Monday was the day most office workers avoided not least Regata who was ogah-ogahan prepared after three times Bi Nina woke him up. That morning the IGD looked more crowded than usual. There are observation patients, pregnant women, and two hit-and-run victims whose wounds have not been sewn. Regata walked into the IGD room filled with blood and wet footprints. Cleaning service was transporting medical garbage and non-medical garbage, the smell of garbage filled the room.
“Ugh! Why is today so stinky" Regata's nagging. He put his bag in the locker and checked his phone, Jenar who was beside him immediately took a snail and examined the patients who were queuing up. A few seconds later Regata sat down at his desk and checked the medical records that had already piled up.
A nurse came to inform him that one of the patients had decreased consciousness. That patient is a patient who is on the red path which means it should be prioritized. The 80-year-old patient, whose saturation continues to decline while the treatment room in the ICU is limited until the patient is treated temporarily in the IGD.
Amid the busy IGD Regata exit to the bathroom. His service friends just nodded at a glance while trying to help the patient. One of them was forced to ask other patients to wait because of limited energy.
It's been over thirty minutes Regata hasn't shown up at his desk while patients keep growing. Jenar who is still monitoring patients while doing a number of actions looks restless. In the wound care room, two night service doctors have not completed their duties of sewing and treating patients' wounds while their service hours have ended and have to do guard overan.
Regata sat on the toilet watching a badminton game, even though the Lintang landing schedule was still in 8th place.
“tok, tok” a subtle knock on the toilet door surprised Regata who was focused on watching the game that deliberately omitted the volume.
“Dok, is it still old? There are patients queuing” said a voice behind the door.
“Yes a little more” Replied Regata accidentally pressed the flush button closet.
There was no answer, but Regata heard the sound of footsteps.
Regata immediately pocketed his phone in a sneli pocket he wore, glazed briefly in the toilet mirror and then headed for the nurse station.
Regata sees Jenar with the others pushing the gurney towards the ICU. There are patients left alone with nurses who treat their wounds. Regata ignored the stack of medical records of patients and then headed to the wound care room. Arriving there he saw nurse Jesnita filled with splashes of blood because the tendon of the patient's leg was broken. The stitches he did were removed repeatedly. Jesnita looked frustrated, she ignored the seemingly ordinary Regata.
“Dok, can you please help sew the tendon” said Jesnita presses every word, fuck if Regata feels offended by his attitude.
Regata nodded while trying to sew a tendon that kept twitching. Regata does it carefully, sewing, cleaning to bandage the patient's wound well.
“fiuh finally finished also” said Regata wiping the sweat that was stuck on his forehead.
Regata heads to his desk while tinkering with a cell phone. All eyes were on him as he came, he saw the scorn of the guard team. Each of them whined away with a sour face.
Regata tried to get them to talk but no one wanted to answer his question. From the IGD group he finally found out the patient on the red line with decreased consciousness was not saved and died.
“Jen, I'll take home” bargain Regata.
“Yes you know, this morning IGD again can-can be dr. Regata to the toilet really long where the patient stacked up plus the patient was not exhausted think deh” voice someone stopped step Jenar.
“Diare times so long” connect others.
“Do not know, but there is no sound of water. Time out I called directly there was a flush sound, out it came out” said another voice. His voice sounded skeptical.
“If he had helped, the patient would not have died. The problem is that four doctors. Three of them are busy taking care of serious patients, dr. Genar even while monitoring patients whose tendons are severed, the same patient children who have DBD”
Jenar turned on his motorbike making the group who were talking suddenly disperse and say see you tomorrow.

Lintang's victory in the first two matches did not make Regata happy, because he was called to the personnel room was reprimanded and tried for his attitude lately. The highlight was his behavior yesterday. All witnesses called separately said Regata was responsible for his service so he accidentally lingered on the toilet and only handled one patient during his seven-hour shift.
Regata came out of the room with a dead red face. In his heart he condemned the attitude of the guard team yesterday. If he does not help suture the patient's tendon, the patient will lose a lot of blood and die. Clearly Jesnita is incompetent in the IGD, dealing with one patient alone cannot. After all, he just made a small mistake this time why all the units are so excited, while other doctors make problems sometimes not given a hard warning. Regata felt her anger rising.
After that day, his mood and work environment worsened in Regata's eyes. Regata begins a cold war with Jenar, according to which Jenar is the culprit of the reprimand she received and Jenar is the only one who sees her carrying a cell phone in her snack pocket. In addition, the proximity of Jenar and Genta makes Regata disturbed. They throw each other a dime joke during the operation and Jenar begins to be adept at melting the atmosphere of the operation with Genta. Not only that Regata saw Jenar become a much better operating assistant than him, and... Genta no longer needs his help in the operating room.
“Do I have to resign and return to Jakarta aja ya” muttered Regata one night.
Regata remembers treating her coworkers coldly. They often excommunicate him in association, do not invite him to chat, even their warm smile no longer Regata find every service. Regata also began to rarely participate in activities at work and prefers to go home after the overan guard is completed.
Regata again weighed his father's proposal. But he was also upset because of the new SIP that had been taken care of and a contract extension letter that had not been signed. He still asked for time to the personnel until the day after tomorrow, the reason being that he had to consult with his parents.
Regata ruffled his hair in frustration, he did not know where to spill all the contents of his head and heart. A great sense of prestige made him unwilling to contact Jenar or Genta, he waited for the two closest people to him to talk first and he planned to be indifferent as if nothing had happened.
