Rahim Nayra For Naura

Rahim Nayra For Naura
Chapter 61 - Learning to Peace

Nayra was preparing a meal for Raka who would be delivered by her as usual, Ms. Mita who saw it did not seem to approve of Nayra's actions that she did not need.

"Raka can buy her own lunch, Nay," said Ms. Mita as she peeked at the lunchbox which was already full of some rice, side dishes and vegetables.

"The truth is, Auntie, but Raka says she prefers home cooking" Nayra said with a smile.

"Better healthy as well actually, but are you not tired if every day deliver food so?"

"No, I can do it all day at home." Nayra closed her lunchbox and put it in her bag. "This way I also have time for lunch with Raka, Auntie" he added.

Mita smiled as she watched Nayra who was now ready to leave, now she understood why Raka could love her sister-in-law so much. Nayra is indeed a good woman and partner, she is not selfish and pays attention to the people around her.

"Unfortunately Aunt can't come with you now, honey, because Auntie has a promise with friends."

"It's okay, I'm going with the driver."

...🦋...

"I don't know what happened either, Pa, suddenly last night Nayra said she wanted you to come to our wedding."

Raka complains to Mr. Desta about Nayra's wishes, because he does not want to refuse Nayra's request but he also cannot say so.

Raka is currently at work.

"Maybe he misses us" said Mr. Desta. "Actually Papa is also very eager to attend your wedding, Papa also misses him very much."

"Yes, I can see in his eyes how he misses kali."

"Who?"

Raka instantly raised her face when she suddenly heard Nayra's voice. "Hey, honey," said Raka with a smile.

However, Nayra just scowled. His eyes looked annoyed. "Who are you on the same phone? Who's missing?"

Raka put on a smile seeing the lover who is currently in a jealous mood. "cock silent? You cheated?" accuse Nayra who immediately makes Raka laugh.

"Geez, where'd your silly thoughts come from, hm?"

Raka moved from her chair, she approached Nayra who was currently still standing in the doorway with the food box in her hand. "I'm not cheating, honey," said Nayra.

"Long," Nayra's.

"That's Papa," said Raka finally honestly.

"Papa? Papa's at home, why do you have to miss him?" Nayra was showing her suspicion. Instead of upsetting Raka, it made her feel uneasy with Nayra's expression.

"Father you, not my father."

Nayra was silent.

Papa's?

The figure he had longed for so far, who he did not dare to call and somehow he never contacted him either. In fact, Nayra had thought maybe her father had forgotten her.

"You want to talk to him?" Raka handed her phone, but Nayra just stared at the phone blankly.

"Pa? Nayra wants to talk" said Nayra.

"Son?"

Nayra's tears immediately spilled upon hearing the father's voice. "How are you, honey?" His father's voice now sounded trembling, as if it was holding back the same longing turmoil as Nayra.

"Yes, Pa" Nayra said as she wiped her tears. "Papa?" Tears flowed again but this time with a smile.

"I miss, Papa," whined Nayra.

...🦋...

While on the other hand, Mr. Desta was not able to stem his tears when he heard Nayra's voice. For a long time they did not speak, not that Mr. Desta did not want to let alone forget his daughter. However, for some reason he did not dare because of the guilt that gnawed at his soul.

"Papa also miss you, son," said Mr. Desta. "It's so weird."

"Why come here later? Soon Raka and I are getting married, Papa can come, right?"

Mr. Desta could not answer, despite his great desire to attend his daughter's wedding, however, he could not just leave.

"Papa will try, dear," said Mr. Desta finally.

"Mrs ... Mama how are you, Pa? He's good, right? Don't you remember me anymore?"

"Don't say that, son," reprimanded Mr. Desta firmly. "Mama misses you so much, she talks about you too, but Papa purposely forbids her from contacting you."

"Why? I'm Mama's son, too, Pa."

"You know, honey, Papa's just afraid it's gonna open up old wounds in our family."

Silence, no sound. Making Mr. Desta immediately anxious, did he mispronounce something that again hurt his daughter?

"Nayra, sorry, honey. Not Papa—'s intent"

"i understand, Pa," said Nayra.

Without Pak Desta noticing, Naura had been standing in the doorway. He listened to what the father was talking about with his twin sister.

Naura let out a long sigh, after which she rushed down to meet the mother who was currently at the dining table.

"Well, where's Papa?" asked Ms. Irna because Naura said she would call her father for breakfast.

"I didn't call Papa, Ma, I went to the room" Naura replied lyingly.

"Oh yeah, let Mama call," said Ms. Irna.

He was about to go up to his room but suddenly Naura prevented him. "Why?" ask Ms. Irna.

"Let me call," Naura said with a stiff smile.

Ms. Irna let Naura call her father even though she actually felt something was wrong with her daughter. However, he did not want to think about the no-no .

When Naura was at the end of the stairs, apparently the father had come out of the room. "What's up, Ra?" ask Mr. Desta.

"Breakfast is ready, Pa," said Naura.

Mr. Desta nodded in understanding.

"Why don't you go?" Pak Desta's steps instantly came to a halt upon hearing what Naura said.

"Where?" ask Mr. Desta confused.

"Walking to Nayra."
