Oh, Love?

Lazy to respond to it and awkwardness makes the atmosphere become quiet. Jane was busy flipping through her reading pages, and Lily was busy with her phone her face looked upset but she tried not to show her bad mood. He still maintains his friendly image. 

A moment later Lily turned her attention from her phone to Jane's "Hey Jane are you familiar with Ed?"

Jane who was busy reading stopped her activity, she answered it without turning her head "not so" Then she went back to reading the pages of her book. 

Lily seemed to think. It seems that he chose not to ask more deeply, he would wait for the arrival of Aunt Weni and ask directly why a single woman was in Ed's residence which he said was not too familiar? Then aunt Weni is not a person who easily accepts her son to bring women into the house, even if Jane is considered as his child, she herself was never treated so special by aunt Weni. To be honest she's a little jealous of Jane, especially she's pretty enough of him. 

After Pause Lily again said "Hey, as a woman can you tell me if I'm pretty enough?" 

Jane closed the book, looking back at Lily's face. She smiled faintly "yes, you're beautiful"

Lily seemed satisfied with Jane's answer, she was indeed narcissistic. 

"Then-mm if given a rating you'll give me how much?" ask her again, wondering what kind of people see her. 

Jane thought nothing of Lily thirsting for confession, and she replied, "You know, every creation of God is perfect. I created it where you dare to give a rating, but you sure are pretty"

"Ughh! So you say I'm beautiful because I'm God's creation. It means if I'm not God's creation I'm not beautiful?!" Lily was busy staring at herself from her phone screen seeing if she was that bad. 

"I think there's something wrong with your reasoning. You can think of my words. I tell you the key to self love" Jane is good at saying that, even though she herself is difficult to accept reality now. 

That might be natural. When insecure sometimes requires recognition from others in order to cover up the sense of insecure. Jane can explain Lily's slightly childish behavior to her, she also feels Lily is the type of person who is outspoken. 

"I want to go to the room" Jane was about to get up from her seat. 

It's just a coincidence, Ed's coming. The two of them looked at each other, especially Jane who could not hide her shock. In the last few days Ed hasn't shown himself. 

Not only was she surprised, Lily too. Afterwards, Lily looked overjoyed to see Ed whom she was indeed waiting for. 

"Hay Ed" His greeting was friendly, running up to Ed who was dumbstruck still staring at Jane at the door. 

It's just that Ed didn't even bother with Lily's arrival, he slowly walked over to Jane's "Mother says you're home alone" she started the conversation. 

"No. Lily is with me here" he replied. 

Ed realized that Lily was here. Jane observes Lily's emotional behavior, with her fists holding back embarrassment and disappointment. 

"I want to rest. Can I go to the room?" Jane does not want to interfere with the meeting of two people, let them talk and let go of her longing. Yeah, Jane thinks Ed and Lily might have a relationship. 

Ed did not answer. Jane interprets for herself that it was the answer yes, she steps away from them. 

Ed was about to climb the stairs, overtaking Jane. Somehow she felt like Jane's face wasn't okay. 

"Ah, why are you here?"

Lily was more upset to hear that "You should have welcomed me with joy instead of questioning my arrival!"

"Yes. If you have business with Mom just wait for her to come" Ed steps back up the stairs. 

But Lily pulled Ed's arm strong "why are you in a hurry, you're chasing him. Who exactly is Jane to you?"

Ed looked at Lily sharply, then brushed off his handrails. He spoke emphatically "Act like a respectable woman by not touching a man's arm carelessly!"

Lily was surprised, but then she showed her disappointment "i'm no one else.I'm your cousin, you're always rude to me" Lily teary-eyed. 

"Lantas?- And if you ask who Jane is, she'll be my wife. I hope you'll never think of bothering him" Ed gave an ultimatum, because he knew enough about Lily's playfulness of people he doesn't like. 

Lily did not know and did not expect that the woman would be Ed's wife. Truly he could not say, Ed who had never been heard dating a woman suddenly said he was going to get married. She thought she was the woman Ed would be betrothed to considering she was a suitable cousin paired with her. 

Ed stopped in front of Jane's room door, several times walking back and forth, occasionally wiping his confused face. He wanted to go in but. And without a second thought he went into the room, as the man who would be the husband he had to be firm, at least for Jane to fear. 

Oh, goddamn. Jane is asleep. He wanted to talk seriously enough about it. He pulled up a chair and sat down next to Jane, staring at Jane's tired face with a casual look. 

"You're still pretty just like you used to be. Just because of my mistake your smile disappeared" Ed bowed. 

Ed remembered very well, Jane was a cheerful person. His face always shone with his charming innocence. 

"Mama-" Jane's delirious, apparently she's having a nightmare. 

Ed rubbed Jane's hand hoping it would help calm her down. 

"I hate you, Ed-" Jane's delirious again.

Yeah, he knows he's still hated that's why he doesn't want to show himself often. At least Jane was calmer. Ed, tighten his teeth strong. She boldly kissed Jane's forehead "dream good and forgive me"

Ed was still there staring at Jane who looked calmer. She smiled a little as if it was useful, and then she remembered Jane was pregnant. Before Jane woke up she had a chance to rub Jane's stomach, it was not polite just that she felt she had to say hello to her future baby. 

"grow up boy" he said. 

It's good that Ed didn't realize Lily was watching him behind the open door. Lily who looked angry, after seeing so warm Ed on Jane he just believed that they were going to get married. His mind also wonders why they are in the same room with friendly but not yet bound by legal marriage?. Lily thinks it's possible that Jane used something to tie Ed to her, and she's sure that Jane's bad woman with black magic tried to take Ed in a despicable way. Lily felt deceived by the figure of Jane who seemed to not care when discussing Ed earlier. 

Then before Ed saw her he went back downstairs in a furious rage "just look at Jane, I'll expose your misdeeds"
