"You must not be deceived by that*****; he just wants to lock on to you!" The emerald finally exploded when he saw that he was ignored after all he had done.

This explosion caught everyone's attention but Elvis Reid, Krystal's father didn't look good after his daughter did that. He knew what kind of impression he made on such a big day.

"And can you tell us what you mean by that?" Annie asked patiently as if she was unaware of what everyone was talking about.

He almost sucked the girl's neck and threw her out of his house but she would be patient and teach in that way less family some manners.

"He was a criminal, he spent a year in prison for assault and stalking. She always associated herself with the rich.I'm afraid you might be fooled by her," Emerald spoke proudly as she saw how people began to have other views of the goddess they admired.

Krystal only chuckled as she listened to her blackened little sister.

Krystal only felt sorry for this sister and wished Annie could teach her a lesson because if she did then this time she would completely destroy her and Reid's family.

This made Emerald grit his teeth in anger, why was he so arrogant when people were humbling him like this?

I'm not going to teach you how you behave in your own home but in this complex, I'm the matriarch and my words are law. Someone like you is not allowed to question my decision just like that out of jealousy. I'm contacting you here today to tell you directly that this young woman you threw away and didn't acknowledge as if you were once her parents now has Holmes's protection and anyone who tries anything funny will be dealt with. The case that sent her to juvie would be left alone since she did not want to have her matter investigated anymore," Annie spoke to the guests who were now silent.

His name was added to Holmes' genealogy which made him a family to them. But he refused to change his last name to Holmes because he still wanted to pay for his adoptive mother Portia Macy who had raised him when he was alone and abandoned.

The Holmes family understood this and did not force him any more. It was night two teenage girls shared the same room to sleep even though Annie had prepared a bedroom for Krystal just in case she came.

Krystal also refused to move into Holmes' house, because someone who had a number of secrets, it was unwise for him to live with such a large family.
