Oh, Love?

Oh, Love?
Residences

“I never taught you to be an asshole!”

"How can you handle that-"

"Oh, it's a pity that he explained the problem. At least our son is responsible and yes, that's Jane our neighbor's sweet girl first"

"What right does he deserve to be treated like that, no!!"

"I know that his actions are not justified. So from that moment on, we have to be his place. At least so she feels like this is home to her"

"And you're Ed though I don't justify your actions. Even if you reasoned you were framed by someone-"

The noise outside was quite disturbing to make Jane wake up with a throbbing head pain. She scanned the surroundings that looked different from her room, ah instantly she recalled the incident of not wearing today she came back crying in silence. Then he was surprised, he was already dressed.

"Ah, you're awake" A woman his mother's age is shocked to see her awake. Jane, remember it was Aunt Weni Mother of Ed, hastily Jane wiped her tears.

"It doesn't matter if you still want to cry, please. If you want to tell a story, curse the bastard I won't scold you because it's worth it" Aunt Weni placed a tray filled with a bowl of porridge and a glass of water on the table then she sat down on the chair beside Jane's bed, she looked at him guiltily.

Jane's lips were dry from crying, she opened her lips and said "Do you know how broken I am? how is my life going to be?! then mommy the one I have the only one doesn't trust me anymore, then what should I do? I-m gonna how's aunt?" Jane wiped her face. Damn, her tears are still dripping.

"Our meeting after so long is unfortunate, we should greet each other happily, but because of his cruel actions we met like this. I do regret the actions of that bastard man" Aunt Weni was busy railing at her son, then she hugged Jane gently rubbing her back that increasingly made Jane's cry break.

He continued, "Jane I'll never know because I'm not you, but that doesn't mean I'm going to ignore you and that bastard's going to have to take responsibility for his actions. I know it's very hard for you to be forced to accept the man who destroyed you, sorry it's no longer useful because everything has been destroyed. So, I hope you're willing to accept forgiveness from us at least marry him"

Jane is shocked that Aunt Weni, who she thinks will scold her and protect her son, turns to protect her and even if she does not justify her son's actions. Even so, that sentence was unable to touch his heart.

Jane smiled "No need for aunty, my words did not ask to be married. The compulsion will torture. A marriage without love will not last long. It's useless, undergoing because the accident will be even more devastating. Slowly going into time and I hope that no woman will ever experience anything like this. Thank you for being kind to me, but I will live my day like before even if it doesn't come back the same as it used to be" Jane tried to hold back her tears, however for her a loveless marriage would hurt both parties more.

"Speaking is easy but doing it is hard. Do you think we mean you're begging to be married off? we should be ashamed of you for the actions of our foolish son" said Joni, a tall man with gray hair. He stepped in his aura impressed wise, he's the father of Ed.

Uncle Joni flicked the curtains, then turned to look at Jane fixed "Your marriage is inevitable. Even if you want to refuse I won't grant it, it sounds coercive indeed, because your precious things have been snatched away"

"But uncle-" Jane was about to interrupt but fell silent again when Joni's uncle gave her a sharp look.

Uncle Joni is trying to control himself, honestly he is still angry with his stupid son who makes a woman in the spirit of pursuing a dream slumped like this. Then Uncle Joni said, "Because here you are harmed as a woman! " His speech sounded resolute and frightening, after saying that sentence he came back out.

Aunt Weni gently touched Jane's hand "Don't take heart, she didn't scold you. That's an act that must be because here you are harmed dear-"

Jane fell silent, then Aunt Weni asked that Jane immediately eat and rest again. Jane said, the matan looks so cute, it feels no longer have a passion for life.

Afterwards Aunt Weni let Jane rest. Jane looked out the window, as if she were in a second-floor room, only to realize that she was far away from home. Still in the same city.

Even if the people here seem friendly, it doesn't mean anything about things being taken away. Self-loathing and disgust still envelop him. Then his studies, dreams, hopes of the future, disappeared instantly. Would he be able to accept this kind of reality that easily? No, it won't be able to. It feels very difficult especially having to look at him.

Jane always dreamed of marrying the man of her dreams. After her study later she decided to seek her love, then married a man who sevisi, a mission with her has the same sense of humor and someone who is able to hit her loneliness. As an only child, a long-lost father, then a busy mother. Lonely he always enjoyed even though sometimes frustrated. Never in the slightest bit of wild thoughts, he just wanted to live peacefully and then find his soulmate in an honorable way, married full of favors and given prayers by the people. Humans only plan even now that the plan is only a decay of ink in useless paper.

"Papa must be ashamed to see me from above. I'm so despicable papa-" he murmured. Jane rubbed her face "Arghh-" she screamed in the mind. Worthless anger, and growing fear. He shook again, it felt like his life didn't matter anymore.

Jane got up from her chair, busy looking for something in the drawer, she looked frustrated continuously searching the drawer. In fact, there are no glass objects in this room, scissors, or anything sharp.

Tired, so long looking never found. He sat on the floor silent, his gaze blank.

"Can you get up, it's cold" Ed reached out his hand. Jane didn't even realize when Ed was next to her.

Then Jane nodded slowly. Ed didn't say or insist, he just waited next to Jane.

Long enough in that position. Jane turned, there Ed was still sitting on the floor not far from him, with his eyes closed while leaning near the wall.

Jane broke the silence by saying "you don't have to wait for me"

Ed's attention was on her, then replied "Lying, you're even looking for something to hurt yourself. You think I don't know that"

"True, it's true. So let me do it"

"Even if you beg me I won't let you hurt yourself. Can you calm down, things can be fixed" Ed tried to calm him down, he came closer.

Jane smiled wryly, she pulled the collar of Ed's rough shirt with a rage so passionate "then can you give back the precious thing in my life Ed, can you? If you can please return it to its original state" she cried with tears that broke again.
