So far Lukman still uses the traditional harvesting system although his men have proposed to do harvesting through modern techniques to save costs and save time but the owner insists on using the old method.

According to him, harvesting traditionally requires more human power especially for the size of the rice fields that are hectares wide and it has a good impact to help the people who live in the rice fields of his own and a small part of his property his family.

The farmers usually use a sickle to cut the yellowed rice tree by grasping a clump of rice stalks and then cutting it right on the bottom trunk. It must be done carefully because one of the fingers themselves can be severed.

After all the rice is finished being dropped and cleaned from the leaves of the rice that fall out along with other impurities. The last step is to dry the rice until it is dry and the rice is ready to be milled or stored.

Fortunately Lukman uses one of the most famous methods of organic rice cultivation, the System of Rice Intensification (SRI).

The method of cultivation of SRI itself began to be favored by farmers because it was able to increase the productivity of rice crops by twofold.

The SRI system itself supports the system of organic farming practices and promotes ecosystem balance.

The SRI method is also called the organic rice growing method because all stages do not use chemicals that are harmful to humans and the environment. This SRI method can be applied in various rice varieties.

Every 200 square meters of land usually produced 2 quintals of wet grain or if it has been dried and ground into rice, will be able to produce 90 kg of rice.

Organic rice can be sold directly when it becomes dry grain or milled first until it becomes consumption rice.

In addition to increasing the productivity of crops, the land around the rice fields is also not damaged and more loose because it is not exposed to harmful chemicals.

Although Lukman in some ways looks like the appearance of the first but he principled planting anything should use organic systems so as not to disturb the ecosystem and the balance of nature.
