Patience in Wounds (Stupidity)

Patience in Wounds (Stupidity)
8. Starting from the Stomach

Rara waits at the dinner table, worried that Tio's husband and grandfather don't like her cooking.

After all, the tastes of people who live in cities with people who live in villages must be different. Although the waiters said Rara's cooking was very good, then did not make him complacent. Until her husband feels his own cooking, then he will calm down.

If her husband does not like her cooking this time Rara will not be angry, it is a sign that she must learn contemporary cuisine.

Earlier, Rara deliberately cooked quite a lot of food as a greeting for all residents of this house. Those who eat it are not only praised because Rara is the master, but it is true if Rara's cuisine is very tasty and fit on their tongue.

The servants also welcomed with joy the arrival of his new employer, Rara was not at all arrogant even though he was married to a rich man who owned the house.

It turned out that Tio's grandfather went down first using the elevator in the house. Rara so new know if the house is also equipped with elevator facilities as well. Not because Rara did not know what an elevator was, but indeed she did not see it from earlier, she was not the girl of the village.

"Good morning grandfather," Rara said as Tio's grandfather approached.

"By morning, said the old man you woke up early this morning, you'd be tired if you woke up too early and cooked every day, son."

"It's okay cake. I'm used to doing it at home."

The word love can grow through the stomach, Rara will not waste the opportunity to spoil her husband's stomach with the cuisine he made himself.

Not long after, Revan went down, he used the clothes of his choice.

"By the cake" Revan said to his beloved grandfather.

"By son, are you going to college today?"

"Yes Kek, I need to finish my thesis immediately."

Revan sat in the chair opposite the wife, so they were both facing each other at this time, while the grandfather sat in the chair of the head of the family.

"You should also enroll your wife in college, she's a smart kid. It's a pity not to go to college." Bright grandpa.

"Grandfather, take it easy, I'll register it later" said Revan, looking at his wife who looked down again.

"Good, thank you, son. Let's start eating..."

Rara started to get rice for grandfather, then took vegetables and side dishes after that put the plate in front of grandfather.

"Serve your husband, too, son," said the grandfather, reminding him, and he looked at Revan and said, "Give Rara your plate, let her serve you."

Rara brought rice for her husband but she hesitated when she would take vegetables and more.

"Don't Revan want to use that name vegetable?" tanyakanya.

"Anything." Revan didn't see the food but saw his wife.

Finally Rara took a little vegetables and a lot of meat on her husband's plate, she was afraid that the vegetables she cooked did not match her tongue.

They started eating his breakfast, Grandpa and Revan's faces sparkled as they started to chew. They feel something else in the food they eat, not just the taste is better than usual but there is a message every mouthful.

"It's so good, isn't it, son?" ask Grandpa to Revan.

Revan nodded, he felt it but thought it was possible that the chef who used to cook had been replaced by grandfather.

"It's not only delicious, but grandfather felt the warmth of the family while eating it. Who taught you how to cook, son?" Grandpa asked Rara.

Revan who was enjoying his food was almost choked when grandfather asked Rara, it means his wife who has cooked.

"Openk..."

"Drink Brother." Rara quickly helped her husband.

"Thank you." Revan received the drink that Rara offered and drank it. Then sharpen his hearing, maybe he heard wrong earlier.

Grandpa smiled at the interaction of the two, he deliberately asked earlier so that Revan knew that his wife was good at cooking. I knew that if Rara couldn't possibly say that it was her cooking, that girl wasn't the kind of person who liked to get compliments.

"So who taught you how to cook, son, why is it so good."

"That's. I learned from umi, Cake," replied Rara timidly.

"Thank God if you like it, but I can only cook food like this, which I used to cook in the village." Rara still feels inferior because of her original background.

"Foods like this that can make people long to go home son, if the food is like in a restaurant for what to eat at home outside were many who sell."

What Tio's grandfather said was true, they had not eaten such foods, orek tempe, asem vegetables, sambal, and other stir-fries.

"Well, let's eat again."

Revan is also the same he felt back to his childhood, when his mother was still there. Such food is often served at the dinner table, which makes him always miss his late mother. Since his mother died he has often eaten simple foods such as bread, sandwiches, or salads, he has also often eaten outside as his grandfather said. And today the warmth of the family returned he felt thanks to the wife.

"Sir, I'm leaving first." Revan said goodbye to his grandfather not forgetting to kiss the back of his hand.

"Yes be careful son and do not go home too late if you can, take your wife for a walk to know the area here." Grandpa gave advice.

"Revan try it on Cake." Revan does not dispute or avoid his relationship with his wife, he will try to live his married life like a husband.

"Where are you going" asked Grandpa when he saw Revan coming through the door.

"I told you I was going to cake school." Revan almost fused both eyebrows.

"You didn't see your wife first."

Aa. ya almost forgot.

"Rara.." call grandfather to the granddaughter-in-law who is still busy cleaning the dining table.

Rara is approaching soon.

"Yes cake."

Grandfather did not answer but instead saw Revan who was silent.

"Em. That's me going to college first." Revan scratched his head, as he was still unfamiliar.

Rara understood, she came closer to her husband and extended her right hand.

With hesitation Revan returned a helping hand from his wife.

"Be careful, sister" said Rara after kissing the back of her husband's hand.

"Came.iya. I'm leaving first."

Rara smiled at the husband, a smile that was able to make Revan continue to be imagined.

,,,

After her husband and grandfather left, Rara spent a lot of time in the small library in the house, because there was nothing else she could do there, precisely grandfather did not allow her to be too tired.

Rara's attention is drawn to the family photo containing Tio's grandfather, little Revan and his mother, just like the one on display in the family room. Rara just found out that it turns out Revan's father went somewhere when her husband was still in the womb. Not leaving because of death or divorce but missing no news.

Little Revan only received affection from his mother and grandfather and when he was 10 years old his mother died. Since then Revan only lives with Tio's grandfather, the grandfather was not too much time for his grandson because he was busy taking care of the company.

Rara rubbed the photo, feeling sorry for her husband's childhood. It turns out that a lot of suffering that Revan has experienced from childhood.

"It's so pretty of his mother, maybe because it's that Revan's sister is so handsome." Praise his late mother-in-law.

However, she also unintentionally praised her husband. Rara was ashamed of herself when she regained consciousness, and then returned to being privileged. Getting a handsome-faced husband is one form of grace as well as a test for him, where out there must be many girls who also admire her husband.
