18.GRANDFATHERS

"Oi Ken's... Are you all right?" Ace said with a hint of fear in his voice. He had heard about Ken's strength but seeing him in reality was a different thing. He had just burned a lion with lightning. He doesn't even need fire.

They did not understand why Ken suddenly became angry with the weak lion. Ken did not reply them but said to Luffy

"Luffy, tell us again what's your dream?"

"Hahahah, I told you. I won't repeat it again... Sheshehe.." He said with his smile and his special laugh. Ken couldn't stand a second and just lifted his collar.

"Say again!!" ask Ken. Ace and Sabo do not understand why Ken is a little restless with just the idea of a dream. They go to separate Luffy and Ken. But in the end they couldn't.

Ken holds Luffy's collar in the air but Luffy gives his answer in the form of a grin to Ken. After a few seconds of staring into each other's eyes, Ken gave up with a sigh.

"Do I have to wait until the end of Kaido to find out what his dream is again? Why does fate just pull me in?"

After this little incident everything went back to normal. They came home with food that night and as usual went early in the morning to practice quietly. To date, none of the three have opened their mouths about them as ninjas. Even the loud-mouthed Luffy was silent about this in Dadan's house and acted normally. Ken really doesn't care about this.

Those with special powers will come out someday. And if it is, not many will point it out because the world of One Piece itself is full of mysteries and no one can say that he knows everything. But he was glad Luffy and the others noticed the secrecy and acted as normally as possible.

Though Luffy has trouble not to open his mouth and spill. Sabo had to go and shut his mouth. In this way a few days passed and the other three brothers now became more proficient in ninjutsu. Ace has learned the first move of the Eight Trigrams. Sabo can now use the vacuum force on the secret weapon and throw it despite not having as much power as it really is and can only travel a few meters but there is progress.

Luffy was the one who suffered the most because he had to use his ninjutsu and rubber strength. Ken's not ready to compromise on rubber power. Only by using his rubber strength would he reach Nika mode so it needs special attention.

"Ninjutsu is very powerful but by the time you run out of chakra what will you do? Your physical body is more important here. And this goes for Sabo and Ace. Ninjutsu is fine but the body is where the real power is here." Ken gave the lecture. This woke Sabo and Ace up as well. They think ninjutsu, shuriken and kunai are enough but it seems like they are daydreaming too much.

So in addition to Luffy, Sabo and Ace also return to physical combat every afternoon. After days of practice, it was time to have some fun and they returned to Grey Terminal. This time they did not hide. They just walked in as if they owned the place and the people who lived there gave them space and respect.

A group of kids are now being feared at Grey Terminal. Ken's beating with his magic hammer still lingered in the minds of the spectators. The four of them sneaked into the restaurant using the royal privilege of Sabo. The stomachs of the four brothers were already full.

Only Ken was a little unhappy because there was no wine, no alcohol, no beer. Thor's character rubs off on him in a slightly wrong way, but it's good he prefers meat like Luffy. On returning from the restaurant, Sabo's father noticed Sabo and put on a grim face. Ken had already seen it from the corner of his eye but did not react.

He hoped that Sabo's father would chase after them!!

After having fun, they continued their practice. After a month of training, the other three brothers finally decided to go to one of the forest lords. Big bear!

The bear was slow but had quite thick fur. If they could drop it, it was tantamount to a seal that was running and they could go to the other forest kings. So after finding the bear, the three make their own strategies while Ken only sees them off the cliff. He was there to save them in case something went wrong.

"Ace, I will use the shuriken to injure his eyes, legs, and hands to immobilize him and make him slow. You can use your Eight Trigrams. Luffy, you can use your wind-style bullets to get him hurt. This bastard has a very thick skin so we have to be close while executing the plan." Sabo devised a plan to confront the bear and they ran towards it.

But that was when they saw an old man coming right in the middle of this. The old man looked like an ordinary old man but Ken was happy to see the old man. He waited to see it and learn from it.

"Oi ossan make way for us! This bear is huge. You're gonna die." Ace shouted in horror seeing the old man quite close to the attacking bear who already considered this dwarf as his target
