Patience in Wounds (Stupidity)

Patience in Wounds (Stupidity)
25. Trapped and Cannot Go Home

At Febby's house.

Right now Revan is sitting together with Febby and his mom, the mother and son are unceasingly inviting the man to chat. Until Revan had no chance to express the intention of his arrival to the house. Time and time again he gave Febby the code but it was as if the girl deliberately didn't care.

Didn't mean to come there to advise Aunt Vienna to treat her illness but they didn't discuss it at all. When Revan tried to ask Febby, he forbade him from discussing it at this time.

"Feb, let me tell your mother now" whispered Revan, who was eager to return home.

"Wait, you're feeling happy. Can't talk about that sad thing right now, look how happy his face is right now because of your arrival" Febby replied.

Of course it was just an excuse, all of this was a plan that he had put together with the mama. Hold Revan as long as possible in his house.

"Drink the tea for Revan" said Aunty Vienna.

Revan drinks the tea on the table in honor of the host.

"Tante is very happy that you want to play again here, it's been a long time since you stopped by the house" he said again.

"Yes Aunt, I'm busy finishing my thesis." Revan answered as he was, he looked with a frenzy at his watch which showed that the day was getting late. He promised to go home before dinner.

The change was felt by Aunt Vienna and her daughter, who coded each other through her eyes.

"Wahh Aunt is amazed at you, young people have earned so many titles. Are you gonna take over the company when you graduate." Aunt Vienna deliberately stalling.

"Yes Aunt, grandfather is getting older it is time to rest and enjoy his old age at home."

"It's time for the young to work. Oh, when are you going to propose to Aunt's daughter?"

Viennese aunt pretends not to know if Revan is married and it's time she urged her daughter-in-law to marry her.

"That's probably not for now Auntie." In his heart Revan said otherwise, not for the future either because I already have a wife.

"Revan has to run Mah's company, surely he needs time to adapt to the world of work," defended Febby as if he agreed with what Revan said.

"Ohh yes, you have to prove to your grandfather that you deserve to replace him. However, Auntie hope you formalize your relationship first with the possible engagement, because Aunty wants to be left at an age that may soon be able to see the only daughter that Aunty has happily with the man she loves." The face of Aunt Vienna has changed.

"You don't talk like that." Febby grabbed his mother's body. The two women were very smart to let out tears like this.

"I'm sure Auntie can be cured if she wants to undergo chemotherapy" Revan suggested.

"No son, better Auntie spend time with Febby," refused Aunt Vienna.

"Tante will not know the results if not try, medical devices today are increasingly sophisticated certainly aunt can be cured." Revan tried to persuade him.

"By seeing Aunt's daughter happy is enough for me." Aunty Vienna strongly rejected the advice of Revan.

"Mom..." Febby hardened his cries.

"Have not to be sad anymore. Isn't there a kid Revan who will take care of you later. Is that right, son?" ask Vienna's aunt to Revan who looks confused.

Revan neither confirmed nor rejected the statement that Aunt Vienna had made to her daughter. Just a faint smile full of doubt on his lips.

After the talk Revan did not expect that Aunt Vienna invited some of her relatives and proudly introduced her as the future husband of Febby. He could not deny even though in his heart he was eager to say if he was currently married.

The mothers continued to search for Revan with questions and also invited him to play together.

While Revan's heart has been very agitated since earlier because his wife did not return the message he sent.

Seen there, the message he sent Rara had been read but not replyed as well. Makes Revan think that his wife is angry with him at this time.

Revan immediately sent another message when he saw if his wife was online in his WA. He apologized and promised to go home before dinner. Not long the reply from the wife entered, at least making him able to breathe a sigh of relief because it turns out his wife just woke up which means not deliberately ignoring his message.

"What are you doing, Van?" asked Febby who was secretly following where the man was going.

"No, I just want to get some fresh air for a bit. What's up?" Revan couldn't have told me if he was waiting for news from his wife.

"Mommy and the others were waiting so I caught up with you to the toilet but there was nothing there and accidentally saw you standing here." Though the real reason is not like that, since Febby was following Revan.

"Yes, let's go back inside." Revan's coming in through Febby.

How dare you still think about that woman when you are with me, this is all because that old grandpa betrothed you to that village woman. Otherwise, I would have been his wife instead of that woman.

Febby still does not want to accept the fact that Revan is not his.

The residence of the Herwaman family.

Rara had finished preparing dinner, just waiting for her grandfather and husband. He saw a clock that had shown almost 7 pm but the husband had not yet returned home, instead in his message earlier he said if he would go home before dinner.

Rara was getting more agitated because her husband did not come home, no matter what he did with the woman. Although she had convinced herself that her husband would not do anything but still she felt unsettled.

Not to mention what to answer if grandfather asks.

"Where's Revan, hasn't he come down yet." Grandpa's voice that just came home shocked Rara.

Just now he was thinking of the reason he was going to tell Grandpa but his person had already appeared in front of him.

"Emmm that's Cake, earlier Brother Revan said there was a business for a while."

Sis, hurry home I can't lie to Grandpa.

Rara never lied and never taught to lie, she was confused when looking for reasons for her husband's departure. Want to talk the truth but do not want grandfather to be a lot of thoughts and even affect his health later.

"Alright, grandpa went to the room first to clean the body." Grandpa Tio passed inside.

Rara exhaled, relieved that it was because Tio's grandfather didn't ask any more questions about the absence of the granddaughter at home.

Sorry cake, I didn't mean to lie to grandpa. I don't know how to explain it either.

Rara's heart was overcome with guilt for not telling grandfather the truth. She hoped her husband would come home soon so that grandfather would not think badly of her.
