Jane stared out the Window with a flat gaze, she was enjoying the rain water touching the ground, the sound of the rushing rain was quite soothing to her.

No conversation that arose after that, Ed did not want to ask a lot of questions and make Jane continue to think about things that drain her energy and mind.

But suddenly the car turned to stop at the restaurant. Jane glanced at Ed who was just frowning.

"you haven't eaten before" he said, like the question Jane wanted to ask, then Ed got out of his car.

Ah, Jane just remembered she hasn't eaten at all today. How could he forget something important in the middle of two bodies.

Outside Ed was waiting for her with the umbrella he was carrying. Jane got down and hurried to join Ed. Then, they walked into the restaurant with Ed who continued to hold Jane, yes he was worried that Jane would be exposed to rain water.

Jane looked at Ed who looked serious avoiding stepping on the puddle but his right hand did not release himself even Ed clenched him tightly.

Ed realized Jane kept looking at him "what's the matter?" tanyakanya.

Jane threw her face away, then shook her head.

They are looking for an empty place, the rain does not make this restaurant quiet even more crowded. Then Ed rushed to order while Jane waited on his bench.

A few minutes Ed came back with the waiter who brought their order. Rendang, chicken pop, vegetable jackfruit, and various others. Then they enjoyed it quietly.

In the midst of enjoying the meal, they were struck by a man who suddenly approached and said "I have a little doubt, are you really Jane?"

Jane turned her head, a second later she stood up "ah, Brother Andre-" she said a little surprised.

"Oh, it seems right. I think the wrong person, how are you?!" tanyanya while directly hugging Jane, of course Jane also greeted him enthusiastically.

"a little deviated from expectations, but it's nothing" he replied as he broke free from Andre's arms.

"Hey, how could that be? Jane who is always enthusiastic and optimistic suddenly has no hope? You can tell me about your problems" she said hoping Jane would be willing to tell her about them.

"Ah, it's not a serious matter" Jane had no intention of telling her the problem.

Andre stared fixedly at Jane, trying to melt the atmosphere of "Come on, you're just like with someone else"

"help!!" Ed touched Jane's arm slowly "you haven't finished your meal" Ed said as he looked at the man called Andre.

Only then did Andre focus on Ed, his forehead frowning with a myriad of questions clearly visible on his face "he?!" Andre looked at Jane for an explanation.

Andre looked puzzled but he shook Ed's hesitant helping hand, he replied "Andre's sister-level Jane-"

Again Andre glanced at Jane asking for her explanation because after she graduated, she knew that Jane was still a final-level student at the same university as him.

Jane nodded "ah, it's true she's my husband Ed and this is Andre's sister one university just another study" Jane introduced.

Ed smiled proudly as he was recognized as the husband before this man. The man glazed eyes with curly hair, yes he has enough appeal for women.

"oh?!" said Andre, he was confused to show what expression when he found out the man was the husband of Jane.

he continued, "I'm surprised Jane! you're already married. I remember you saying you weren't in a hurry to get married!" Andre smiled wryly.

Ed looked at the man's annoyance, but he still allowed Andre to sit with them.

It was only discovered that Andre was quite close to Jane while at University. Plus now Andre really shows how close they are, he also knows the food, color, and things Jane likes or dislikes. Anyone would know from the look in Andre's eyes that looked at Jane with sparkling rounded eyes, she had feelings for Jane.

Jane seemed comfortable talking to Andre even occasionally she smiled beautifully in front of the man. From childhood until now Ed and Jane only quarrel and quarrel rarely does he show such a beautiful smile to her.

Jane realizes that Ed seems uncomfortable with Andre's presence, it just so happens that the rain has subsided, and they are done with each other's food. Then Jane invites Ed to come back home because his in-laws must be waiting for them.

Of course Ed rushed up from his chair, embracing Jane in his arms "Be careful" he said.

Jane is confused by Ed's behavior, he's okay, then Ed's worries are shown a bit strange and excessive. Jane thought, maybe Ed's worried about his son. Naturally, the father in this phase is a little protective because he hopes for safety for the baby.

Then Jane looked back at Andre who gave him a sad look "Ah, happy to meet and talk with Andre-sister" said Jane he intended to say goodbye politely.

"I am too, I hope we meet again with a more supportive situation" he said, sounding disappointed in his farewell sentence.

"Yes, I have my regards to Aunt Sarah" Andre said.

Jane tried not to show her sadness "Mother just died, so your greetings can't be said" Jane smiled, holding back her grief.

Andre seemed surprised, then explained that he did not mean to make Jane's mood worse. Later he expressed his condolences for the departure of aunt Sarah. Of course Jane did not blame Andre because she did not know his mother had died, naturally she sent greetings to the house. Andre used to visit his residence often when his mother was at home.

Then they say goodbye with a little tension between Andre and Ed who look at each other sharply, but Jane just relaxed.

Andre just looked at Jane's back who started to move away, held in touch with another man who was not him "apparently I was late, if at that time I immediately expressed my feelings to you. Maybe now I'm standing next to you" really Andre regretted his delay.

This is a valuable lesson for him, so never hesitate in everything. It is better to say it first even if it finally gets rejected, than the feeling of being buried without ever being uttered and finally hurting yourself to see it with others.

Yeah, Andre didn't know that Jane and Ed's marriage wasn't based on love.
