Not Laila Majnun
Laila and Qo'is

Laila and Qo'is are two human children who love each other but cannot live together because of the blessing of parents. Both have been in love for a long time but the will of parents remains the same. Unmoved to unite two people who love and desire each other.

It was precisely the parents of the girl who was the uncle of Qo'is who married Laila to a young man of their choice who was more everything than the Qo'is in their view.

Finally, Laila was forced to marry the person she was betrothed to even though her love remained attached to the Qo'is alone.

While the man named Qo'is went to leave their territory residence. He couldn't have seen Laila every day but couldn't have her. He then went on a trip, not knowing the direction. Walk wherever his feet step. Through the Sahara valley and desert.

He's like a madman who doesn't know where he is and doesn't know how he looks. His clothes were shabby and tattered. Her hair is long and messy. He also had no place to stay so he slept anywhere. The words that came out of her dry lips were nothing but the humming of love and the poetry verses about Laila until everyone knew her as a madman out of love.

He was not aware of what he was doing but when someone asked him to talk about Laila then his consciousness would come back and he could tell about Laila in detail.

Once upon a time when he was as usual walking in the desert where the heat stung someone who shouted at him.

"O Qo'is, I saw Laila on the path there...!" Shouted the man from far away.

And the Qo'is regained consciousness and returned to his sanity. He ran no matter how hot the sun burned his body. His deep yearning for Laila was able to forget all the pain that plagued his body. He only wanted to see Laila even if it was just from far away.

But unfortunately when he arrived Laila was no more. The people who saw him felt sorry and gave the slippers to Laila

Qoi's received it with sparkling eyes. "Truly, the dust that sticks in Laila's terompah is more valuable than the rest of the world" he said, hugging the terompah earlier.

He had also reached the Kaaba but not to worship. Under the ka'bah he hung on to the kiswa by continuing to mention the name Laila instead of the name of his Lord.

Until he died a terrible death and the people buried him with the name Majnun (the madman).

Some said they were in awe of Qo'is and his true love. Perhaps they do not know the true love between makhluq and the Creator.

But what I'm going to tell you is it's not like the Laila Majnun stories like the ones I read in storybooks.

Laila is an orphan who lives alone with her sister. Both of his parents died in a fire that broke out in their home. There was no treasure left by the two because all was scorched. While the land occupied is family land which means it belongs together and must be shared with his mother's brothers.

Laila has to work hard to support herself and her sister. He was determined to send his sister at least until the end of High School.

It was because of his circumstances that he aspired to find the perfect established man. It is quite tired and wants to get rich in an instant way.

They both live moving places even though they are still in the same city to adjust to the workplace, cost and others.

Unbeknownst to Laila her sister Doni often skipped school and went busking or taking care of the parking lot to ease the burden of her life.

His association with equally disadvantaged children introduced him to the world of thugs and the like.

He was also in debt with loan sharks because he owed them when his friends were as fortunate as anyone who was sick and needed medical expenses. Because among them he is the oldest Doni often become parents to them.

Trying to meet their needs even though the delinquent school that has been a few months has not been paid. He instead prioritized the interests of disadvantaged children whom he had already considered to be his younger brother and family.

Often he steals money or goods from people who look precious and have no trouble making a living. He knew the risk of going to prison but his heart always could not bear to see the state of his sisters.

One time he tried to steal in the city's best-selling supermarket because one of the children he cared for had to go to the hospital for dengue fever.

In the supermarket TOP DEWE which is always crowded with visitors even though the building is not too big that he put his hopes to get large amounts of money in the wrong way.

Naas, when he took the purse of a woman who looked rich he was found out. The woman screamed pickpockets at Doni who was running on the sidewalk. This amateur action makes an athletic person chase after him and can easily catch him immediately.

The young man beat Doni because the teenager who did not have expertise in the criminal field tried to rebel and escape.

It was there that he first met a figure that instantly amazed and transfixed him. The figure of the older brother that he had long imagined to be his only big brother's companion. That feeling just popped up when he saw Lukman his sister-in-law.

He was taken to the defendant's room at the supermarket by the sweet black man who had been beating him earlier. And Doni just ngeh if his brother turns out to work there and he is sure if after this incident his brother will definitely get in trouble because of him.

Instead of helping to cause trouble for my brother, his heart was cursing at his own stupidity.

In the room there were already mothers who were in the pickpocket earlier, then there was his brother, brother who beat him and a man whose age was no longer young.

Doni observed his brother and brother with a probing look trying to find a gap whether his brother who had twitching eyes was a little interested in the young man with a firm face and a hard jaw?
