Visas (2)

"Good afternoon doc, there's a cop who wants to meet"

Regata immediately met the police in question.

"Please sit down sir" he told the two men. They're sitting in the ER doctor's room.

"Look doc, our doctor visited here yesterday to see our friend's condition. He also read his visa. According to our doctors, there was a broken bone covered in the victim's leg and it was not written in this visa" the police said.

"Good sir. First I have to explain, let there be no misunderstanding between us. We work, based on the code of medical ethics. As a general practitioner, my competence can only explain the circumstances of the victim in general. Second, the state of the fracture must be explained by an orthopedic specialist because of the competence of specialists, orthopedic doctors can explain in detail the fracture" said Regata at length.

"Sorry doc, but this broken bone is a man who isn't a doctor knows. I didn't need to see a specialist, I just had his visa repaired plus a broken bone" The police officer before him started to get impatient.

Regata refused firmly. He adhered to a code of ethics, competence, and knowledge differences between general practitioners and specialist physicians. Even if he knew there was a broken part he could not casually write the broken part into his visa without further examination to an orthopedic specialist.

There was a fight in that room. The police refused to go home before his visa was replaced. Regata did not think, should the police visum division, must have been familiar with similar cases why now even angry?

"What's this?" doctor Genta appeared at the door of the doctor's office.

The two policemen immediately complained to Genta doctor because the patient was temporarily treated by Genta salama doctor general practitioner following the annual meeting of general surgeons in Indonesia.

"Your regata's out for a minute, let me do the talking"

Regata came out of the room.

"It's amazing, not if the police doctor should know the difference in competence" asked doctor Jenar his office friend.

"I'm also confused even by the storm"

"This is a new kid, isn't it?" ask Jenar.

Regata does not understand the meaning of Jenar with the word new child.

Regata's memory goes to the middle-aged man in charge of taking care of the visa. The two policemen looked young and seemed to be just carrying out the duties given by the superiors without knowing the actual visa procedures. After all why the keukeuh hold on to their doctor's talk that this fracture lives in the written in the visa. Of course Regata was angry, he risked his profession and his pride as a doctor how could he just enter a description that was not his competence?

Not long after the two men say goodbye to doctors Genta and Regata. Regata just nodded slowly.

"Where's doc?" ask Regata.

"I have explained in detail what-why-cause-effect, they said they want to report first to the superiors"

Jerar giggled softly at Doctor Genta's reply, while Regata glared at him asking him to stop.
