175. Lia's Promise

As planned, this afternoon Rara will have lunch with Lia and Sakka at one of the restaurants. The plan wants to be in the campus cafeteria but considering they want something to talk about be choosing a place outside the campus to be more flexible.

Rara had also asked permission from her husband first of course, otherwise she might not dare to go without permission.

"I'm like a mosquito repellent here" lamented Rara who was staring at the new partner before her eyes.

"I'm sorry Ra, I'll just sit next to you." Lia was about to get up and move next to Rara but Sakka held her hand.

"This is it baby, I will be bribed by you," said Sakka who was spoiled to her lover.

"Don't be like this Sakka, there's Rara here." Lia really has to be extra patient to face Sakka who has become more childish since becoming her lover.

"You've already been there, Lia. Kasian is your big baby asking you for a bribe. Now you tell me how you guys got to be?" Rara does not want to disturb their affection, she does not matter if she has to see him later at home she can make out with her husband as much as possible.

Suddenly there was a loud noise from outside. Lia and the mother immediately ran out.

"What's this?" ask the housewife who just came with Lia.

"When you're done, now you're out of here because this old building is about to be leveled." The new man Lia knows if he is the owner of the inheritance from his parents.

"Sorry sir, please give us a little more time to find a place to move. We beg you sir, pity where the children are going if we have not found a place," the mother of the parlour begged even to kneel before the man. It certainly makes Lia's heart throb pain, Lia who already considers the mother of the house like her own mother is not willing to see him rest in front of the miserly and greedy person.

"From yesterday you always buy time, this time I can't wait anymore. This building should be leveled immediately!" The man had no pity at all.

Lia looked at the faces of the children who looked frightened at the sight of those people carrying sharp weapons. The caretakers also could not do anything more.

"Let's go ahead, we'll flatten it right now!" the man's orders to his men.

"Wait!!" The field was blocking the heavy equipment that was about to move forward.

"What's more, you better step aside Miss. Otherwise I won't be reluctant to flatten you either." Threaten that guy.

"Wait for you sir, you can't just flatten this building." Lia's trying to prevent.

"Why not? This is the land of my late father and is now mine. Ownership papers are on me, too" the man won't budge.

"We know it's Master, but don't you think of your father. His head will be cut off if you drive orphans like they're out of here."

"I don't care, I need money too. Now you move!!"

The men were about to keep advancing and Lia closed her eyes when she saw the heavy equipment getting closer to her. But who would have thought that all the orphanage children ran towards Lia and together confronted them.

They stopped the heavy equipment. They don't want to get in trouble if they take people's lives. What else is not just one but many.

"What do you really want? I've completely exhausted my patience, if you don't want to step aside as well then I'll use rude means to get rid of all of you!" shouted the man who looked very angry.

"Sir, please give us until tomorrow. You can come back here tomorrow if we manage to get the money to pay for this land you have no right to bother these kids anymore." Lia begged with confidence, yes she was sure that God would give her a way.

"Well, I'll give you until tomorrow but if tomorrow you don't get the money. I won't wait any longer" said the man, staring bitterly at the plan again.

"Thank you sir, I promise you this is the last one. Tomorrow if we don't get the money, we'll leave this place" Lia said with a happy smile, she seemed to get a glimmer of hope.
