Chapter 6: LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION

Krystal has been very happy since meeting Mr. Macy who had promised him a terrible school situation. He was busy studying the new student books and took out a memory-retaining pill as he read.

It had completely consumed a lot of his energy but he had done quite well so far especially when he found out that the pill was magical, she said, he could not forget what he saw and his speed was a little faster than usual which made it easy for him to memorize some of the textbooks he had bought before.

He received a call from the management office while he was reading a new student history textbook that he found very interesting. He left his villa and walked towards the office and signed the package that had been sent.

He hugged the envelope back into his villa where he tore it up and smiled when he saw the letter that had been sent to him. This is the letter that was promised to her a few days ago. After reading it, he placed it carefully into the drawer before he called Mr. Macy to thank him.

After talking to her, she decided to visit her former school to get her grade report so she could go and enroll in a new school.

He continued his studies and this time he had more motivation because the problem had been solved.

The next day he went to his former school and he was not afraid at all. She was no longer the shy young girl who wanted to please everyone and desperately needed the love and recognition of others.

When he arrived, he immediately went to the management office where he met a middle-aged woman who seemed to be in her fifties. There was something about her that seemed to just disappear and from the memories she got, this woman was nicknamed a witch because of her aloof attitude.

"How are you, ma'am?" Krystal tried to be as polite as possible when facing this witch.

The woman looked at him with disdain, it was no wonder that he remembered her.

"What are you doing here?"

"I'm here to get a report on my grades. I have to find another school," he replied ignoring the unsightly look on his face.

"Umph, what kind of school would accept someone like you?" the witch sneered at him as she typed on her computer probably looking for her report.

Krystal did not bother to answer him because she would probably trigger him and this might make the witch refuse to give her what she wanted.

The woman prints the documents she needs and she gives them to her.

"I wish I'd never see you here again, kids like you littering holy places like this" he sneered again.

This time Krystal did not hold it back but laughed out loud.

"People like you who look at themselves and think that they are gods who desecrate places like this" Krystal sneered at the witch.

"What...?" the witch could not even speak because she was angry after what she said, but she did not care about him.

"You have to learn to have your own opinions and stop believing in gossip. For people who are considered teachers and also a mother, you must be more open-minded than now. It's good I'm gone. Don't worry about me. You'll never see me again" Krystal sneered at the witch and left the office laughing like crazy.

He was thoroughly enjoying himself as he recalled how furious the witch was when she left the office. She even heard him throw insults at her as she left.

Krystal left the school she loved so much, the school where she suffered so much and the school that caused her misery. He took a taxi to Riverside High School, he found the management office quickly. He processed his documents quickly because he had a personal letter from his own owner.

She paid her school fees because she had turned down a scholarship from Mr. Macy's earlier. She left school after receiving her school ID and uniform list.

Krystal walked towards the boutique that sold the uniforms. He gave the list to the server and soon he was ushered to the section where the Riverside High School uniform was located. He searched for a few moments for his size and luckily he found some. He is still malnourished for people his age. He took five sets of uniforms, paid for them and left the boutique in his uniform.

Krystal returns to her villa where she puts a new uniform in her closet. He visited the mission hall once more and saw that the mission he had taken back then had been completed. He smiled when he saw another crystal had been added to the wallet and five pills were waiting for him in another jade bottle.

He did not leave immediately after getting his reward but visited the treasury hall. There was a map on the shelf and after looking at its attributes he discovered that it was a treasure map. The map could show where the various types of treasures were located and it was limited to the mall level.

Since he had obtained over ten crystals so far, he had managed to open all the stores for now even though the products in each store were still too few but as long as he produced more; then the mall will level up. So far he had obtained thirteen and a half crystals, he needed another six and a half to level up once again. He anticipates what the mall will look like when he levels up but to do that he will have to sell the diamond or look for another source of income and he prefers the second option.

So Krystal decided to buy the treasure map and parted with the seven crystals that left her with just a few pieces of silver. He became broke and his wallet had to be refilled immediately or he would not be able to buy any food.

Krystal took out a map outside and placed it on her desk in her study. The map was quite large and the materials used for it were special and it was not something he had seen before.

He studied the map for over an hour and he realized that so far it only showed plants. He knew how much he could get for some high-tier herbs; he had once known a traditional medicine practitioner who was madly researching medicinal herbs. As long as he found a good market, he would definitely earn a lot of money.

Krystal kept the map in her desk drawer, cooked her dinner and ate it alone in the large villa. It's frustrating living alone but she still can't bear to have anyone with her right now,

After she finished eating, she went to her bedroom where she bathed and changed into night clothes. He turned off the bedside lights and fell into a deep sleep, it was a very long day for him.
