said.
Although not understanding his words, but Ririn understood the curiosity with something that Ririn was holding.
"It's called a cell phone" Ririn replied as she pointed her screen at the knight.
"Wooaaaaa," replied one of the knights as if looking amazed.
"Oh yeah, we're trying to take a picture." Ririn activated her camera and photographed one of the knights.
"Wooaa hahaha ...." Admired while laughing one of the knights stuck out his hand.
"Rudof Sannah ..," he said, then stuck his hand out to Ririn.
"That's your name, Rudof?"
Move the index finger that leads to his chest while mentioning. "Rudof Sannah." Then pointed at Ririn while tilting her head, as if hinting she did not know Ririn's name.
"Ohh haha .. I'm Ririn Ocna, nice to meet you." Ririn extended a hand.
Someone else approached Rudof then whispered.
From what Ririn saw, Rudof seemed to nod as if he was what one of his colleagues had said.
Rudof's halting smile returned to the front row leaving Ririn.
After Rudof went back to the front, Sigit's embraced Mira approached Ririn, then asked. "What did he say?" ask Mira.
"I also don't understand what he's saying, it seems he's curious about this phone" replied Ririn.
"I thought you understood their language."
"How could I possibly understand their language in such a short time."
After a long journey, they reached the base camp of the knights. The atmosphere there was quite crowded, Mikaru scanned around the area then muttered.
"From the soldiers, this place is filled with miners."
"I think they're a guard force tasked with guarding the miners."
"Then those who saved us, were the soldiers in charge of exploring this island."
"In other words, they're not native islanders here."
One of the knights escorted Mikaru and his friends to one of the camps.
"Woaaaaa .. I can finally sleep soundly," said Ririn lying on a raffle covered with cloth.
"The camp is quite spacious," Sigit replied as he watched the room.
"Maybe fit for 15 to 20 people" Mira replied.
Sigit's attention was diverted towards Rumia who was approaching Mikaru, Mikaru's condition seemed weak. He leaned against the table in the corner of the tent.
"You didn't clean yourself up?"
"I think I'll rest for a while" Mikaru replied
"Then I, Ririn and Mira go first."
"Accept ...."
Mikaru looked exhausted and lacking blood, he fell asleep for a moment after leaning against the table.
Rumia went to approach Mira. "After this, help me change Mikaru's bandage yes," Rumia asked.
"It should be, right?" While watching the wound on Mikaru's hand.
Ririn noticed Mikaru's worsening wound. The stench was very stinging.
"Wouldn't we change the bandages?" Worried Ririn asked Rumia.
"Let him rest for a while, while looking for equipment to replace his bandages," continued Mira.
From outside the tent, there was the sound of someone calling Ririn's name.
"Ohh ... Rudof," welcome Ririn out of the tent.
Rudof and his two subordinates were carrying food and some medical supplies.
Ririn seemed accustomed to speaking sign language with Rudof.
"There's nothing to worry about, it looks like Ririn could be the link between them and those knights," Sigit muttered watching Ririn with Rudof.
"Ririn, ask where the toilet is" Sigit said.
"Ac .. yes."
After the two subordinates Rudof laid down food and some medical supplies. Rudof directed them to guide the women towards the toilet.
Ririn, Mira and Rumia followed him happily. Seemed a happy face as Ririn waved at Rudof who stayed behind to accompany Sigit.
Mikaru's condition worsened, the wound on his hand seemed to be rotting. His body developed a high fever and he involuntarily fell asleep as soon as he reached camp.
