He is Expected

Constantine Yang sharply highlighted the figures before him. He held the sword firmly in his right hand and left hand. He turned his head for a few moments, before he ran over to Youli Young.

Youli Young gasped because in the blink of his eyes, Constantine was in front of him and flicked his sword towards his arms which were unprotected. He could not escape considering Constantine's rapid movements.

"Your Majesty!"

"NO!"

It came pouring down from the hand of Youli who had been cut off. The man's body shook at once. His eyes were implying despair, sadness, and anger at the same time.

"Constantine Yang, you have to pay for this! Be my concubine, then I will have the imperial side forgive you," he said, growling.

Constantine grunted softly. He raised his eyebrows, then smiled disdainfully. "Why am I serving a useless person like you? After all, it's your last day here" he sighed.

"Oh—I love your confidence. You—"

"YOUR MAJESTY!"

Everyone was shocked when they saw the head of Youli Young who within seconds had rolled on the sand. The body without the top, then fell. Unbelieving expressions were visible in their eyes. In fact, the head that had been separated from his body, showed a similar expression.

"Whispering." Constantine spoke briefly. His eyes were very cold. With his powerful aura, he walked up to the Great General along with the three generals and the other Anming Knights.

"You guys .. are you okay?" konstantine asked, with a bitter smile.

"Thank God you came. We were really desperate. Sorry for this failure," Xingxing Tang said with her head bowed. He breathed long.

"thank you. I know you're strong and won't give up that easily. Our kauharapan. It's so good to see you like this. Despite losing, at the very least, we will face this together. For me and for all of us, you're amazing." Shi Jian smiled behind his pale face.

"I .. believe you," said Jingguo Li, briefly. His eyes were already glazed. If Constantine hadn't existed, he might not have been this evil. "But .., we've lost. Sorry for my failure. I let you down."

"You never let me down. Because what you're trying to do, it's been a pride for me." Constantine smiled faintly. He held the chain that ensnared his family's body. It didn't take long, the iron was smashed into pieces.

"MISS, I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND YOUR POSITION NOW! DON'T FIGHT OR—"

"I know." Constantine coldly replied. He dropped both his swords. Near the Great General's body, and then he held both shoulders.

"My teacher is a great leader—Great General who is admired by many people, including this student of yours," he said. He hugged the weak-looking body.

"Do I look pathetic? You're recovering fast." Jingguo Li returned Constantine's embrace. He looked around her bitterly. It looked like a great battle of some moments had passed.

"Hey .., anyway, you're handsome and dashing. Contracts with spirits help restore power" Constantine said. Jingguo who heard that raised his eyebrows was curious. He wants to hear more stories.

"I'm glad you killed him. Really, I wouldn't accept if the girl my best friend loved had to be a concubine from the trash like her," Ma Zhengyi said.

"At least, even losing, we have to stick together. We are family." Xingxing Tang smiled, then hugged Constantine. He patted the girl's head slowly which he considered like his own sister.

"Battle, it turns out that it does have a big impact on the closeness of all of us. It's good to see you guys embrace each other. In the first place, you were against the very existence of General One" Shi Jian said. He patted the three generals shoulders.

"Stop your drama! You don't want to see how the Anming Kingdom and its people are doing? I want to see how they react. Will they welcome you with joy, or .. hatred?" A man said arrogantly.

The Great General, his deputy, and the other generals were staring at each other by that sentence. Benar—how did the Anming People react to this defeat? Will they be .. hated?
