THREE SWORDS

And thus they sailed. Unlike in the anime which seems like the trip was completed in a matter of hours, Luffy and his emergency crew took more than 24 hours. Why that? Because they got lost at sea.

It was tragic when they encountered a storm and they deviated from their direction so it took more time to reach the Shell City. On the way Koby and Luffy tied up pretty well. It was there that Koby talked about his dream of becoming a navy and even an admiral.

Of course Luffy encouraged her to become one and also said that she need not fear death on her way to her ambitions. Koby finally gains the courage and promises that he will be one of them. That's when Ken said

"You can find our grandfather. He was a great Marine. I'm sure he'll train you well if you give him your heart and soul."

"Your grandfather? A marine?"

"Yes. Grandpa Garp. You must have heard of him."

"Garp...Garp's...You mean the Sea Hero Garp? He's your grandpa?" Koby was shocked to hear that.

"Yes. We're brothers and he's our grandfather." added luffy.

"But you two are pirates and even have pirate flags. Why are you the grandchildren of Marine Hero Garp?" Koby did not understand how the two who had great power and even a great navy could become pirates. This is unbelievable. Koby did not doubt them because he first saw how powerful the two were. Their grandfather must have helped them, but it seemed like the two had left.

"No problem. Koby, I have hope from you" said Luffy. In the evening, Luffy finished up the meat so Ken had to fly in search of more meat. Having Haki Observation makes his job easier. Koby gets the shock of his life when he sees a dead sea king in Ken's arms.

At first he was afraid that these two brothers would be defeated by Roronoa Zoro as they chased after him, but now it seemed that Zoro might not be a match for the two. Both are just demons in human form.

Soon they reached Shell City, but they dropped anchors from the harbor so as not to frighten people. They walk through the city but soon realize that the names of Colonel Morgan and Zoro are somewhat taboo here.

Luffy and Ken don't care and soon reach the place where Zoro is supposed to be detained. Luffy went ahead and spoke to Zoro.

"I heard you were a bounty hunter. How did you get caught by the navy?" ask Luffy.

"What's the difference to you? Get out of here."

Koby and Ken just look over the wall and see how Luffy convinced Zoro, but then a little girl used the stairs and rope to jump over the Wall and give Zoro the rice she made herself.

Later when the little girl is rescued, she talks about how Zoro was detained because he protected her and her mother from the wolf-like dog Helmeppo who destroyed everything around and nearly killed the girl. Luffy was touched by this and he almost decided to make Zoro a member of his crew there.

Although Ken praises him, it is up to Luffy to decide who will join the crew.

At the same time Helmeppo comes to the restaurant and arrogantly declares that he will execute Zoro tomorrow. It triggered Luffy to the extreme and hit him right in the face.

"I'm going to see my father and complain about you. He's gonna execute you."

"If you want something. Do it yourself." Luffy is angry and ready to hit again but Koby comes and somehow stops Luffy from being impulsive again. It was there that Luffy stated that Zoro would definitely join their crew.

Meanwhile, Ken had already seen Nami sitting down and drinking wine but did not approach her because it was not yet time. He then sees a running Helmeppo with his tail behind his feet running to his father to complain but is stopped by Ken.

"Who ... Who are you?"

"I am the brother of whom you were beaten and if you don't want to be beaten again, take me to where you kept Zoro's sword."

"Who do you think you are? Marines take care of this guy." Helmeppo orders two of his 'guard' marines. The Marines didn't like this at all, but they were more afraid of Morgan, so they went to take down Ken.

But the story repeats itself here, too. The two guards were struck and slammed onto the ground with a single move. One lost his teeth and the other his hand twisted. The two of them screamed in pain behind the alley and Ken had just captured Helmeppo and dragged him to the sword storage.

Of course, there were guards who saw this and rushed to stop Ken but he didn't even care and shocked them with a small electric current. After running for 5 minutes they finally reached Helmeppo's room and Ken found the three swords.

He left Helmeppo and headed straight for the mainland where Zoro was detained. When Ken got there, Luffy had already spoken to Zoro again and that was when Luffy stated that Zoro would join his crew even though he did not like him.

"So, if I get three swords, you will join the crew ... Oi Ken, where are you? Zoro says that if we get his sword then he'll join the crew." Luffy from the corner of his eye he saw Ken approaching.
